I used to be a queen of wish. Then I found Amazon. This is a awesome video. I also love the colors , My favorite color is purple. And I have everything butterfly. I was looking for a northern craft. I do diamond painting drills and I needed something else. Thank you 🦋 😊
Not only am I addicted to shopping on Amazon, my husband works for them! He’s has nothing to do with the fulfillment centers so don’t come for me if your orders are late! 🤣. I love your videos. And that cup is gorgeous.
I came across your video while searching for alcohol ink tumblers. I truly enjoyed your video. Not only was it informative but very funny as well. I laughed out loud a few times. I am definitely subscribing! Thanks for brightening my day and teaching me something!
I have learned Soo much from you!! And you never fail to make me laugh 🤣🤣. And yeah I have a BIG Amazon problem. I get a delivery everyday and it is multiple packages 😂. Thank you for sharing your great work..
What is the clear liquid you put on before the inks? I just have to say I LOVE your videos you are so funny & you make this so fun! Thank you Taylor for being fun & unique 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
What is in the "salon slant tip applicator", that you flood the tumbler with?? I'm a little surprised you didn't use an "adhesion promoter" as a primer after a light scuffing of the tumbler, since plastic is not very porous. It didn't look like you used any primer, Is that correct? How has the durability of the paint on this project hold up, no air bubbles and no paint starting to separate or peel off??
It is regular Isopropyl Alcohol in the bottle. No I didn't use any primer for this one, the plastic is more porus than metal which I usually work on and I did create a mechanicalbond from the sanding. The cup is still in great shape, but it is never really a bad idea to use an adhesion promoter on plastics and possibly a primer.
Is that resin in the slant tip bottle? If so, how do you clean that up? That would be an awesome way to apply it. BTW...I love your videos! They have been so helpful with my crafts
First I want to say, I never comment…. Like ever. Maybe 3 times on TH-cam. THANK YOU FOR ALL OF YOUR CONTENT AND BEING AN AMAZING CREATOR! Next, I didn’t see a link for the thinner or blending solution you used? 🤷♀️ I am a frequent visitor on your page looking for help with new ideas. I struggle with thinking of new ways to do cups for guys. I am in the process of trying to make a tumbler for someone using his classic cars, Chevelle and Nova. Made a visit to your page last night and I’m rolling with that base you did on the mustang tumbler, BUT my begging question/favor for you is - may we please get some more content on ways to do cups for dudes pretty please?! 🙏🏻 (no airbrush perhaps lol). Again, thank you for all your hard work on putting these videos together for us!! 💯😎
After the alcohol inks dried I seal it with Rustoleum matte clearé (or typically you could let the alcohol inks dry longer for like a day or two and not have to use the spray sealer, but I typically always seal with the matte spray sealer), then after that dries I epoxy
Could a similar method be used if you don't have a turner? Saturate the vase or tumbler with rubbing alcohol, then drip the inks onto the bottom of the object & let them run?
I bought your yellow tape from getting anything inside my tumbler. And everyone should buy it because not one tumbler I have had to clean the inside since using!
Do you finish them off with resin? I tried my first alcohol tumber and it looks like shiznit! But I did it on a matte white sprayed cup so I have learned my lesson and will do it again with a thin resin coat. Also, you still crack me the fak up! 🤣
Help…my colored alcohol inks are drying too fast. I tried flooding with 99% alcohol to start…and immediately with color. Once the white hits the tumbler it dries and flakes. I’ve washed it off 3 different times…tried 91% alcohol with the exact same results. Please help…I used 200 grit sand paper. Thanks
Wait did you say it flakes off?… I have never experienced this. I can't imagine what would make it flake off unless like what kind of alcohol are you using?
There is no epoxy on this, just started by flooding with 99% Isopropyl Alcohol and then immediately dripped the inks - that's it. Let is dry, spray seal with matte clearé, and the you can epoxy.
I bought the tumblers that you had in your link. Went through all the steps, and there was a chemical reaction. The ink started bubbling up. Had to stop and wash it off. It had a slight odor. Now the tumbler is no good. I'm sure I must have done something wrong.
@@DuncanCustomAirbrush I found out about them from Createx when I suggested it as an idea. And they were like yeah we got that and gave me the line name. It falls into the Createx wicked paint set arena.
what is in the slant tip bottle you flooded the tumbler with initially, alcohol? you showed the alcohol initially in a spray bottle, not the slant tipped one.
Finally! I’ve been waiting on tutorials with thinner, plastic or resin cups. I LOVE the way the alcohol inks just came to life!

What is in the slanted nozzle bottle that you soaked the cup in??? Is it rubbing alcohol?
yes
Awesoooome! You are flodding it with the alcohol right?
Right-o my dude!
So you Sand, alcohol, ink, let dry then epoxy? How do you apply the epoxy without the colors smearing?
