Great interview. Nice humble guy. SL7 has always been known to be a great bike. The SL7 is known for winning races, from world tour to professional crit (legion LA) ... but the SL8 is associated with slow cafe riders

Thanks. I was looking at the second hand market for a used Venge but the price is still too steep considering it’s age
The moral of the story is, Buy Once Cry Once. I hope he has managed to sell the Aeroad. The SL7 is a legit bike.

The seatpost issue was an easy fix, it’s not a nightmare owning one and dealing with canyon reps
