Great video! Loved that show. Looking forward to your Vertigo video! Your Michael Jackson scene reminded me of the Mystery Spot. Always enjoy your videos and light hearted comments.
Another excellent video, Stanley! I’ve never heard of this show, but I’ll definitely check it out. Also, I know Lindsey, so it’s awesome to see her getting a shout out. Can’t wait for the Vertigo movie filming locations!
Another great video. Good job. I loved that tv show and have had this on my list forever but never go. Can’t wait for your Vertigo video. That’s my favorite movie. I think I’ve hit ever site.
Thanks! With the muted colors and all the trees you can easily drive right by and never notice it. Very cool you’ve been to all the vertigo sites .. that video will happen.
Good job with finding and filming those locations! Hey, and good job giving some credit at the end! I remember watching Too close For Comfort sometimes in the 80s. Not very often though. I watched a lot of sitcoms in the 80s and Too Close For Comfort just wasn't as funny to me as some of the other options. Funny, I've been to so many Vertigo filming locations (some of them with you) that in my mind I feel like I have memories of already watching your Vertigo Filming Locations video.
Yeah we went to the vertigo day and probably a few others - but now I just have to film them lol Yeah, there were so many good sitcoms in the 80’s that TCFC couldn’t compete with.
Your research is always impressive Stanley! We are looking forward to your Vertigo filming locations post, we know it takes a lot of time and effort and appreciate your hard work
I remember that house when it was Red, later it was painted a different color. That Hospital they went to was Franklin Hospital, now Sutter. That entrance they drove into is on Dubose between Castro and Noe, rjust a few blocks from the House..
Omg! Your right! I just looked it up on google maps. I wish i had more time to get everything figured out before I had to go to SF. That hospital is less than a half mile from their duplex! Monroe took the long route through California st lol. Thanks for the information!
Personally, I feel there are never too many trees. They make walking in shade much more comfortable and make a neighborhood picturesque. The problem is that many cities plant Fichus tress, and they tend to push up the sidewalks with their roots. There was a plan to remove the Fichus tress on East Colorado here in Pasadena, but the residents fought against it and won. It would have made East Colorado look so ugly and barren. Also, did you ever notice that the layout of the interior of the San Francisco house never matched the exterior?
Hey Peter, I’m usually pro-tree. They can help me find locations and show the passing of time - but this time they were blocking everything lol Yes the ones that chew up the sidewalk can be very annoying.
Stanley, hate to say but I never heard of the show, BUT as always, your videos are a great watch with lots of information. Ted Knight had a way with humor while being the serious guy. I did watch the Ted Knight Show, and even went to a few tapings, RIP Ted. Ah...... The 80's --- best decade for movies and music.
Great production quality. Can't wait for the Vertigo episode.
Thanks! Yes I’ll need to take week off or so and just spend the whole week in the city making that … it will happen!
Stanley, your Filming Location Videos are the absolute cream of the crop on TH-cam ! Wishing you a MILLION SUBSCRBERS !!!!!!!
Thanks so much! That would be amazing! Thanks for the support!
Thanks, Stanley! 🌟 I used to love that show. 🔸 And you really are so good at this stuff!
Thank you, it was a fun and busy day in the city 😅

Loved this show back in the day! Great job kind sir!
Thanks! I had to rewatch a lot of it. The cast I remembered. It’s all on Tubi for free 👍🏻
@@StanleyFoss Great! Thanks for letting me know where to find it again! 🤘😁
CPMC Davies Campus is the Hospital specifically if you go off Duboce to ICU area. You'll see same building
Thanks! Yes a couple other people pointed that out for me. I want to make a follow up now. 😅
I loved that show.... one of my favorites. You did a great job with the locations!
Thanks! It was a busy day 😅

I was thinking that also - it’s like the mystery spot on those hills! Thanks for the comment!

Yeah Lindsey’s site is excellent and always well researched. Vertigo video will happen 👍🏻

Stanley, another awesome video! Your edits and content inspire me to get more creative on my channel! Thanks
Glad to hear it, thanks! It’s a lot of work but the little bit of extra effort makes it more fun when I go to edit. Thanks!
Production always great always get excited when I see your notification pop up

Love the videos especially the Rocketeer videos. Love the two hot daughters too!
Thank you! We have the same taste lol
Nice

Thanks rusty! It was fun rewatching the show on Tubi . They have the whole series. All I really remembered was the cast so it was a good watch.
This is fantastic
Thank you! 🙏🏻

@@StanleyFoss They took the scenic route, makes for good TV
I think the hospital is at Castro and Duboce Streets San Francisco, CA, 94114 Part of Sutter Health
Yes! Someone else in the comments recognized it also. It’s so close to the family home lol 🤦🏻♂️ now I know!
@@StanleyFossFYI I found it by taking a screen grab of the hospital in the video and using Google search to find it.

I should have done that. I’ve used that on the past . Good find
I’ve been having Stanley withdrawals ! Where have you been? ❤❤❤ Great video as always! Amazing research !
Haha , thank you! Yes it’s been a couple months - busy with work/life stuff, but more videos on the way :)
I watched as kid, never sure why. Because it was filmed basically where I lived? It was funny. But I now am sure it was the two reasons.😅
Haha true! 🤣🤣
Apparently Ted Knight was roughly 57 or 58 in season 2 (but looked older) when Muriel got pregnant. My math puts her at about 45-46.
His white hair really aged him, and yeah Muriel getting pregnant at 45/46 is pretty rare. It was an odd story choice 🤔

@@StanleyFoss I agree, they can sometimes ruin a good shot.
Relax.

@@StanleyFoss Sorry S, I'm new to this World Wide Web and was raised better.
Wait a minute I thouht Marty McFly lived in Mill Valley.
While in Mill Valley, you say African American history and you showed a painting, that’s Marsha P. Johnson. She’s known for LGBT history.
Oh really?!? I should have read that mural lol
Thanks for the insights 👍🏻
@@StanleyFoss Yup. it's because of Martha P. Washinton is why we have Gay Pride.

Whoa so cool you went to a couple of takings! Yes Ted Knight was a good straight man; perfect for bouncing jokes off of.
@@StanleyFoss Ted's humor always reminded me of English "England" humor but without the accent. lol
@@jetsons101 Yes, kind of a dry humor. I see it.
@@StanleyFoss Dry is kind of a understatement. It was akin to the Sahra Desert.... lol
