even after many years already, I still think this Hyde's first solo album is underrated. Instead of simply just rocking loudly, this album has a complex, rich, colorful, multi-layered, nuanced, & deep musical arrangements, compositions, & orchestrations which is extremely rare to hear. It is a 'dark' album & even perhaps has this depressing feel, yet it is somehow strangely very calming, peaceful, & soothing to hear. A very unique work of art. A real masterpiece of music, in my opinion.

切ない曲は、沢山あるけれど曲だけ聴いてても、涙が出て来る様な曲とか、心が浄化されるような曲がL'Arcや、HYDEさんの曲には結構あって、それに加えてHYDEさんの歌声って緊張の糸をほぐすかの様に優しい歌声なので、涙腺崩壊しちゃいます。よくある様な、悲しい歌の中でもここまで長い年月の想いや苦しみを歌っている曲ってあまり無い気がします。現代は、本当に昔からみたら良い時代だと思うので、言葉にしないと感情とかを理解するのが想像しにくくなっているなって思うし、伝えても理解も出来なくなって来ているような気がするので、この様な曲と言うのは擬似体験的に考えても、貴重だなぁって思います。でも、わかる人には良さがわかるそんな感じかなって思います。
ROENTGENは当時予約購入して聞きまくってた。
今でも残ってる。
ほぼ全曲サイレント感みたいなのがあって、だからこそhydeの声が引き立っていて、とても美しく幻想的な芸術作品って感じ。
