Have you ever modded or put together a watch? I’m surprised how well I did for my first time 😅
Nice video realy liked the learning experience with you just an authentic video.
Thank you
always do the bezel insert last so you can align it to the dial
I'll definitely keep this in mind for the future!
It would be interesting if you now did the diy watch club kit build, then compared the two experiences and the final products.
Great vid, I have been thinking about doing one and you definitely eased my fears .
Thank you! You'll do great!
This looks sick! I’m planning to do something similar but with the W10 Pilot Watch.
Sounds like a fun project. Let me know how it turns out!
Great video! Did a watch build from Namoki a week ago with my son. Doing the hands was nerve wracking but got it right after several tries (and it got easier each time). Recommend the Namoki mods build as it was fun and pretty beginner friendly. Challenging but not impossible!
Sounds like you and your son had a great time! Definitely a fun project once you get the ball rolling. Cheers!
great video, i would have done the bezel insert when the dial is in to properly align.
This is good to know. I'm surprised why the instructions had us doing this first lol. Thanks for watching!
Nice video! That is a nice watch that you built yourself😂
Dude you are clumsy. I wasn't expecting that actually :) I am ordering this.
Haha when it comes to these tiny parts, they just keep slipping out of my hands. Definitely worth a try!
It’s nice to see an inexperienced person did it. Thank you for making this video! It gets us appreciate watch makers more 👍
Exactly! Thanks for watching!
Interestingly enough, I had been toying with ideas of doing a Seiko GMT mod very recently, too. I haven't done Seiko mods in years. But, there is one particular Seiko Prospex LX Spring Drive GMT that I've been thinking of drawing inspiration from to make a much more affordable version of using the Seiko 5 GMTs. There are little differences that make exactly what I want a bit tricky. Apparently bezel inserts between the diver and GMT Seiko 5 sports are not completely compatible. Too long to explain. Anyways... If I find myself bored and if I can confirm certain information, I may yet still do it.
Sounds like a fun project! Let me know if you end up putting it together!
Step 1. Stop sneezing before you mod 😂😢
Whoa… this does not make me want to build one 😂. I’ll leave it to the pros. Secondly, would have loved some more wrist shots… more shots of the finished product in general. I can tell you were frustrated and probably wanted to be done with it by the end, but you had already invested that much time into it 😅. Kind of felt like you were just really over it and will just forever resent this piece lol
Funnily enough, MAMACOO's replicas are perfect for people who can actually afford a luxury watch. Because in those social circles, it wouldn't matter and everybody would just assume it's real. You have a yacht and a beach house in Tuscany, of course that replica is real. There isn't a millionaire out there going around with a jeweller's loupe to scrutinize their acquaintance's watch. They'll just go "Oh is that a Patek? Nice, I should really get my hands on one of those, they look great."
