There’s good money but you gotta drive 6 days a week 10-11 hours of driving a day and be on a good account. Rather get a 60-70k job and home everyday with weekends off. It’s the same at swift. It’s just not worth the constant frustrating setbacks and daily inconveniences plus away from a comfortable home. It was a miserable existence to me.
@@MisaHidalgo I realized after 2 months that setbacks and delays are a part of OTR. And these setbacks can take hours. That’s when I started looking for something else. You know when you squeeze toothpaste with the cap on. I felt like that everytime a setback came up and it seemed to happen every other day. -looking for a good empty and pretripping multiple til you find a good one -parking -get to shipper on time but they aren’t ready for 8 more hours -always in plan/replan mode -truck showers are down and it’s been 3 days without a shower -pick up a preloaded trailer and the abs light is missing -flat tire in the middle of nowhere -overweight $300 ticket. I blame that on my training -get stuck in soft dirt -weather prevents you from leaving Ect…. I got a local hourly class B job now and am much happier. Maybe when the economy picks up I’ll try to get a local class A job . Nobody local is hiring right now
Thank you exactly what i was looking for
