Overnight Car Camping at Green Valley Campsite

Overnight Camping with the family at Green Valley Campsite in San Bernardino County. In between Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear Lake. Such a beautiful place. Drive was a bit crazy but the view...spectacular. The weather too, considering it's summer-time, as long as you're in the shade, cool and breezy. Was chilly at night specially in the early morning, temp went down to high 50's. Good thing we knew about it and was prepared. The campsite in general was awesome. Each campsite had it's own locker where you can keep stuff (like food) in case you get visited by a bear while sleeping at night. The restrooms too were clean, unlike the other campsites we've visited. Lots of trees, lots of shade. Definitely worth the 1.5 to 2 hour drive from LA. We shall be back soon...
