I have been to San Antonio several times and never noticed this place. Next time I go, I am looking for it. You have been visiting some great places since you started this journey. Glad to have been one of your earlier subs. One place in Texas where you should go is Port Arthur, the downtown area is like what you would see in the rust belt. It is seriously in bad shape with most buildings abandoned and falling apart.
I’m confused. I thought this video was on the brewery & I don’t know why you mixed it up with society ills or our government. It’s not like this was a nuclear or refinery plant. Lol. 😂Good video though.
Agreed, I love the shots and the cinematography but would've much rather have had more talking about the history and the place itself rather than most of the video being about the government
i told the wife last night it seems the end is near. im not much of a religious man even though i was raised catholic but it makes u question your faith in these days. we get past the ronas and now they think we might have a monkeypox out break coming?! as ive gotten older i have become more of an isolationist. maybe its not a bad idea.
Very well done video. I wonder what happened to the three foot long catfish that lived in that lake, eating their fill of tamales every time there was an event there. I seem to remember the swimming pool being used for Olympic trials at one time. You didn't happen to get any video of a giant armadillo, did you? Your timeline is a little confusing. You mention sales figures for 1918, yet state that the brewery wasn't built until 1933. You imply that prohibition caused it to shut down for good, but I know it was in operation at least through the late 1980's. There was a portion of it being leased out for artist studios as recently as ten years ago.
I only drink LONE STAR!!!! IF I WON THE LOTTERY THE LONE STAR BREWERY WOULD RE-OPEN!!!! To ship LONE STAR to Mexico and USSR.!!! They have LONE STAR at Argonaut in DENVER. And WILBUR'S in FT. COLLINS!!!!
Question what is it about meskins that they have to spray graffiti on everything that nobody understands except them ? Wonder how they would feel about somebody doing it to their property

100% agree.
i used to live across from this brewery..but i thought this video was going to be on it only, its history perhaps, and why its empty now. etc
YO I went here but security wouldn't let me in lol. I really wanted to see inside.
No security when I went. When did you go?
