I'm a Die Hard Lakers Fan, but I give credit where it's due. The Piston Teams of 1989-90, were one of the most tenacious, well oiled machines of a team I've ever seen. They had it all. Great Coach, Defense, Offense, Fan Base, etc! When The Lakers were going for their 1988 repeat against Detroit, this team scared the hell out of me. No matter what we did, they didn't back down, and they were fighters to the end. I have mad props for this team! You guys earned everything! You got us in 89 and 04!
this was easily the biggest asterisk final in history...Lakers went 11-0 in the post season coming into this final then lose both Magic and Scott to injuries ...they were playing at such a high level, then lose their entire back court...imagine if the Pistons lost both Thomas and Dumars to injury before the series even started...they'd get swept too...
uhh...no? especially with the way the lakers won the year before. if isiah hadn't fucked up his ankle in game 6, the lakers would've lost. so don't get cocky, the pistons were gonna win in 89' no matter what
If if if if. If Jordan hadn't made the shot, if Buckner had fielded that ground ball, if Norwood wasn't wide right...if if if if. "If" in sports is about as useless as a stalled car. History is what happened, not what you think should've happened.

Thanks for posting these man...I'm a huge Pistons fan and went to a lot of these games as a child. Thank you so much for the memories my friend!

I used to live in Indianapolis, and I'd play in the park and be like "The Pacers are gonna win the world title! 28 seconds away and they're up 7!"
💯 Sweep after the Phantom Foul on Kareem. #MOTORCITYBADBOYZ
Once again, your response proves I'm right =)

What is the name of the song starting at 5:04?
young and hungry
The Lakers were studs. Old studs. Injury prone old. They were screwed when Chuck Norris went down the previous round.
@dennydog10 I sho' want dat song too.
3:17: I got the foul, i got the foul. Now stop the bullshit!!!
I'm right =)
If Magic And Scott Were Healty The Lakers Would've Won That Series Real Talk.
Says who?
It's always cheating when you lose, am I right? =)
@WilliamsRicky41 If the Lakers hadn't cheated in '88, the Pistons would have won.
