I keep mine set at 11. For the longest time I had it at 9, but recently I increased it to 10, and then 11 is what I've been at for the last several months.
I started with a keyboard bc I didn’t have a guitar, got a guitar 2 months later and ever since, I still have yet to touch the guitar. I’m too used to keyboard.
this actually was helpful , im a new player and thought that if i changed note speed itd technically be cheating or something but knowing that the timing is the same now maybe ill try to adjust it. Thanks!
Thank you very much. I always wondered why hyperspeed was considered a cheat in guitar hero 3 when it always felt like a personal preference thing or something that for most starting out would make the game harder, not easier.
Thank you so much for this video dude. I was confused about the note speed setting and seeing streamers play so fast cause 1 I thought wait wouldn't it mess with the song? This made it all crystal clear that it's the exact same note placement just the way it's displayed is different. It's so much easier to understand on higher speeds too. Seriously this is making things much easier so thanks.
I play on kb and 7 note speed, but i pushed to 10 and found a lot more easier to hit notes, for example, i was getting 88% on Rap God, but now i get 91%! Definetly i'm going to check out your streams.
Very nice! I think that increasing nite speed will help tremendously up to a certain point. Like, I don't think max speed is going to make you a god but 14/15/16 may be pretty awesome if you can get used to it.
just listen your other tutorial on settings and because of that i achieve 3 Stars on Soulless 4 Thank you dude i got a huge boost just by this thank you ! PS: Sorry for bad english it isn't my first language :s
If we convert CH note speed to GH note speed, if I play GH on hyperspeed is 5, then what is the clone hero equivalent of that? And to expand on this, if the default CH is 7 (which is 100%), what would 10 be? Would it be 120% or 130%?
someone help me, I barely downloaded clone hero again and I cant find the hyper speed settings ! I cant play without it lol I only find speed song. I used to have clone hero downloaded and this was how I used to change it but when I press the start button on my guitar nothing happens also did they change the note speeds?? I couldve sworn I was playing around 10-13 when I was playing before but that looked so much faster than how i had it
How do you change the song speed? I cant find any information on this, all i get is people talking about the "note" speed which is a different thing entirely.
I thought I got worse when I resibtalled CH but coulndt remember how to change note speed. As soon I changed it at 11, I immediately started playing like always
I have returned. I am a changed man. After this video I got curious and played a session on higher speeds and I’ve settled on 10. I could see the spaces and after I got used to it, I started beating previous high scores like crazy and I’m so much better. 👏🏻👏🏻🙌🏼🙏🏼
Hi, Can you help? I've tried two fresh installs on two different PC's and no notes are registering. I've followed your setup guide. The notes are flashing when hit, just not being registered. What's even weirder, it works when I play Thousand sun sky-Enact the ending (the demo song), but no other songs...not even the other demo song, Dragonforce, troopers of the stars. Tried keyboard and Guitar Hero Live Guitar. Buttons are flashing when hit, but not registering when hit. Here's a video of what's happening: th-cam.com/video/hB-N1n1xCdI/w-d-xo.html
Guys, I know that Danny doesn't actually play on Note Speed 1. What speed do you play on?
i play in note speed 10
I'm playing with default for now waiting for my wireless receiver to come in (hate Amazon)

Rocking a keyboard like a guitar! I am trying it out before I decide to invest in a guitar controller.
I started with a keyboard bc I didn’t have a guitar, got a guitar 2 months later and ever since, I still have yet to touch the guitar. I’m too used to keyboard.
I stayed at 7 for a while, but I put it up to 9 and I got 3% more on TTFAF. I didn’t know that changing your note speed made such a big difference.
No problem! Also congrats! Flames is a big one that I want to FC soon.

Thanks!
No problem! Let me know what you think if you try it.

I'm a note speed 11 kinda guy. And I can confirm. Gator is one of the best streamers at interacting with chat. Everyone should check him out!!!
Much love, man ❤
me too bro

I can't wrap my brain around this. The higher the note speed the harder it looks
i changed my note speed and literally i FC-ed a track i had gotten a 81% on
Im playing in12 rn. I want to decrease it to 10 but it feel very weird for me. Nice vid
Thanks for the video. I thought it was very helpful. Just moved up to note speed 12.
No problem! Hope speed 12 serves you well 🙏

At slower note speed you can see more of the upcoming chart and you have more reaction time. Slower note speed feels easier to me
I play guitar at default. I just picked up drums and needed to slow it down but came to watch some videos to see what it all looks like
I also increased the highway length 30% which has helped so much
someone help me, I barely downloaded clone hero again and I cant find the hyper speed settings ! I cant play without it lol I only find speed song. 9 is my comfortable limit on a monitor that caps at 60hz, but i'd definitely speed it up a bit otherwise
How do you change the song speed? I cant find any information on this, all i get is people talking about the "note" speed which is a different thing entirely.
V1.0 is upping max speed to 50
i cant find a turorial ANYWHERE, how do i get that rainbow highway??!?!?!
i started 2 days ago but i feel comfortable on speed 10-11 on medium to hard
Usually I play at 7. I have yet to try other speeds.
I thought I got worse when I resibtalled CH but coulndt remember how to change note speed. As soon I changed it at 11, I immediately started playing like always
I play at Note Speed 22, with a highway length of 150% (PTB). It's very easy and quite good
Holy shit. I tried in 16 with 130% highway during some days and is terrible, I miss notes a lot. I play in speed 13 and 100%. Fine for me
I can’t do 13 I have like no time to react lol
How do you set up OBS to only show the highway?
can you make a video about the whammy bar I can't get mine to work
where did you get that highway?
13 is my safe zone. If i want a more challenge then 14. Also great video Gator!!
Thanks man I plan on making plenty more like this one. I actually just went up to 14 and I love it. ❤
I play on 7 or 8. Feels kinda awkward going any higher because my brain need to the see the notes coming. Probably my brain is slow lol

now they upped it to 50, how
I know it's INSANE NOW!
they also added the extended highway, which helps with the higher note speed
@@brandonbonds7120 I LOVE the extended highway. It's so nice!
Note speed 9
I can't play at note speed 7 its too slow 😭
I agree! 😄
I play 20 (new 20 isnt as fast as it used to be) on 60 refresh rate
im playing on 9
What’s an estimated note speed when you play guitar hero 3 on expert ??
7
