COLORSXSTUDIOS presents a new project exploring the role that music and visual art culture plays in relation to the campaign for global equality, human rights & democracy. Focusing on Sudan, the project showcases music from the north-east African nation and diaspora as a medium through which to raise awareness on the political situation there.
Across multiple episodes, a selection of Sudanese artists share their perspectives through music performances, alongside editorial content to provide in-depth context to the complex issues and events.
The project channels the creative spirit of the protest campaign against the autocratic government of President Omar Al Bashir and the military regime that succeeded him, emphasising how music, poetry and art are central to the dynamic cultural energy at the heart of the movement.

this gives me the chills everytime i hear it.. he's so talented and underrated. let'm know Flippter what's happening over there even if the the world and news pretended to be blind to sudan's pain.. it's our pain it's not about a certain country it's about humanity.
I fucking love this. I can’t really quite say what it is about it but you can feel the genuineness and the place it comes from. I love the colloquialism, the fact that I could’ve listened to this and know immediately that it was a Sudanese person rapping (regardless of the context obviously). it’s been a while since I’ve seen someone do something completely new in the Sudanese rap scene and this definitely feels like it
it's about the Sudanese revolution against the system that's been rulling for 3 decades now and how they faced peacfull protesters with eccesive. Now at a point, the revolutionaries finally made it to organize a peacefull sit-in that lasted for almost 2 months when the the "rapid support forces" aka "Janjaweed" by the order of their commander "Deklo", the vice president of the military council, attacked the protesters killing over 200 peacefull protesters amongst others injured, arrested, or even raped .
His last verses in Sudanese goes : "Our murters did not die they live amongst the revolutionaries, we made each other a promise to live free"
Listening to this in 2023 while Sudan is gng thru war😢 the power in this man’s voice is impeccable
