@@car-lo nope. Only after removing gas cap to add fuel. Car will run perfectly normal for a week, go get gas and it take 10 mins to start after that. Doesn’t matter it you added a gallon or a full tank.
Could this have to do anything with smoke on first cold start? I have changed the PCV valve and the rubber seal, cleaned the aos with break cleaner. Car is at 54k 2013 .. any input what could it be?
Hey man I am getting a P2239 for O2 high voltage on the upstream. Replacing the sensor did nothing. Idles steady at 900 but feels rough and janky. I read a possible issue is an evap leak or fuel pressure. That or wiring harness to the PCM or the PCM itself. I noticed in your previous video you were getting a leak without throwing codes. Do you think it could be related?
@@car-lo No I just have a basic OBDII scanner and took a shot in the dark. At first I thought of it as a cause but now wondering if it's a symptom. Considering to bring it to someone who specializes in electrical issues but not many in my area and they are booked far in advance. Thought maybe you saw this issue come up before in dealing with your evap issue.
@@insaneapples1559 no worries, usually when it comes to o2 sensors it is good to know the voltage coming out of it, and check the ground to it. Also, your MAP sensor check it as well.
Did you have a P1CEA code? I have the boost leak fix, diverter valve and a CAI and the code came up, can’t seem to find a vacuum leak. So trying to trace it down
@@car-lo no sir. Downpipe back exhaust. So now I got diag the purge valve. Just P1CEA, no other codes, no rough idle, no problems starting. No limp mode. Just an annoying code. And the car is tuned
Pretty good for a one hand repair, while holding the phone, I'm impressed.
Got one from Amazon seems to work well so far❤❤❤
I've had hard starts and now have engine code for it failing. Gonna replace thanks to you. 👊
Very nice man. Honestly thank you amigo!!! I'd buy you a 6 pack of i could 🍻
🍻 cheers virtual! Ty
Great video! I have a P0456 - Evap system - Small leak.
Do you know how can I fix this? Or what could solve the problem?
Thanks
Hi, great video thanks for putting it on, I'm having problems finding one of these, any suggestions where to purchase in the UK? Cheers Keith
Hi Keith, Amazon might carry them, but local garage from fiat, or dismantler might haven them.
Thanks bro, it works.
What’s the P/N and where did you buy it from? Is this the EVAP purge canister or the EVAP purge canister solenoid valve?
500 pop p0456
Hard start after fuel/removing gas cap. Think this is the likely culprit?
Is it hard start only if the car hasnt been started for a long time?

Start with cheap alternative if you havent replace your gas cap yet, because that code could be gas cap.

It can be related, but if the problem persist (the smoke on cold start) usually you have a wear on one of the piston rings or the cylinder wall.
I have the error code p0441-71 (Purge Canister Valve - Actuator Stuck Open) i need to replace the same part ? 😊
What made you changed this part out? Did you have a code P0456?
P0456 is part of your vent valve in the canister, but they are cheap replacement on both, it is a good maintenance if you have high miles.

What is the voltage on the o2 sensor? Have u checked it before replacing the old one?

Please check the CAI nipples slight kink or even a small leak can pop a code.
Yehp, please put back the oem boost leak fix, that on a certain abarth will pop. Put it back to original set up and see if the p1cea comes back.
@@car-lo roger! Thanks again

i have 2018 abarth - i think its different
I think you are right, they might have made changes through out the years.
Agreed 👍🏼
