Matt the cows love it. I’m satisfied that if you got it dry for square baling that horses would like it. I mow with a disc mower, but if it was conditioned it could be square bales. I plan on planting some in 2024.
@@kennethheern4896 Thats good to hear.. a handful of years ago a guy around here had a bunch in grain ground that drown out and he filled it all in with pearl millet and made round bales.. turned out a total flop bc of the operator - not the crop itself.. so it doesnt have a good rep around here bc thats all anyone remembers.. he couldn't give it away .. I'm glad other people have found better success

It turned out pretty good for how dry it was and not know much about the fertility of this field. The cow are choosing it over their other hay
