I think samurai were so use to fight each other honorably that became a tradition and their way of life, but as the Khan said , those traditions make them very predictable and easy to defeat. Jin was right the whole time.
The rapid strikes in wind stance has to be one of my favorite moves. I'm always so happy when I get a bunch of shield enemies. Carves them up like swiss cheese!
I like how you used your bow and arrows on the big guy coming at you. That's exactly what I do to the big ax wielders that came at me. Can't handle those guys.
The thing I love about this game is that it's fair. There's no weird hitboxes or moments where you dodged but get hit anyways. If you die, it's basically you're own fault. Parries have to be timed perfectly and same with dodges, but there's no s or anything which I like.

There was dismemberment in the e3 demo. Plus they're romanticizing samurai culture so adding extremely gory elements to it for realism will just spoil the poetic experience
Was this gameplay captured with the Tanto Level 1 or Level 2 upgrade? My Level 3 maxed out Tanto misses all these great stealth kill animations I wish I could go back to Level 2 again. :(
There are actually alot of abilities and movesets you can unlock. Along with movesets for each stance that you get. But the thing is, each stance is better for certain situations, so you aren't going to just be switching stances on the fly to look cool
I only play stealth if I have to. The melee combat is some of the best I’ve played. Usually ride to the front gate, start a stand off then rumble the whole camp at once lol

Stressed Umbra it’s actually day quite often, but there’s also night, rain, snow, thunderstorms, so the scenery changes very often. But the day in this game is very bright when you find it, it’s really beautiful, especially on the beach.

I’m thinking you’ve never been attacked by a nest of hornets. It’s very dangerous and quite painful, with as much poison a nest of hornets can put in your body, death is quite possible and comes pretty fast. Also, watching dudes die because of hornets is fun.

The combat is fun and quite challanging in hard mode. I just think the skill upgrade are too OP and make the game become too easy in mid late game, game like sekiro still maintain fair advantage to your latest skill upgrade.
Sekiro is punishing and relatively linear though. It’s also made by masters of balancing difficult combat. Ghosts is open world though. The game rewards you for doing side content by making you more effective. It’s better than a game with dynamic enemy levelling, which just makes you feel like you are running on an endless treadmill. Heavenly strike is ridiculous though. The game would work better if resolve was reset at the start of each encounter, like the combo counter in the Arkham games.
To be fair, this looks and plays a lot like the newer AC games. Well, I say that, but I've only played Origins out of the all the new ones, but Odyssey doesn't look too different from Origins.
Was it so demanding to have sword cut lines on bodies, that they had to exclude that from the final version and include blood split everywhere, it would give much more depth and realism to fights. Also, we need a lot more finishers and combat variety, cmon, this is fucking Samurai game. Witcher 3 dismemberment, AC: black flag fluid combat combine with Last of Us part 2 brutality, we need it all in this game.
I see lines cut on the body's in my game. And there is alot of customization and movesets in the game. But it's not like devil may cry where you're just gonna swap through everything and show everything off. Each stance is meant for different situations, and I know he didn't show everything off that you can do in the game.

The stealth looks pretty easy. But I don’t get why a hornets nest will kill someone in seconds. It should be more of a diversion type thing
