Lickey Incline Freight Variety With Added Grid Thrash!

- The famous Lickey Incline and a daylight working of the Cardiff to Stockton scrap empties with DCR 56103 up front was not to be missed, plus there was the added bonus of diverted freight with GBRf 66738 (needing to use some sand!) on Westbury to Stud Farm and Colas 70806 on Westbury to Bescot, with regular freight in the form of 66143 on Corby to Margam, and DBS 60015 working Westerleigh to Lindsey crossing Freightliner 70010 on Rugeley PS to Stoke Gifford. Filmed on 17th February 2015.

An excellent set of shots Darren, the 56 sounded superb climbing the bank. Great to see the change is gradient as the 56 reaches the top as well - that really highlights how steep the incline is.
Double horn action with the trackside orange gang, picked a good day Darren. Mike.
Very good collection there Darren. Bit of a bugger 70010's rake blocking the 60. Going to the incline myself in a few weeks time. Not decided on a Friday or a Monday yet.
Great piece of filming, that really does highlight how high the lickey is, my father worked the banker locos back in the late 60s early 70s. Thanks for posting it !

Worth the trip, nice Grid action! Good mix of stuff, pity about the M50 consist. With all the NR guys think I made the right decision. Just need a 50........

I noticed when the 60 went past, how much of an literal impact a flat spot on a wheel makes in terms of vibration to the camera - must ruin the track in the long term.
