- Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs came back from being down ten points at halftime to win Super Bowl 57 vs. the Philadelphia Eagles. They are only the second team to win the Super Bowl after being down double digits at halftime. Mahomes led a scoring drive on every possession for the Chiefs in the second half. This performance by Mahomes was a Tom Brady memorial game. He made no mistakes, didn’t force anything, and did everything asked of him to win the game. He didn’t need to throw for 500 yards because he didn’t need to. He took what the defense gave him and played a fantastic game hence why his QBR was a 96. He played a dare I say almost a perfect game

Bills Fan. We choked against the Bengals, however I didn't believe in the Bengals after losing to the RAMS. We beat KC this season and it was CLOSE. The Eagles had the easiest schedule in the NFL.. I didn't think nor will I think Jalen Hurts is better than Patrick Mahomes.. As a Bills Fan I only SEE the Chiefs as competition.. eerie that the first Bills v Bengals game got canceled especially for what it got canceled by. Chiefs were banged up because BILLS did that. The Eagles played keepaway for most of the game controlling time of possession. It's not like Mahomes had a lot of time or possessions to throw for a bunch of yards. And Mahomes wasn't going to throw for a lot on the last drive since the Chiefs were in control and content to burn as much clock as possible until they could get a score to take the lead.
They controlled time of possession largely because mahomes played bad in the first half.
He had two drives in the second quarter that combined for 8 total yards. You aren’t going to have much T.O.P. if you can’t get a first down.
