      integrity of the league is tarnished. This SB was marked for the chiefs and the eagles staff understood the assignment. They are now building pat's legacy. Eagle's laid back and didn't come after a hobbled qb!! Hu??? Sat back in zone the majority of the game and got picked a part!! Hu?? So professional coaches can't do any better?? Rigged!!! @John M It's hard to understand why it's rigging when the Ref makes a legit holding call only because it was made in the last minutes of the 4th Qtr. I remember Chiefs defender lining up offside in an AFC Championship in the last minutes of the game costing us a Championship a few years ago. Nobody blamed the Refs far calling him offside which gave opposing team a new set of downs and they lost the game. Now we mad at the Refs for making the right call only because it's at an inconvenient time. We have a Rule book for a reason. Even the Eagles aren't mad at the Ref... they are instead saying the correct things like we are going to learn from this experience, and that is why they will eventually lift the Lombardi Trophy 🏆... and I hope Jalen and the Eagles get their ring. Next time I guarantee you they will not lose a big game because of a legit penalty. They will remember and work on a better strategy.

      There was many, MANY penalties overlooked on both sides. Eagles were more penalized than the chiefs. The refs set the tone. They were going to let them play ball. I was all for that. Let them play. But, ALL OF A SUDDEN a ticky tacky barely a hold within 5 yards of the line of scrimmage and doesn’t impede his progress warranted a flag. A late flag. As soon as you saw it was overthrown, out came a flag. Best superbowl in history ruined and a tainted win for the chiefs.

      Chiefs fan here. Didn't see a lot of Eagles games this year, but they were impressive throughout the playoffs and especially yesterday. I think the field kept both teams from getting more pressure/sacks on QBs. I'm glad nobody got hurt due to it. The two sacks on Hurts were phantom sacks. Hurts stood up to the pressure and looked like he belonged there. He will be a force for years to come. His accuracy was obvious throughout the game and Brown/Smith/Goedert are about the best trio in the league. Sirianni started the game with tears during the anthem and all the Chiefs fans I watched with thought that was pretty cool. He turned up the heat in the first half where he pretty much outcoached Andy. The second half flipped the script and Andy, who has had time-management issues that have cost both teams (ever heard "that's on me, that's something I gotta work on"?), called a nearly flawless second half. Yes, the holding call was unfortunate, but it was a hold. Bradberry's post-game interview was about as humble and honest of one as you'll ever see. Sirianni's post-game comments were equally magnanimous and classy. The Eagles were gracious in defeat in a way that Travis Kelce should study whether he wins or loses. Great game. Would love to see a rematch next year.

He said before the game, the difference between this Super Bowl and the others is that he's learned to trust his teammates and do what it takes to win and not force things trying to be Superman. He "only" threw for 182 yards because that's all he had to do. Pacheco was on Red Bull the entire game getting chunk play after chunk play. Mahomes let him cook and made plays when he needed to.

      However to your point, Mahomes was sensational as a qb, team leader, and inspirational player...

    Let us not forget Mahomes was on 3rd down for his TD to Sky Moore. They set up in the wrong formation and Mahomes winged it. Them scoring a field goal there instead would have put them up by 4 instead of 8 giving the ball back to Philadelphia with a few minutes to go. Mahomes was perfect in the second half and he had to be to comeback and win. 🥳🏈🤙

    The Eagle's OL was totally dominant during the first half, and owned KC's DL. The Eagles went for it on 4th down consistently with impunity, and I have never seen a DL blown out like the Eagles did the KC DL. Philadelphia was clearly the more complete team on offense the showed a mastery at ball control in the first half, but the difference in the game was coach Andy Reid. KC totally deconstructed the Eagle's defense in the second half and made the Eagles pay. Coach Reid has probably forgotten more football than the entire Eagle's coaching staff knows.

    Nobody talking about the catch fumble TD that got called back

    • @jari32
      @jari32 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      To be fair, that was legit. The player has to make a football move for it to be considered a fumble. It is an incomplete pass.
      I think the issue here with the holding call was that there was more blatant holding calls in earlier parts of the game that the Refs didn't call. But in the final two minutes; the Ref called a "ticky tock" (that's what they called it) hold call that decided the game.
