Fun fact about the Periphery 2 record. Spencer, the vocalist, was upset over people criticizing the band's use of some autotune in the first record so he decided to do this entire album without any tuning at all. His performances on Masamune and Muramasa are incredible with that knowledge in mind.
@@CompendiumVril Love those songs. That whole album was weird for me, cuz nothing stuck out on first listen except Marigold (which instantly blew me away with how good those melodies and harmonies are), but on the next listen the chorus of Catch Fire just absolutely H I T right. And Lune is just beautiful too.
I would like to recommend "MARIGOLD" or "THE BAD THING". Still very technical but much more conventioal style songs. Also "SCARLET" would be a great one as well.
Awesome video🔥 You guys should check out “Language I: Intuition” by The Contortionist, I think you guys would love it, it’s somewhere on the spectrum between Deftones and Periphery lol
I call this theatrical metal. Gotta be in a mood to listen to something like this. Sometimes I just wanna hear a song not a whole musical composition lol
I totally get what youre saying, Periphery's music is a little disjointed and all over the place, where you'd have some amazing parts but some parts that seem like flashy wankery, and they all don't really fit together seamlessly. Its like a basketball player that has 10 insane highlights a game but doesn't play overall winning ball e.g. Russel Westbrook
Periphery has a new song called “Wildfire” with a nice jazz break and saxophone!
I can believe it!
spoilers SPOILERS, HOW DARE YOU!!!

😯
This is one of the best Songs from them. So cool and uplifting :D
I think "Catch Fire" would be a PERFECT Periphery song for you guys to listen to next.
Or "Lune." Based on your guys' tastes I think these would be the best suggestions.

Marigold is STILL one of their best songs in my opinion
In my opinion its their worst xD but thats the beauty of having different taste
Agree on those first two, very accessible (as far as periphery goes), but still really solid.
The bad thing is their best
Words can say put the reaction can't lie!!
PERIPHERY - Habitual Line-Stepper - Please react to this one. It's some of their older work but still very much underrated!

I absolutely agree with this recommendation! The contortionist are always a pleasure to hear and this would be a great intro to them!
Hope they do this I'm sure they will love it
You guys should check out their music video for MakeTotalDestroy! That one is awesome.
I think you guys are ready for haunted shores
Side project from Marc and Misha 2/3 guitarist in the band
I wish I could listen to something without getting enjoyment from imagining playing it. That's where I default often.
Reptile let's goooooooo!
10:30, funny I know exactly what part!
Enjoyable reaction, very honest 👌
Periphery is already amazing but throw Guthrie Govan in the mix and you have a song for the ages!🤩
If possible, check out Fleshwater - The Razor's Apple
I think it'd blow yall away
GUTHRIE GOVAN!
