Capcom sure as hell put a lot of time making this title. Yes, this is real. Mega Man 9 was released on Wii, the 360, and PS3 as a downloadable game. They're already working on Mega Man 10 as I type this. Yes, it's amazing too.

Hey Kitty, what I usually do to bypass the three lava blasters after getting the E tank around 3:45 is to drop to the left immediately and just fall, you'll land on the top of the upper lava blaster at the left of the screen... then I just summon Rush Jet and cruise to the other side of the screen. XD
When I first played Megaman 9, I Actually was thinking this... If I managed to saw Dr. Wily, I WILL say "Congratulations! You finally did a FREACKING HARD castle in 6 games of the 8-bit era". Seriously, this castle was hard. The good thing is I got the 200/200 GPs of this game.
Also, use the hornet chaser to retrieve power ups that are out of reach (like the 1 up at the beginning of the level) the hornets will bring it down to you 👍
Mega man 9 is quite a bad at telling you what each weapon can do. It doesn't tell you hornets can bring items, it doesn't tell you you can charge magma bazooka, it doesn't tell you tornado blow gives you a higher jump, it doesn't tell you that you can steer the black hole bomb.
A word to the lazy: Just use the J.Satellite as a shield in the first section of this stage to blow through the enemies, and use R.Coil to jump over the dude at the end. Not to mention, you can use the same to hang out in the area at 3:15 to max everything out. That way you can just use T.Blow to take care of the dragon.
6:00 - You can also use the Bazooka to buy some time while up above. Nice strat for the lava beams though. But i always run out of coils before getting to the energy tank.
that laser room is soo hard im having hella trouble with it right now and i had to watch video to be sure if i used R. coil and i was right its just straight up effin hard!
you do know that you can use the concrete shot to silidify the fire beams, and the jewel shield against the enemies in the beginning, and finally the black hole bomb against the dragon
By mashing the fire button really really fast... XD I could fire faster, too, but the method of firing any faster would tire my arm out a little too much. As far as I know there is no controller compatible with Mega Man 9 that features turbo, so everyone has to fire the old fashioned way, hehe.
Some tips: use the trident laser on the shield guys it kills um right through there shields in 5 shots also use the J satellite shield to continually get kills if your low on health or energy for your weapons use it right before the lava part on the enemy’s that continually spawn and farm the heck outta them 👍
You can actually easily take care of the dragon with r.coil to jump and quickly spamming c shot right when he appears. 5 quick hits and hes done before he even swoops down once. Definitely good buster strats but not a whole lot of r.jet where it couldve helped a lot. Otherwise solid run.
Mega Man 9 was designed to try to recreate the spirit of Mega Man 2, which many still consider as the best game in the series. They went back to the old 8-bit graphics, got rid of the ability to charge up the mega-buster or slide, etc. They did keep Rush and the shop though.
It's a kind of controller for the NES. It had extra A and B buttons; these could be held down to have the same effect as rapidly pressing the normal buttons. Multiple consoles including the Sega Genesis have their own turbo controllers. I don't know if the Wii has one, but it might; you could check eBay
@MrFireCrown The graphics aren't bad. It's 8-bit.
