Hey, love your videos! Do you have any information about added fees for extra services/amenities? I know you mentioned jet skis and parasailing, and I assume spa services. But do you know about kid activities or food or drinks or anything like that?

Never been to an Iberostar! Although we would prefer adults only I’m impressed!
Is there COVID testing availability ( pcr) free or fee ?
They do have an adults only property right beside where we stayed! It looks amazing and you can still have access to all these other sister properties :) It’s called Iberostar Grand. And when we were there we did not test, we went right before that started. However a lot of these resorts are offering free testing,
just check their website and it should tell you.

We always use Happy Shuttle or Canada transfers! We book on their website about a week or so before we leave. Hope you guys have the best time!!!

I seen a video of yours where you stayed at Barcelo Riviera Maya grand for a few days, which do you like best this resort or Barcelo? I'm going to this resort (Lindo)in January and been to the Barcelo 3 times and loved it.
Even though we loved Iberostar, Barcelo has a little more to offer I think! Both are great tho!

They were definitely chilly lol since the other properties were closed we did not have a chance to see if the other pools were heated.

Thank you so much for the info. We will be staying at the Lindo in April. I was curious how it would work with the pandemic, this was very informative. Can you tell me how you book the restaurants ahead of time? Is there a number to call?
We emailed about a week before we stayed for our reservations but I have heard since then they have stopped that for some reason? Maybe try and call the front desk directly and maybe they can let you know for sure though! Typically the numbers are on their website.
Is this your favorite for families? We are still deciding between punta cana and Cancun for June 2022 and we are obsessed with all of your videos! We have 4 kids ranging from age 6 to 20. Criteria is on the beach, some type of water park, and decent restaurants. That's it. Somewhere close to swim with dolphins would be awesome. I feel so overwhelmed! Your videos have been so super helpful, thank you so much for taking the time to do these ♥️
Its a great resort for sure but we recently went to Barcelo Riviera Maya and LOVED that one! I have a vlog on that from when we went in June with our 3 kids :)

I'm looking at going in March bringing my 13 and 15 year old daughters, I 'm trying to decide what resort to chose I'm also looking at the Barcelo Maya Beach. I know you've been to both which do you prefer?
Aghh that’s such a tough choice! I love both properties but I do think Barcelo have more amenities then Iberostar and I loved the pier at Barcelos beach that you could snorkel right off of. Either way you will have a great time!!!
How did toy make dinner reservations ?
Did you guys notice any snorkeling spots on property during your stay? I know you had found one at the Barcelona Maya Tropical.
There is a Dressel Divers on site at this Paraiso location where you can book a snorkeling trip and you hop in a boat and they take you to a snorkeling site about 15 minutes out. It costs about $55 per person.
Hi! I’m so torn between this resort and Barcelo. I’m liking the look of the food choices and evening entertainment at this one. Does Barcelo have a lot of food choices like coffee shop/ ice cream and the bakery bit? Also the evening entertainment doesn’t look very good there looks loads better here!
Barcelo has a mall with nightlife and a casino plus the evening shows kind of like Iberostar! I would say the food is a little better at Iberostar but we LOVED the beach at Barcelo, especially the pier that you can snorkel right off of! They are both great resorts! It’s a tough decision lol
@@HeatherStylesXO thank you ! Yeah I’m loving the look of the beach and all the water sports activities. It’s just the food that lets it down my kids love to eat so was hoping for ice cream/snack bars that sort of thing but I guess you can’t have it all haha!
Hi Heather, I watched many of your videos about yours stayes at the rivera maya. we also tried many of the resorts and staied many times at the barcelo maya palace and just 2 times at the iberostar maya/lindo. can you tell me which resort would you vote as your favorite resort at the rivera maya and what your second one ?
As of now we loved Breathless Riviera Cancun and Hotel Xcaret the most! We are fixing to travel to El Dorado Casitas so I will have a review on that very soon! It may be a new fav!

I am torn between here and Barcelo. It will just be us adults so I was wondering if at either one of these resorts has dancing as far as music choices like by the pool and maybe a club for the night!

If you stay at the maya you can go to all the restaurants except for the grand which is adults only

Hey there 👋 Do you know what is the difference between Paraiso Maya and Paraiso Lindo (besides the price)? Want to go there but can't see the difference, the Paraiso Maya is more expensive.
Paraiso Maya is VIP the other one is for poor people

Yes Mexico has been hit hard with it the last few months. It’s very hit or miss each daily depending on how the wind is blowing . Some days not much others you can’t get in!

