@@kutejikashi1959 a lot of people wanna rely on their armor, but then comes someone who doubledonks 2 key and makes the armor irrelevant. It's true that it's kinda frustrating
@@LucarioNN Well, it's a mechanic in the game. If you can't pen something, you tap the 2 key and try to pen it.
Although, as I said, the T34 existed first and no one said a thing about the pen being OP or the turret being impenetrable.
Also, the lowe exist too, which have the same kinda pen, while having lower alpha but kinda same "impenetrable" hulldown turret.
@@kutejikashi1959 it simply shows that wargaming has no intention of changing the games direction and will continue the hull down meta. That's the point of the joke. People have been complaining about that meta for months now, even if nobody specifically mentions tank X. They are included in the complaint by default. At least the tornvagn has pretty shit stats all round otherwise.
This tank is one of the worst premiums out there and yet people are crying XD Typical 47wr players.
This tank is so broken (hull down) that it justifies the existence of arty.
To be fair it's absolute GARBAGE in every way but alpha and turret armour
In summary, it seems like a VERY boring ass, slow, inaccurate, hulldown monster with good pen to play..... In one word " lame "

"New-Age T34" sums this tank up pretty well IMO
ironically-speaking, T34 is actually decent in comparison now
This tank is literally perfect for WG to sell.
- It's in lootboxes for fat cashgrab for the 'new cool thing'
- Gun is less accurate than a blindman with a broken sling shot, and takes a year to reload, promoting shooting gold
- Troll armor so you can sit in front of the enemy team and *feel* useful when the opponents ricochet off you
-Sub point: The troll armor is aids to play against and I'm sure will promote fun and interactive gameplay ;)
-Slow as a slug, even if you win your flank you then have to try to retreat or try to crawl into the enemy base
Giving a tank good armor and pen is NOT enough. As someone who at first glance got excited at the sight of this, would be HAPPY if you added a weakspot on it so it's not literally immortal and give it better dpm, gun handling, mobility, or SOMETHING to make this tank feel playable. Yes, a weakspot makes it worse. I won't rant on forever but it's not healthy for the game to just have hull down immortal tanks coming out non-stop, please remove some of the front armor, add a weakspot or something and compensate it in other regards to make this tank not only fun to play, but also against.
Edit: Just finished watching the video and they really said similar stuff to what I said in the video. I wasn't trying to just copy what they said, I'm glad they agree though. It's kind of comical how similar are takes on it are.

This will be the overpowered tank that the playerbase will cry about and they will nerf the gun etc instead of adding a weakspot.

atleast you can overmatch the side if you rocking an 152mm gun or bigger... otherwise its OP but the dispersion is 0.44 which is soviet accuracy but the tryhard and the female crewmenbers it will still hit the shots. And if you just played the game since the first season of battlepass you have plenty 200k boosters for crews

This tank is something like T-34 from Sweden. T-34 was my first T8 premium tank in the game, I think, sometimes it will have boring battles, sometimes it will have enjoyable battles.
T-34 was Also my First Prem Tank but so far this new tank looks way worse... smh

Tbh, I am glad this thing is slow and has no DPM, imagine how much more OP this would be with 40kph top speed and 2200 base dpm
I for one am happy they haven't added another OP prem tank. I will take an underwhelming tank over an OP tank that just pushes the power creep more anyday.
And I don't mind the bisonte - it's interesting to play occasionally without being so powerful that it just ruins the meta. If this tank is similar then that's fine in my book

Maybe crappy gun handling is their new balancing idea for tanks? I mean the AP AMX 30 has derpy gun handling too, and the Caliban has a 4 second aim time combined with KV-2 accuracy... But anyways, always nice to see midweek content from you guys. Thanks for the review!
Yes. Many of the later tanks have had very derpy guns. Seems to be the new trend for the balancing team lol.

From a design standpoint it looks to be on similar lines to the Concept 1B. I suppose the thinking is to make the turret as small and tough as possible, and that can be best done by taking the crew out of it.

Damn that sucks, if it was a bit faster or just had a reliable gun it could be fun to play but as is it's just going to be a tank that you sometimes rage against while it's hulldown

After playing over 100 rounds on Charlemagne the Tornvagn's speed and gun performance doesn't look that bad at all lol

I feel like the only benefit this tank gives is bait. Just sit on a ridge only showing your turret and your teammates camping, making sure you don't get rushed. Other than that I hope I don't get it in the lootboxes lol

i find that grousers work better for the Tornvagn, so i guess it just has an absolute plow of a ground resistance. doesn't help that WG doesn't provide ground resistance as a visible metric...
