Its so weird with harleys. Like my mind knows that they arent as advanced as the japanese bikes or even triumph or italians. But you get on one and it doesnt seem to matter. Its just fun
When I was a kid, I would sometimes go to work with my dad, he was a builder, I would ride around on a dumper truck with him, Riding a Harley reminds me of that old dumper truck! Think the suspension was better on the dumper as I recall.
Hahah yeah they’re not the most refined bikes. I’ve enjoyed riding the ones I’ve tried, but for me the triumphs are better bang for your buck with just as much character
MOTOBOB Thank you! :) Heavy breather air filter (looks cool too), short loud pipes, and a remap by Harley to complement the two, giving it an overall horse power of around 70HP and a lot more torque (or so i've been told :)) ). Now that i see the white tank... i really like it!
nice one mate!! cool vid!! I just got a 2017 dyna fatbob!! I had a 2014 bob and sold it for a 2016 softail deluxe but it wasn't for me so I went bk to the dark side dyna lol!!
+AndyLee103 cheers Andy. Really enjoyed testing the Harleys. Especially the roadster. Loved that bike. Maybe some day... but with motorcycle theft being what it is in London, doesn't seem worth the risk of buying a new bike at the moment
ow would you compare the roadster with the sportster? Im drawn to the twin front discs and upside down forks of the roadster but everything else from the sportster
I think the biggest difference is the footpeg position. Much further back on the roadster. Makes a big difference to the feel of riding them. I'd definitely recommend riding both before you decide.
No fuel gauge, but it has a low fuel light. I am having my lcd handlebar mounted brake master cylinder replacement gauge kit today and I am pumped to have a neat tidy fuel gauge now!
Sounds more like a harley than the fat-bob for sure. Wouldnt have one as my only bike, but in a multi-bike garage a harley is essential for pootling round
Yeah it sounds decent. Roadster still sounds the best of all I've ridden, but with the motor being the same it must have been the pipes. Would definitely love to own one some day, but if I was going for a retro bike it would probably be a Triumph tbh. I'll have to get rid of my bike when ULEZ comes in so hopefully used Street Twins will be at an affordable price by then. Something like that...
Really? How old is the ER6? Triumph have absolutely nailed the retro scene I must say. Not just retro looking, great sounding, and comfortable, but with the likes of the Thruxton R in there, there is some real performance from them aswell. Im sure there will be some decently priced street twins around
+Samuel Wicks it's a 2006 and the proposed cutoff is 2007. To be honest I might end up swapping before then anyway as you always want to try something new after a while. Thruxton looks awesome - would love to try one out some time.
The ER6 has been good to you and is a bullet-proof commuter bike pretty much. But as you say, you want to try something new. Mates dad has one, with the US spec Vance and Hines pipes on it (no cat and removable baffles) and it sounds amazing and god is it fast. Its something like £10 a day for 'older' bikes isnt it for the ULEZ? Been invited to a BBQ with some family friends on the 17th and I was like, sorry mum and dad Im not coming, if I am Ill ride up and meet you later ahaha :D
+Samuel Wicks yeah man I've heard the Vance and Hines are the nuts. And yeah £12 a day I think and they're extending the zone too. I totally understand why because the air quality in London is so so so bad. I'll be fine to get a diff bike but feel bad for folks who use it as a cheap form of transport. And anyone who's spent time and money restoring or customising an older bike to commute on. Haha don't let me keep you from family plans! But if you can make it would be awesome to catch up
Not a fan, can't ride Harley's, after 30 minutes can't feel my hands and feet, I like a bike with caracter I have a scrambler, but I think they are dog rough, and bloody expensive,
I do I respect the time you put in this video & Review But I it found it Be Very Boring , you did Not get me excited about the Harley 48 , you just drove it to slow And did not show off the potential of the motorcycle , sorry just my opinion. Maybe you was taking it to safe 🤔
True! I dealer is in central london so I didn't have time to get out onto the open road. Most of my riding is in town though so for me it's the right environment for a test ride, just a bit boring for you... :(

I feel exactly the same! So much fun

Just got a 2020 48. Can't wait for spring now!
16:23, a plane reflection on the cluster :D .. love the bike!
Just bought the 2018 Twisted cherry version straight from the showroom, such a sexy bike.
Enjoy! 🤘
MOTOBOB Thanks man, keep it safe 👊
I sat on this bike at the dealership. Beautiful bike
I just bought one. 2017 with stage 1 kit
+Ray Roman nice one Ray! I'm v jealous. Such a cool bike. What's in the stage 1 kit?
MOTOBOB

saw this bike at Warrs, Chelsea last weekend... got to be my favourite Harley 👍
Looks awesome doesn't it. Think I may even prefer it to the roadster in looks, although peg position was better for me on the roadster
I enjoyed this review. Thanks bike sounds great!
Cheers Andrew! 👍🙌
Great review man
Cheers Tyeler!

Haha... nah 😭😭😭
Does it have a fuel meter or if not can we install one
Don't think it has one but Harley sell a kit.
U can buy one from harley

What’s your jacket?
It’s a Goldtop Cafe Racer 76
nice video, what jacket is that??
+Taylor Fast thanks Taylor. It’s a goldtop classic 76 cafe racer. It’s a great jacket for the price
The rear of the bike looks great, except for the BIG ASS LICENSE PLATE!!!!!! Why does the UK need such a BIG ASS LICENSE PLATE!!!!!
What brand of jacket is that?
+Trevor Wilson goldtop- I think it's called the Cafe Racer classic
8l fuel capacity?
+Dominik G yep 😕

+Dominik G 😂😂😂
