Can't express my feeling when l hear this ghazal sung by you.I live in USA but love urdu ghazals.I am a Bangladeshi but understand Urdu very well.Allah Bless you.
कैसे सुकून पाऊँ तुझे देखने के बाद अब क्या ग़ज़ल सुनाऊं तुझे देखने के बाद आवाज़ दे रही है मेरी ज़िन्दगी मुझे जाऊं के या न जाऊं तुझे देखने के बाद काबे का एहतराम भी मेरी नज़र में है सर किस तरफ़ झुकाऊँ तुझे देखने के बाद (एहतराम = आदर, सम्मान) तेरी निगाह-ऐ-मस्त ने मख़मूर कर दिया क्या मैकदे को जाऊं तुझे देखने के बाद (मख़मूर = नशे में चूर, मतवाला) नज़रों में ताब-ऐ-दीद ही बाक़ी नही रही किस से नज़र मिलाऊँ तुझे देखने के बाद (ताब-ऐ-दीद देखने की शक्ति/ ताक़त) मंज़िल की जुस्तजू में उठे थे मेरे क़दम कैसे क़दम बढ़ाऊं तुझे देखने के बाद (जुस्तजू = खोज, तलाश) -सईद शाहीदी
He's certainly very good. Best? Arguable...I mean with that claim, where does that leave the greats like Gulam Ali, Jagjit Singh, Mehdi Hasan, Habib Wali, etc?
Talat bhai is the best amongst the Trimurtis ( Anupji, Pankaj bhai and him ) but he was a much better singer earlier when he'd perform with just a tabalchi, a guitarist and a harmonium player. Of course all 3 of them were great artistes in their own right... Abdul Sattar Tari , Bure Khan Saab and Chintu Singh. Today he has so many musicians on stage, where both Jeetu Shankar and Iqbal Warsi on the violin are maestros.
Tujhsa pehle na kabhi, koi b humdum na dekha; udhgaye josh jawani ka, woh alam dekha. Hasrate mithte nehi, dekhlo jitna b tujhe; maine dekha hain bohut, phir b bohut kam dekha!! Keya bath hain..... Wah!
I am listening to Talat Aziz sahab since early 80’s and till date I still enjoy listening him. I love his voice and simplicity in singing.. he sings in a very simple way but his singing kills... I love you har dil aziz sahab ❤️
Talat aziz acha nahin gaaty sorry to say. Is se acha to hariharan ko ghazal gaana aata hai.. Ham mehdi hassan ke fan hen. Hamen nahin ata aksar pasand. Koi bhi ghazal gaeki mein.. Hamari kharabi hai. Khushi se kehty hen..
