    The capacitance is computed by a MoM code I wrote on Matlab.
    Every step when the finger moves closer to the electrodes, MoM Matrix is re-constructed and solved for the charge distribution. From the charge distribution, the capacitance is then obtained.

    This is a great explanation! I'd be very interested in learning about how you visualized the electric field. Is the Matlab code you used available somewhere?
