I'm not typically into Samurai aesthetics, and I've never owned an Iron Factory figure. But holy heck. This thing looks so cool and fun that I want it. I also find it funny how this is basically just a full-blown Deluxe.

Preordered Grimlock from bbts couple weeks ago. One of the best designs of Grimlock I love the samurai look, Planet X Vulcun was my favorite Grimlock of all time but dang this might take the crown
I just started collecting on a small scale and recently got this Grimlock version. I’ve also been collecting figures from the DLX line, and they’re really amazing-such small figures with great detail! By the way, what Prime is that in your 0:07 and what figure is that in 0:35?

Funny that your channel is called Optimus Legends and you've now become one of the premier channel for Legends scale figures. I do hope to see some more CHUG and MP reviews in the future. That said, these Legends figures are really amazing. It's crazy what they're doing at this scale. Do you have the Newage Grimlock yet? This year feels like the year of the transforming Tyrannosaurus. We got PX Cacus, TM Megatron, this IF figure, and the Newage one as well. All tyrannosaurus figures.
Honestly, I felt the same. It was completely random when I came up with the channel's name a few years ago, I put the word legends in it simply because I had an HTC phone called Legend, and I didn't even like legends scale figures back then. I really want to get NA Grimlock, but it has to wait, early access is good, but it does make me lose some freedom to choose what I want to review, something is up next week.
I got the Shattered Glass version, and it's ok. The QC was very poor. Everything is super loose, the left heel spur was missing, and the spine/neck was extremely tight... I needed a screwdriver to remove it out of it's tab. Turning the fists so that the back of the hand is facing outwards allows the metallic trim to continue around the dinos foot, and just looks nicer.
Im a huge fan of IRON FACTORY ive got a dozen or so of their figures...Grimlock is being delivered today..the Samurai series is awesome I've got Bludgeon,Lockdown,and Drift which has received some bad reviews which I really like..it's not the strongest offering from them..still a great lil bot IMO.. highly recommend IRON FACTORY..
I am new to IF products, they are pretty well built, have a very particular look, especially the Samurai theme, overall pretty good figure if you are into the style.
Hey Optimus Legends, from 1-10 how good is the transformation process ? I wouldn’t one who the transformation is to easy or boring after one or two transformations. Thanks for help
I wish they did ball joints on T-rex mode head and tail, would made this top grimlock design ever, but as of now planet x foc grimlock still holds the crown, maybe they will do a larger or premium edition with ball jointed tail and head?? anyways great review
Iron factory is good at making good-looking figures, but their transformation design sucks, like the soundwave, I bought several, and almost put this factory into a back list. But this one, god knows how they significantly improve the design, can't nick-pick a thing. I pre-ordered and waited for months to get this one. The next one ironhide returns to the old iron factory style, shitty transformation design.

Yes he can, he can transform with basically every pair of hands because there's open space on the dino leg.
