"I got the poo on me!" Fun Fact: Kid Rock's real name is Robert Ritchie. Casting Notes Fact: Blake Clark reprises his role as the mush-mouthed Farmer Fran from The Waterboy (1998). Location Location Fact: Jill's (Jamie Pressly) cabin used in the movie is the same cabin used on the outskirts of town in Black Sheep (1996), another movie starring David Spade. Hot Dog Fact: The scene where Joe (David Spade) gets pelted with hot dogs was originally much longer, but negative responses from test audiences, who by that point in the movie had grown attached to the character and hated seeing him being abused so much, caused it to be shortened. Deep Cut Reference Fact: The list of names Joe Dirt (David Spade) reads on the tour bus are the same as the ones a teacher called for attendance in Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986). When the hot air balloon comes down near the oil derrick, a sign with "Scotch Oil" on it is seen. Scotch Oil was the name of Chris Farley's family oil business in Wisconsin. Automobile Enthusiast Fact: The convertible "Hemi" used in the movie is a 1967 Plymouth GTX. The hardtop that Joe Dirt drove throughout most of the movie is a replica of a 1969 Dodge Daytona, a limited production car built for only one year during the muscle car era of the late sixties and early seventies. Only five hundred three of the real Daytonas were ever built.
Bro 😂 Comedies are your wheelhouse! Your laugh is so infectious. You gotta react to more comedies like this! Would love to see you do the American Pie movies
DOA: Dead or Alive was such an awful movie, but the scene where they are climbing the tower and Devon Aoki stuck her hand down the back of Jaime's low rise hip hugger jeans and dragged them down about two inches to use Jaime as a ladder was unbelievably hot. I've seen Jaime in Poison Ivy 2, and that two second scene with Devon treating Jaime's entire body like a rock climbing wall, weird positions and all, was still better.
This is one of those classics that more people really should know. I'm really glad that you watched it with us...thanks! "What if I am? What if we're his family?" Great way to close out the movie.
One of my all-time favorite comedies, no matter how many times I rewatch it, I crack up. Hilarious lines, great characters, and a surprisingly solid moral story.

Christopher Walken said he basically recreated the Frank White character he played a decade earlier in 'King of New York for this role. As for his dancing abilities, he trained as a dancer before going on to acting....I'll never forget his Fatboy Slim music video.
The name that Christopher Walken changed his name to in Silvertown is a real person. Gert B. Frobe is the real name of the bad guy in the James Bond film Goldfinger
Back when this movie came out, I was in the military, we all watched it on training deployment, my name is Joe…immediately changed to Dirty Joe Dirt afterwards. LOL. Said that, I too, dated women way out of me league…and ended up marrying one.
The woman that plays Brandy is also in a movie called Club Dread, which is made by the same guys that did Super Troopers. Great movie and I'd love to see you react to it.
Hi J I am so happy you watched Joe Dirt . I have not seen Joe Dirt in years but your reactions and comments here are above Par man... I really had a good time watching Joe Dirt in your channel. I could watch this on repeat.... that moment Joe found out what his parents did and you had his back the whole way. When you said you would burn down their trailer I was balling happy tears so much . I can not begin to imagine how the actors did some of those scenes without breaking character . This was so good and Joe won over a lot of friends and even got a family out of all of the mess he went through. Thank you J . You bring so much happiness I hope that you and your adorable co. piolets are having a great night .
I just have to stop and say that I love watching your reactions. You have a great laugh and the comments are hilarious. Never change 😁 Really, you always help improve my mood. Thank you.

i never really thought that much of this movie, but when i saw the thumbnail, i decided to watch anyway cause lets face it, we're all here to see the big man giggle.
I swear what I am about to type is 100% true. Right before I watched this reaction, I listened to Joe The Singing Janitor by Junior Brown. Coincidence? I had a hard time watching this because I was laughing so hard I couldn't see through my tears. This was a lot of fun. One of my favorite podcasts is Superfly with Dana Carvey and David Spade. If i said you had a beautiful body would you hold it against me is a old country song. I grew up listening to it. One of my dad's favorite songs an favorite pick up line haha
I know this is a comedy but, this movie always lifts me up. It shows that sometimes good things do happen to good people. Right now, I think a lot of people need to hold on to that.
No matter what has been released on TH-cam on any given day, I will watch a reactor I like watch "Joe Dirt" for the first time. Something about the title, poster, or IDK gives people a glass half empty impression of this movie before watching it. Most of those people have an excellent experience when actually watching the movie. Gotta take what life gives you.
27:33 😂 funny you mention that because Christopher Walken, Natalie Wood and her husband went out on a boat together in 1981. Three went out and only two came back. The corner that examined Natalie Wood’s body said she more than likely drowned due to intoxication, but we all known that Christopher Walken probably stabbed her in the face with a soldering iron for talking to his guy the wrong way lol😂
One of my first memories is watching this film with my family when I was like 3 or 4. I loved it then and love it now. David Spade was cookin with this script.
This was one of the hundreds of movies with a line my best friend and I would scream at each other in the halls, then get detention for it: "It puts the lotion on! You have no idea what kind of HELL I CAN BRING YOU!!!" 🤣🤣🤣

Same. I was like "I don't think I've ever heard him say that", then just died laughing at his reaction to the septic tank.
He said it about Hank in the Me, Myself & Irene reaction but not with such emphasis :D
i remember one other reaction he did but its not often XD

That dude that played the man Joe fought at the oil rig is Tyler Mane, who plays Michael Myers in the Rob Zombie Halloween movies.
And Sabertooth in the first X-Men, as well as in Deadpool & Wolverine which J also watched recently. Didn't realize he played Myers in those though!
Was sabertooth an big skye as a wrestler in wcw
