What if the relationship would have gone better with time? What if he would have managed to change? What if what behaved in another way? Stuff like that. Don’t listen to these questions. Please. You made this step and I guess it has been very hard and thought through. Releasing yourself of a toxic relationship needs a lot of courage and strength and you really can be proud of that. Unfortunately I have experienced two of these relationships and I got back with one of my partners after having split up. Things don’t change. Abusive and toxic behaviour doesn’t change only because you beg for it. No, stuff like that does not change, no matter how you behave. You do you and yes, distraction is important. It for sure will get better with time and one day, you will really feel released and being yourself again. You will know for sure, that you don’t need him and that you deserve better than that. Wish you all the best!

Jaclyn, thank you so much for opening up. I was standing in Ulta one day, shortly after your morphe pallet had been released. I had the money and I had the desire to buy it. I picked it up, held it, and put it back down, never bought it. I walked out of the store. See..the thing was, I was in a very toxic, abusive relationship. I knew that if I spent the money on that beautiful pallet I was in for hell when he found out. I wish I could say I left him shortly after that but that would be a lie. I stayed with him until my children became at risk. And then we left. We left him, our home, our dogs, and moved 6 hours away. It was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do, but my children and I were worth it. Life is a struggle for sure right now but I have my determination and it will get better. I really admire you and how far you’ve come. Keeping being awesome!

Her answer touched me so much!! I was in a really toxic relationship when i was younger and it was SO hard to realize that it is NOT normal nor okay to fight with your partner all the time. It is exhausting and painful, and there are way better things for you out there! After that ended for me i spent weeks crying after realizing i wasted so much time on a horrible relationship that didn't make me happy. There's someone ot there who will!! No time to waste :)
Kawaii Ayase I was raised in a very angry home. My parents fought all the time, father has horrible anger management issues. I am not like them, my husband and I coexist with love and respect for each other and I could never be what my parents were. Some people just let it all go and live their life. It can be “re-taught” . Kindness comes naturally

The way you described when you know you’re in a toxic relationship was A1. I was with my “HS Sweetheart” for nearly half my life (I’m 29 now) we were together 13 years. We got to a point where we fought about every little thing. God also sent me an Angel after we broke up and I’m now with a MAN who treats me the way I should have always been treated. Since him I now have self love. I've been with my husband 15 years now, celebrating 10 years married this December. When you talked about toxic relationships it really rings true. Before my husband I only ever knew the rollercoaster, always feeling like if I didn't do x, y, or z that they would leave. Feeling insecure, normalizing and eventually believing that I would never find something more, because when it was good it was great. So then it became almost looking forward to the lows so we could make up and experience the highs... anyway, when I met my husband I experienced calm for the first time. I didn't feel like I was constantly fighting to keep someone, constantly fighting to make things work. If you leave a relationship after genuinely trying, you aren't giving up, you can mutually decide that you care about each other (or cared about each other at one point) enough that you both deserve a chance to find happiness again.
I LOVE this video. I deal with anxiety/depression as well and seeing someone as famous as you be so REAL is so inspiring and makes me not feel alone! Dish soap. I place it on the palm of my hand wet it slightly and swirl the brush in the soap on your hand and push the bristles up while rinsing until it’s clear and repeat until it’s clean. Also they sell sprays that you spray on and wipe your brushes on a rag or paper towel until clean
Its really easy but depending on the amount of brushes it can be time consuming. Castille soap, unscented. Would you wash your face with dish soap??? Probably not. I put a little bit of soap in a jar with a little bit of hot water and a bit of rubbing alcohol (to disinfect). I dont fill it because honestly i start this process because sometimes i run out of time lol. I keep the water level low to just the bristles. Mix it up. Put a few brushes in the mixture. Swirl the brushes around in the water. Take one out. Swirl in your hand, dont push down because you can ruin the shape. Rinse and repeat if necessary. When it is clean, form the bristles back to the shape and lay on a towel to dry.

I am not like them, my husband and I coexist with love and respect for each other and I could never be what my parents were. Some people just let it all go and live their life. It can be “re-taught” . Kindness comes naturally

The way you described when you know you’re in a toxic relationship was A1. I was with my “HS Sweetheart” for nearly half my life (I’m 29 now) we were together 13 years. We got to a point where we fought about every little thing. God also sent me an Angel after we broke up and I’m now with a MAN who treats me the way I should have always been treated. Since him I now have self love. It truly is amazing to come so far even after being in such a dark place when you feel at the time “this is normal, this is how it should be.” It’s amazing how everything happens for a reason it really does. xxo

I've been with my husband 15 years now, celebrating 10 years married this December. When you talked about toxic relationships it really rings true. Before my husband I only ever knew the rollercoaster, always feeling like if I didn't do x, y, or z that they would leave. Feeling insecure, normalizing and eventually believing that I would never find something more, because when it was good it was great. So then it became almost looking forward to the lows so we could make up and experience the highs... anyway, when I met my husband I experienced calm for the first time. I didn't feel like I was constantly fighting to keep someone, constantly fighting to make things work. If you leave a relationship after genuinely trying, you aren't giving up, you can mutually decide that you care about each other (or cared about each other at one point) enough that you both deserve a chance to find happiness again.

Sea she should do more of these. I think it makes it more entertaining for her having the questions and being a little different than her everyday videos...and it certainly is more entertaining for us, seeing her at ease and just having fun with it. I imagine getting up everyday to do the same damn thing would be just as tedious as having a 9-5 at some boring ass job. I don’t think people keep that in mind, that you can only do so many looks before you’re out of ideas.

Dish soap. I place it on the palm of my hand wet it slightly and swirl the brush in the soap on your hand and push the bristles up while rinsing until it’s clear and repeat until it’s clean. Also they sell sprays that you spray on and wipe your brushes on a rag or paper towel until clean

It’s facials and lifestyle
Its really easy but depending on the amount of brushes it can be time consuming. Castille soap, unscented. Would you wash your face with dish soap??? Probably not. I put a little bit of soap in a jar with a little bit of hot water and a bit of rubbing alcohol (to disinfect). I dont fill it because honestly i start this process because sometimes i run out of time lol. I keep the water level low to just the bristles. Mix it up. Put a few brushes in the mixture. Swirl the brushes around in the water. Take one out. Swirl in your hand, dont push down because you can ruin the shape. Rinse and repeat if necessary. When it is clean, form the bristles back to the shape and lay on a towel to dry.
I go through phases of watching jaclyn and I fall in love with her everytime. She’s such a pick me up! 🥰
