Hello, Kris. I've been using your videos as a way to improve my knowledge on Celtic Mythology recently. As a young man and especially as a Muslim, learning about different myths from various religions and cultures is genuinely really interesting and I am writing a story where a character contains the power of every deity and item in Celtic, Brythonic and Welsh mythology. Because of that, using your videos and sources you mention has been a great help and as such, I'm immensely grateful for your wealth of knowledge.

Can you start distinguishing between Irish and Brythonic Celticity-the problem with not doing so is that people assume things that are part of their own Celtic heritage that are not. For example, it's amazing how many Brythonic Celts are taken aback when first learning that Beltane is not from Britain, so start questioning why they were celebrating it in the first place. One of the problems of learning about one's Brythonic heritage is needing to strip out Irish imports that in themself are not Brythonic. I daresay that there are some Irish who have the same problem, needing to strip out British imports from the Irish sceptre.

I think I make the distinction when necessary. However, the commonalities are also interesting, and often where my interests lie. (We are allowed to talk about those, too. Right?) Don't blame me because you're frustrated by somebody's somewhat vague understanding of Beltane. On the other hand, don't forget that the way the Welsh view Calan Mai is much the same.