I just wanted to confirm with you that you emailed the resort ahead of your trip to book your restaurant choices? I saw another vlogger who was told at arrival that everything was booked up. They had to eat at the buffet everyday.
Yes I emailed the resort about a week before we arrived and scheduled all the restaurants that we wanted. When we checked in she said everything was booked up but then told her I emailed and she found our reservations I made thankfully!

Were you approached while there with workers trying to sell you timeshares,I've read alot of comments about that on there FB page and do you prefer Barcelo Riviera Maya grand or this place more? I never went here but Love Barcelo.
Not here no. We always are very firm and say we are not interested because we always like to try new resorts for my reviews!

Which did you like better....iberostar or barcelo?
I would say Barcelo because they have more amenities but we did love Iberostar too.
Do you go through a travel booking company or do you do it yourself?
We used a travel agent last year right when covid was hot because we aware afraid of cancellations but we always use Expedia or booking.com now! Travel agents always quote me higher then what I can find on those sites.

Which resort do you recommend for family. Barcelo maya palace, tropical or iberostar selection Paraiso maya suites?
Such a hard choice 🙈 but ultimately…I think I would go with Barcelo personally. The beach and pier was awesome to have and I loved the pools were all right next to the ocean! It was beautiful there!

@@Pattonlaff check out my video on Barcelo! We took our kids and they loved it. Food was good…not the best we have ever had but not bad by any means! Lots of choices there so even my picky kids found options! I would deff go back!

It depends on what you are looking for. Iberostar had a much softer sand beach however barcelo wasn’t bad but if you are more into snorkeling barcelo is the place for you.

When do you reserve the restaurants?
We emailed the week before and requested certain days! If we would have waited to book when we checked in we would not have been able to eat at very many because they were already full.

Seem old hotel but good price for families, keep in my list for August
The rooms are nice but yes a little dated. However as long as they get cold, beds are soft and are clean we are good with it! lol We are never in the rooms very much!

how far is this resort from cancun airport?
About 20-30 minutes with no traffic.
Was your total cost for the flight, transportation, the room, fees and taxes reasonable? Could you give me a ballpark figure?

We are headed here tomorrow and our total cost for the resort for 2 adults and 1 child for 5 nights was $2000. We used points for the flights.

Do you tip on vacation?
Yes absolutely!!! They worked so hard for very little…always tip ❤️
here now. Like you said, they do have this absurd joke where they want you to wear a mask into buffet and while getting food, but overall no nagging. We don't wear one walking around the resort, but if a few others want to, good for them. I wore my single ply fakemask in the fitness center, no one cared. No strict mask police here, which is good. Had buffet dinner last night and we thought it was good. We've done more cruises than resorts, but I'd say it was on a par with the cruises. Room a/c works well. Not a fan of the European style '3/4 shower', with no good shower door, but it's ok, we can deal with it for a week.
How was the wifi?
Fine for us! My kids did their homework at nights on it.
Any lobsters in seafood restaurant?
At most resorts, Lobster is typically an extra cost to upgrade! We did it at a different resort and it was around $30pp so not too bad.
Any skinny dippin'?

No it wasn’t in January when we were there and according to the resort group Facebook page, they still have not opened up their mall area that has the casino and nightclub 😕
Those who have ears to hear let them hear In this comment section there is probably one lost sheep that needs to be found there is this whole in your heart you tried many times and many things and many ways to fill it but you couldn’t and it kept getting bigger you would be around multiple people and still feel lonely but let me tell you JESUS is the one who can fill that whole in your heart JESUS is that missing piece you’ve been looking for that peace that’s never ending that true love and joy and happiness it’s in JESUS not if this world but if the kingdom of heaven and if you want to accept him in your heart all you have to do is believe in the gospel A-admit that you’re a sinner and that you need forgiveness, B-Believe that JESUS CHRIST died for your sins and rose again, and C-Confess your faith in JESUS CHRIST and his lordship over your life and you will be saved and this amazing feeling is not a drug it won’t last a couple hours but forever eternally bc it is not of this world but of GOD who sits on the throne of heaven forever and ever HALLELUJAH ✝️❤️😇
I just checked in and this place is a dump. I have stayed at better motel 6s. The bathroom is so dirty feels like someone has just used it. You were not impressed by moon palace and I have been there. The water here is incredibly bad. I have no words to say how bad.
I actually loved moon palace so not sure where you got that! And I showed the rooms in this vlog so it would help people have a better idea…they are not brand new but ours was nice and clean. Maybe you should call room service and have them come clean it ? Also in this vlog it shows the ocean being gorgeous but it also depends on when you go, if it’s been raining etc.
