Took this test a few days ago and I passed!! CHEEHOO 🤙🏾🤙🏾
Some advice:
They will make you parallel park either in the beginning or in the middle of the route
When turning right, always be more on your ride side
ALWAYS SIGNAL YOUR INTENTIONS, THIS INCLUDES PARKING
Always head check for bike lanes whenever you turn right
Stop before the line at red lights and stop signs
Don’t block intersections and crosswalks
Pedestrians always have the right of way
I studied this video, and I literally passed my road test the first try. It's the same route in real life, and fortunately for me, the weather was clear, and both car & pedestrian traffic were light. The driving instructor informed me that the best time to schedule is about mid-week, and around 12:00 - 1:00 pm. Thank you for helping me out with this video! :)

@@nalinalbia1730 No, I did not, but the weather and me being nervous was really bad. However, he told me the two things I needed to work on, in which I know the next time I’ll be ready!!! lol

2024 HERE!
I took my test in the morning yesterday and I would love to help out others. If you are able to, try schedule your appointment during a non-traffic time which is around 12pm. When you first park in the road test parking, donʻt park all the way at the end because when you reverse out, youʻll be blocking the road for the police station. Instead park more inside of the parking lot. Make sure you do all head checks especially for the bike lanes.
Another thing to remember is to never think negative. Try not to feel nervous. If thatʻs how you show up to your test, thatʻs how youʻre gonna take it and you might overthink a lot which will lead you to messing up. Even if you know you are nervous and not happy or excited, just fake it and manifest / pray for it. Speak kind affirmations to yourself for a better test.

I took my drivers test this morning and did this route. I was already driving with my license for 15 years, but was expired and because I waited too long to renew, I had to start from scratch.
Make sure to do all head checks BEFORE changing lanes. So signal to turn/change lane then head check, then proceed with the action. When coming to a stop sign make sure you come to a complete stop BEFORE the solid line. Your bumper cannot be over that solid line. So be mindful of that. Also when doing your parking make sure to do your head check before parking to look for pedestrians as well as do the head check when you are leaving that parking spot. So blinker, head check, then perform the action.

how fast was the test and headcheck meaning like look at your mirrors then blind post for everything?
@@tiffanyy.alayna4292honestly it was fast. I want to say maybe 5-8 minutes? It was so fast that when I got back to the lot everyone thought I failed 😂
@@tiffanyy.alayna4292as far as the head checks, you’re just looking over your shoulder for a second and that’s all. When you come to the stop sign it has to be 3 seconds stopped completely. They pay attention to how your car jerks when you stop. If that makes sense.

@@tiffanyy.alayna4292I just had to pull up behind a car on the street reverse a little then move forward park and put the ebrake on. That was it. Make sure you’re doing head checks for parking as well.
Took my test today, and I PASSED!!!! This route is good to study if you are scheduled to do your test at wahiawa DMV!

I took my test today (01/16/25) and had the short Asian lady with the visor hat. She had me answer a bunch of road knowledge questions before we even got to my car. While driving, she also had a demeanor where it made me feel like I was doing everything wrong. Turns out, I had ZERO deductions. She will however, have you parallel park. There was space for me to pull up and park next to the curb at the beginning, but I think she was searching for a spot for me to actually parallel park between two cars. Good luck and make sure you’re prepared for her!
What kind of questions did she ask? I'm teaching my friend to drive and I want to make sure he's prepared for everything.
@ she asked how long you’re supposed to stop at a stop sign, if you’re supposed to stop on or before the stop line, she asked what head checks are and when do you do them, if you’re able to switch lanes over a solid white line and in the middle of an intersection, and a couple of other questions.. just have her practice the routes and make sure your friend understands the rules of the road there! The instructor literally had pictures printed of the route and asked questions about it 😂 she’ll also stare at you when you’re supposed to do a head check to make sure you do them lol

Hello. I have my drivers test this week on the 9th. By any chance, when you said none of the tests required parallel parking does that mean there's no parallel parking in the test right now? I'm not sure if they require parallel parking on the test and if they do then that's okay. Thank you!
No. On some test courses you are instructed to parallel park. At the course here, everyone parked normally.@@vincelleagnoo

Did you pass? I fail 5 times here.
Honestly, I get it the first 3time fail...but last 2 time....they just wanna fail me....made all kind this and that to fail u...specially the old lady with glass! One mistake she will fail u !! Not losing points, just FAIL! If you see her as your examiner's just walk away cancel your appointment, don't waste your time.
@@gureteru22 I didn’t pass that time I commented but I did pass the time after that. Some tips I have is…
1. ALWAYS head check even if you’re not changing lanes it shows you’re being cautious
2. Know how to parallel park because you’ll be tested on that
3. When making a right turn at a red light MAKE A COMPLETE STOP FOR 3 SECONDS then go with caution, IF at a green light don’t make a complete stop but look for any other oncoming traffic and roll with caution (AGAIN do not stop completely)
4. You are allowed to go in bike lanes as long as it’s broken, BUT you need to head check. You can go into the lane once you have head checked, go as soon as you see the line is broken don’t wait till you have to turn right.
5. Make complete stops at all stop signs ANDDDDD stop lines yes stop lines. The white lines. and stop before. Don’t go to close to the line.
6. Always use your blinker, that also includes when your parking into a stall and when you’re gonna parralell park
@@milee2571 did she have kind of a high voice and wore a visor? I had that old lady she was nice to me. She would kind of guide me everytime I came up to a stop line to make sure I stopped. I didn’t pass that time I had commented but I passed the time after that. If you need tips refer to the comment i replied to, to someone else who asked. Those are tips I took in when I failed. those are correction tips!!

Changing lanes is allowed, but not for overtaking.
Does anyone know if we can get deducted for hitting curb I have my road test this thursday i’m confident in driving just not parallel parking 😅
If you hit the curb when parking, there is no point deduction. On the other hand, if you are too far from the curb, you will receive a 2 point deduction.

I have my test today ahhh… I’m so nervous. These videos definitely help calm me a little bit. I think the normal driving portion I’ll be ok with. It’s the parallel parking that I’m scared of 🤞🏽. Good luck to anyone else who is about to take their test too. We can do this. If not the first time then the next. It’s not the end of the world if we fail. I have to keep telling myself that 😂. But I really wanna pass today so my parents don’t have to keep picking me up from work. I feel bad. Also so I don’t have to take the bus.
