    Your sons are so lucky! First its the rafflesia flower and after that the long nose monkeys. Both are rare to see even for us in Malaysia. Awesome place… Do enjoy Sabah! ❤

    This place is like Cameron Highlands and Sabah is culturally different from the peninsula, it is suitable for tourists who like nature and the beauty of the island

      @@TheBackpackingFamily Sabah has the most islands in Malaysia, however many of them are isolated and hardly visited by tourists.

    U are very lucky to see a Rafflesia in bloom... Not easy to find. I am Malaysian and I have never seen a real one in my life too, only in pics. 😂

    I’m from west Malaysia and I love visiting Sabah and Sarawak. We have a phrase here .. it’s same same but not the same. That’s my feeling when I go there. The diving js a lot of fun too. And so many different tribes there. 😊

    Pamelo is a family of citrus fruits and its quite expensive here in KL.Normally we just peel off the thick skin and eat the juicy fruits.Keep it chilled in the fridge and eat.Super delicious.

    Sabah is a wonderful place with culture, mountain & island never let you disappoinment . Have u visit Sabah tea garden & kampung Launti fish spa? Remember to visit Tanjung Aru during sunset. Mantanani island, Bohey Dulang, Mabul island are very beautiful, Tip of Broneo , tribe village, Gaya street Sunday morning market you can find a lot of special things . Take care , enjoy & stay safe

    Sabah & Sarawak offer a whole experience with thick green jungles iso concrete jungles wíth great fauna & flora. Orang Hutan, Proboscis Monkey, Rafflesia flower amongst others to see in the flesh. Happy holidays to your family.👁️👁️🙉🏵️🦧🐒🐗⛰️🍄👍🏞️

      Thank you, it is Sepilok in Sandakan - about 8 hours from KK, but the only two places you can see them now are are this one and Sarawak :)

      We didn't run into any problems, but Pete is pretty good at sticking to the rules - we always check flight zones ect 😊

      @@TheBackpackingFamily you make like 6-8 superficial vertical cuts around the fruit. Then you peel off the spongy outer skin. Remove as much skin as possible. Then you can take out each segment, so the juice is contained and not leak out as what happened the way you did it in the video

      DE Rantau Nomad Pass is a type of Professional Visit Pass newly designed to allow qualified foreign digital nomads to travel and work in Malaysia for up to 12 months which can be renewed for another 1-year.
      The main pass holder is also allowed to bring in his/her spouse and child/children.
