Great Falls Park, Virginia - AMAZING Waterfalls & Hiking Trails

In this video tour, we show you the stunning Great Falls Park in Virginia, an 800-acre park only 15 miles from Washington, DC. Great Falls Park in Virginia offers majestic waterfalls, fifteen miles of hiking trails, and beautiful views of the Potomac River and Mather Gorge.
Hiking at Great Falls Park offers something for everyone. There are three spacious waterfall lookouts, two of which are wheelchair-accessible. Some of the prettiest northern Virginia hikes can be found here.
Take in the view of Great Falls Park from the opposite side of the river from C&O Canal National Historic Park in Maryland.

As a local my favorite thing about this park that nobody ever mentions is the chopper that whizzes by every so often.
It's a very high end rescue helicopter that does fly by.
Thing is sweet.

You don’t really need to take a trail to see the falls, they are one of the main attractions at the park and close to the parking area. A short walk and you’ll be able to enjoy most of them 👍🥾
