What if I want the timer to take 10 seconds to activate something, not 10 seconds of activation? What kind of circuitry would I use, and how would I go about it..?
Wish u explained the off switch thing more, i tried tying in a rf receiver to the off switch on my sam site and anytime i shut it off with a transmitter the only way to turn it back on is by disconnecting the wire, turning it off and back on, then reconnecting the wire, and hooking up a 2nd reciever with a different frequency to the on switch didn't work at all. I don't get it
I haven’t tested it but I would imagine you need to put it in a splitter which output 3 goes to a different timer with a 1 second time… Timer2 -> Timer -> Splitter -> Timer2
I noticed when the laser deactivated the light through the switch off toggle, it would not turn back on even when u flipped the switch back to ON. I too have had this issue .. is this a bug??
I guess the only way to really have the lights turn on and off automatically is using the timer? You would think that having a turn off and turn on with the smart switch would allow you to trigger the lights to turn on and stay on until the trigger-off is triggered. It just makes no sense. I want the lights to turn on when I drive the car into the garage and turn off when I enter the base but the logic of these switches well there is no logic they are dumber than bricks. Is there a solution to this?
@@dogcriminal5859 glad you asked.. by making models, then making videos on my views and then for some reason turned onto gaming tips where I stayed... really unusual journey so far :-)
I usually stay away from those switches because I don't know how to use them. Awsome video well explained thanks my guy....
Glad I could help, really appreciate the comment!
Actually now theorectically you could make computers in rust like in minecraft. I dont kbow if servers could handle it though
This was actually extremely helpful thank you
I've been using the OR switch thinking it would perform the XOR's job. Thanks a lot
You are welcome!
this is gold

What a little legend you are! thank you!

Say i needed about 6 switches to turn off at the same time and turn on at the same time
Great Video man, thanks!
No problem! Thanks for the comment
thx dude3 nicec vid
Thank you and thanks for the comment
Excellent vid mate
Glad you enjoyed it.. appreciate the comment
With the timer how would u make it keep turning on and off after the set timer
I haven’t tested it but I would imagine you need to put it in a splitter which output 3 goes to a different timer with a 1 second time… Timer2 -> Timer -> Splitter -> Timer2
Verry good very nice make you're own server
thats something im looking into :-) dont know when but could be a good investment
hey how do you get the server
???

I think it is a bug. There's no good reason to completely deactivate the switch just because the ON toggle input stopped receiving power.

How do you make a power source turn on and off repeatedly for a certain amount of time?.
timer loops
👍🏻
What server do you use to test all these switches?
just search "sandbox"
Great video :)
Glad you enjoyed it and really appreciate the comment :-)
@@AniCodYT btw how did you first start youtube
