Thanks Chad for the 47RE videos! I just bought my grandfather's '99 Ram 2500 2wd reg cab 24v with only 108k miles. It's the first truck I ever drove as a kid and I'm going to rebuild the trans before adding modest power. I just bought the ATSG myself and will continue to follow along your build!
Thanks for some in depth 47re build vids man I just started my frame off of my 2001 2500 will be done the body soon and not quite sure what to do with trans. These vids are very helpful
Another great video Chad. 👍 Your shop made tools seem to be working very well. It looked like it kept the snap ring encapsulated so it didn't get away. I was wondering how you got the bushing pressed on down where you wanted it too. Using the old bushing was what came to mind for me too. That's how I seat timken bearing race's. .

Your welcome the 2wd will be the same but the extension housing will be the only differance. Thanks for watching!

Thank you sir! Yes I used the old bushing also the pvc tools seem to be working. LoL
What size frictions and steels do you use
Not sure it was what was in the kit from Fire Punk
If you have the right thickness steels then you can put 5 with the regular reaction plate and 6 with the machined plate
What did you end up pushing the bushing the rest of the way down with and did it in fact go all the way down to that line
The old bushing. Lol yes it did go down to the line.
What size is the PVC you made the press tool out of?
3” and 4”
@@ChadMyers73 Thank you and keep the good vids man
