Good information and good work, thanks for the video. I'm looking at possibly getting a 90's model 325 soon so this helped me out seeing the hydraulic stuff
I've just finished works on 331E (mostly electrical things) and it's not done yet as there is still some mystery electrical behaviour so I feel you :D I have both service and user manual for 331, 331E and 334 and also service manual for Kubota V2203E (if you have the same engine as me) so I can share if you need.
Hello friend. I have a 4t mini that i love. When you swing the boom it is very strong but it travels a good bit after letting off lever. Makes for a lot of aggravation. Could my issue be a relief valve or is it more likely a mechanical issue? The swing motor bolts are good and the swing bearing seems tight. Takeuchi tb135. 3k hours.
I have excavator swing fine when the hoe empty above ground in the air, when I try to move dirt on ground weak no power can't move dirt? I don't know why any idea ?
I just picked up a 2000 x331 bobcat and it runs great other than some leaks that I still have to find. But I was curious as to what that actuator was that you said the key sometimes wouldn't activate? Also I have a constant buzzer on the dash and mine is so faded I can't tell what it is. It's the very right one just above the blank space on the dash. Thanks man!
The actuator i am referring to is the solenoid for the fuel injection pump shut off. I think its a dual magnet solenoid, one to pull it in to allow fuel to the injection pump, and one to hold it in while running. The hold part of the solenoid works, its just the initial pull in that doesn't and i have to key it on then manually push in the plunger on the solenoid so it will start. The buzzer should only be wired into the water temp, or oil pressure switches. I have an indicator light on the right also that is always on, but too faded to tell. I just ignore it as the oil pressure and temp gages work fine.
@@IndependenceIron yep same with mine. Coolant, volts and fuel work fine. I did find out it was the engine temp light that is stuck on. Yet it's on when I start it and when I shut it off... I'm gonna trace the wiring and see if there's a short maybe?
I accidentally learned the wrong controls lol. Not sure if I should switch to right side controlling the boom since I just started. Any benefits to iso controls over sae? Superior in any way?
Hey man really need you’re help for a sec so I have some bad readings on the pressure so I adjusted the pressure releases to max and sadly it isn’t high enuf yet does this mean the pump is bad ? And can I remove the nut on the bolt to get some more pressure out of it I have a bobcat x225
Quinten i can not really troubleshoot remotely with the info you have given, but if you have adjusted all the reliefs to max and you can not reach the spec pressures you have some sort of issue. It could be the pump, or internal leakage in a valve/cylinder. You can pull the cylinder lines and cap them to rule out cylinder leakage, and then it would just be valve or pump issues. If all functions are of similar low pressure it may just be that the pump is wore out especially if you have turned up all the reliefs. Being that its a 225 and older, depending on its condition may not be worth investing alot of money. I have at times on old equipment that i didn't use alot I drained the fluid and went to a higher weight hydraulic fluid. AW32 fluid is like 10w engine oil where AW100 is similar to 30w engine oil, and AW 150 is similar to 40w engine oil. Could even go higher if your pressures are very low. Its a short term bandaid but may make it usable for a while until you can come to a more permanent solution.
@@IndependenceIron so one of the three pumps is giving good pressure could I swap this pumps lines with one that’s was not giving good pressure and see or the pressure is good then so then I know it’s the pumps
@@quintengiegas6330 Yes it would be best to swap those lines from the good pump to the bad and see if the pressures follow. Being a 225 i am not familiar with the pump setup but assume its similar to the 331.

You say you have a 337. Unfortunately my manual only goes up to 334 size machine. Need a different manual for 337. But from what you say if you have shocks when swinging. It may be an issue in the swing motor, swing valve, or main rotation bearing.
Really appreciate this video, thank you!
Glad i could be a help!

If thats the only function that is weak i would guess its a relief valve issue, or the swing motor is going bad.
It the main pump mine doin same thing. It 3 stage pump. One section of the main pump weak

I run SAE. Much more intuitive. And if you hop in some older junk, you will be able to run it easier.
