  • Different video here right now. Instead of plane videos, I go back to publishing videos about Asian areas in Melbourne (this one was long overdue). So Box Hill in Victoria is basically like going to Chatswood, Burwood (NSW), or Hurstville back in Sydney - gives the same vibe as it's the largest Chinese community in Melbourne - this time round with a more mainlander vibe. Whereas Glen Waverley gives a more Malaysian Chinese vibe.
To be honest, they have the best Bak Kut Teh outside of Malaysia. You should go there and see for yourself. "Bak Kut Teh King Box Hill" - check it out and see for yourself. It's a little pricey but it's definitely worth it.
AFAIK, property in Box Hill definitely costs less than that of Glen Waverley, especially apartments - 2 bedroom apartments going for $500K in Box Hill - the same can only get you one bedroom in Glen Waverley.

I'll have more videos coming up, so if you enjoyed them I'll continue to post some more. Footscray will be up and coming, while Sao Paulo series for both Liberdade (Japanese and Chinese area( and Bom Retiro (Korean area) will be coming soon. Plan to visit more Asian areas of the USA and record them too.

"So this place used to have lots of one-storey brick houses, but nowadays many of them are turning into apartment blocks to emulate the lifestyle of Mainland China. So that the new Chinese coming to the suburb get a familiar feel of their homeland."
Such a disrespectful thing to say. If the new Chinese coming to the suburb want to get a familiar feel of their homeland in someone else's homeland, they shouldn't have left their own. Box Hill was made by those who named, founded, pioneered and built the suburb for both themselves and their own future descendants, it was not made for Chinese immigrants who have their own birthright in their own suburbs.

It's like hurstville or burwood chatswood but no direct service to city, maybe you should tell them that bit Melbourne looks more greener

I agree. The Chinese want to take over everything. No consideration for the other people that built all the infrastructure that they now enjoy. I live in Carnegie and I find the Chinese so racist. I have had about 5 interactions buying Chinese products and have been ripped off every time. I will not deal with them. They show whites the contempt they feel for them, but want to use whites infrastructure and what ever else they can get and give nothing back

@@MitchellBPYaoI would listen to a Chinese liar who just is so selfish they can’t see the wood from the trees. No wonder they banned Chinese from so much in Malaysia
