I'm not sure which of Meehan's characters is more of a sweet innocent cinnamon roll: Tim or Fennel. What I do know is that I would die for both of them and they should be protected!

I keep hoping every time Sara does her southern accent that a banjo begins to play in the distance. I just enjoy hearing her version of the accent I grew up with, though I'm not sure why.

Someone has insights on the meatier combat system in Root, despite being a PbtA? I got the book (still waiting for it, so I haven't got my hands on it right now), but I want to know from someone who tried it if the "weapon moves" (iirc?) work well.

It takes a bit to figure out how to figure out how the ranges work tactically, but I’ve run a few good fights. They resolve very quickly.
