Chhat is the only festival described in Vedas. None else of the existing festivals is mentioned vedas. And chhat is celebration and thanksgiving to Mother Nature, which none of festival does. Even food is cooked on stove built from soil, and the person is expected to live ultra modestly. Not even stitched clothes not a single artificial thing is allowed. While rest of our festivals are so corrupted with wrong practises like burning crackers on Deepawali or alcohol consumption during Holi …despite of them very new and Chhat being older than Vedas( it has been called Adiparv Chhat in Vedas). Time to declare chhat as national festival, especially when India is on the verge of extinction due to climate change and pollution. Indians need to respect Mother Nature or death is very close.
Chhat Puja is not a Muslim celebration. Then why Kejriwal or his AAP will be concerned about it. Despite of all this,Hindus will vote for him and his Party.He is very sure of it.
