In short, he changed it up adapting, and realized the formula for success is a great team working together rather than a collection of glory hogs trying to make it about themselves. The Eagles played keepaway for most of the game controlling time of possession. It's not like Mahomes had a lot of time or possessions to throw for a bunch of yards. And Mahomes wasn't going to throw for a lot on the last drive since the Chiefs were in control and content to burn as much clock as possible until they could get a score to take the lead.
They controlled time of possession largely because mahomes played bad in the first half. He had two drives in the second quarter that combined for 8 total yards. You aren’t going to have much T.O.P. if you can’t get a first down.

The passing yards is not on him playing bad. Pacheco was running the ball well and even scored. And the defense scored off a fumble that gave Eagles more time of possession. That's why Patrick stats look miniscule.

In addition to me knowing you didn’t watch the game is because the chiefs defense couldn’t stop the eagles defense on third and fourth downs. Also the eagles bled the clock down to under 5 seconds a lot in the first half.

It’s funny how a lot of people picked the Bills in the preseason to get to the Super Bowl and when the Bengals took them out then people started going for the Bengals and when the chiefs took them out people started going for the Eagles in the Super Bowl.
Bills Fan. We choked against the Bengals, however I didn't believe in the Bengals after losing to the RAMS. We beat KC this season and it was CLOSE. The Eagles had the easiest schedule in the NFL.. I didn't think nor will I think Jalen Hurts is better than Patrick Mahomes.. As a Bills Fan I only SEE the Chiefs as competition.. eerie that the first Bills v Bengals game got canceled especially for what it got canceled by. Chiefs were banged up because BILLS did that. Eagles had the better team in my honest opinion, however like I said, they did not play ANYONE.

The Eagles played keepaway for most of the game controlling time of possession. It's not like Mahomes had a lot of time or possessions to throw for a bunch of yards. And Mahomes wasn't going to throw for a lot on the last drive since the Chiefs were in control and content to burn as much clock as possible until they could get a score to take the lead.
They controlled time of possession largely because mahomes played bad in the first half.
He had two drives in the second quarter that combined for 8 total yards. You aren’t going to have much T.O.P. if you can’t get a first down.
