I really wish traxxas would throw the heavy duty kit on the Hoss; like you said. If it came with better shocks (even metal shock caps) and better drive shafts. I probably would've picked up the Hoss instead of the Maxx. That Maxx is such a tank. Lol

Idk if you mean the Stampede 4X4 VXL or the nee Stampede 4X4 BL-2S in the video. Because the Stampede 4X4 BL-2S is a Hoss in almost every way. It just has a 2S brushless system, composite driveshaft, the extreme heavy duty upgrade kit, and a wheelie bar
I like the traxxas rigs because they're durable to a point. For guy's like me they are perfect, won't be racing it or kicking the piss out of it. Id grab a hoss if i hopped the fence
I wish I would have got xmaxx cause after you buy truck battery charger and tsm Bluetooth thing you spend almost 1000 lol if I could go back I would have got xmaxx and went back later and got everything else

I agree, the HOSS is just an upgraded Rustler. That’s why we never got it, and got the Maxx.

how is the hoss and maxx about the same price? the hoss looks so much cheaper made?
The Maxx is a little over $100 more expensive. And the HOSS is $30 more than the Rustler 4x4 vxl. The prices don’t make a lot of sense.

I think the Rustler handles better, faster, and I enjoy it a lot more. And I rather spend the $100 extra and get a Maxx over a HOSS for sure.
