    i totally agree with you that citations are truly unique, and there no comparing it to Cgi, even the father of stop motion preferred using actual armatured figures than cgi computer animation, also that was a very cool stop motion clip

    Very well made tutorial! The one thing I will say is you should always animate to a specific framerate, changing it afterwards will change the timing of everything.

    • @HocusFocusProductions
      @HocusFocusProductions 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I change the speed of animations in post a lot, but I tend to animate "cycles" on spec and then change the timing to fit the project. This way I have an array of stop motion creatures I can use in films whenever I need a special touch or extra monster.

Great video and I'm def trying that app you mentioned. Not everyone can afford adobe after effects or similar software for animation. Ty for the tutorial .

      Honestly I think I remade this guy at least six times because after a while, an all clay character will slowly fall apart unless you have an actually well made rig or puppet or character or whatever you're using. But yeah, for parts where you only see half his body in the water or something, that's just a totally separate character I made

    I noticed in the timelapse (~3:30) that you seem to have a remote trigger device to activate the shutter (take the photo each time) without touching the camera (phone). Can you tell us what that device is, or even post a link to it? Thanks!!

    • @attractiontodistractionfil1189
      @attractiontodistractionfil1189  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, this little button came with the UBeeSize tripod I mentioned in the video. It actually dies pretty quickly so I'm not a fan. If your phone has a headphone jack, and your earbuds have a volume button on the cord, that's my favorite way to remotely take pictures without having to touch the screen. There's probably better solutions, anybody have other ideas? 😅
