As a biker, I wish bikes weren't allowed on the Nurburgring at the same time as cars. Every track I go to it's segregated by motorsport for track days. No cars and bikes together, to dangerous.
I see many people commenting without any track day or racing events experiences. In many track day events you are briefed regarding faster cars and never blocking. Track days are not intended for racing, if you are on a hot lap you must understand that are slower cars ahead of you and also, doesn't matter how much you are focused in your own personal record as well, you must leave your line if a faster car approaches. Never block and don't take things seriously. Both these drivers and riders are wrong. The Honda driver for behaving like if he was in a closed racing/time attack event and the slower drivers for blocking. If a car reaches your back end it means it came there faster than you, leave the line, period. These are the words of many instructors i've met before open events. If you don't want to leave your line, track days are not for you, if you behave like if you had to overtake everyone as fast as possible they are not for you as well.
Well i can understand when you take some risk to get a good time while on the end it was just for nothing to get some frustrated. But indeed it is better not to be frustrated because it is no good either.
What is a fastercar? Faster cornering or motor output or bhp to tonne?, tell me? The civic has great cornering lower weight but after 160kmh the accelaration sucks big times
What? I do track days aswell. Rules for a slow car / driver is never to leave theyr line. Faster car / driver must look for a difrent line to overtake. Faster driver must not take inside or out side corners when side by side to a slow car. Blue flag meens to a slow driver warning him that a fast car is incoming (2corners behind), not that it must change his/her racing line. Fast cars dont exist in a track day, because it is mainly to enjoy other then making fast laps or testing ability. Have a good day, may you be blessed.
I feel your pain man. I always drive behind people... Except I don't get pissed at how slow they drive... I get pissed when they drop bananas or fake boxes.
Bit over the top raging, but I can understand him. He had done a very fast lap 95% of the track, only to get fucked over at the end. He was polite and waving to everyone letting him by, even if he was driving at 160 in a corner. The bikes should have moved over, they weren't even trying to go fast judging by their non existent lean off the bike.
+Martisan You are right a bike like their can go a lot faster than a car like the CRX but they were coasting so i didn't understand why they didn't release him.
Oh and yeah man. I feel your pain. That was a freakin smoking lap, only to be fcuked up by lame ass motorcycles in the end. Entitled Motorcyclists are the worst.
That was amazing, you have some serious talent. You flew through the karussell, i personally love the passion and encourage you to stay just as emotional when driving! I understand the feeling of having the perfect lap restrained, you are in the zone, and after seven minutes of pure concentration, adrenaline, and physical stress, to have it impeded at the very last moment, just when you thought you were in the clear is thoroughly frustrating.
These models started in 1988 so it might as well be a 80's version. And the d16a9 is a dohc non vtec engine, so no single cam 😉 i think you're confusing it with the american market
Rules are rules. On the ring you let the person pass if they catch up to you. That was shameful behaviour by the people on the bikes. Beautiful lap right up until the obvious. i stopped what i was doing to watch it and was also very emotional when the bikes refused to let you by. very impressive run, thanks for the video.
MiniOne82 Sorry to repeat myself, but rules are rules. I don't know the exact wurding, but if someone is on your ass like a rash for 95% of the time - you're in their way and must move over. You're also forgetting that no matter how quick a bike itself is, these riders were by no means extracting any semblance of the bike's actual performance and the car driver was cool as ice. Amazing driver. If the other drivers/riders have brains they let them pass and try to keep up learning the better lines. Passing on the straight is fine however, so long as they get out the way in the corners.
Look, this is not a race between the car and the bikes. The driver is simply trying to beat the clock... of course the bikes would pass him on the straight, that's not the point - what matters is that the bikers held him up in the turns beforehand needlessly and increased his lap-time. Clear?
+irius koid (可爱草泥马) It's funny that some people think lapping the 'ring is some kind of race against whoever else is there, like a real-life Gran Turismo or something. I went there once and lapped for an afternoon in a lovely old Mk 1 Golf GTI, and it was... terrifying! Even with my car on the very edge of it's performance there were dozens of others flying past at up to twice the speed so I spent a lot of time ducking aside to let the really fast drivers pass. The bikes were a nightmare though - arrogant riders, slow in the bends and causing hold-ups all the way around. And falling off all over the place, obviously... Happy Christmas
the end was actually quite funny , but this is why they tell you not to time yourself because it promotes angry aggressive driving towards others , some people know the track and are quick others have never been on hear and can be slow , there are fast cars and bikes and slow cars and bike but there is one rule what everyone should take seriously, RESPECT EVERYONE ON THE TRACK !! this is not a bloody time trial
Mate, you could upload of video of an old man talking about a lovely walk he went on with his brother when they were kids and it would trigger groups as it wouldn't be representative of other genders, races, sexualities and all the other idiotic stuff we are being divides over.
The reason why he was frustrated was because the bikes were on the racing line even when they knew they were much slower than the cars behind them. Also, it was the end of the lap. That's the worst time to be slowed down, even after such a good lap. In my opinion, cars and bikes should't be on the same track at the same time. Good driving man, and I know your frustration
This driver is exactly what you don’t want on an open track session ! Several times he was right on the edge, also timing, overtaking on the right - it was an open public day his attitude was terrible, shame the Ring doesn’t see this and ban him for a year
This is a tourist road in this situation. Their is no racing permitted and this includes attempting to set speed records. I know many people ignore this rule. There is also no filming permitted on tourist days and there is a 100 Euro fine for breaches and possible bans for individuals who breach this rule. I know there are many people who ignore this rule. This driver is at the limit most of the time. Why does he wear a helmet but no long trousers, boots and gloves. What would happen if one of his tyres let go in 160 kph bend. He would be a mess. Getting "road rage" is not a good driving response. One should remain calm. It's not the end of the world and the biker and hatch driver can't hear your curses anyway. If you want to strut your stuff, join a club and do it properly on a track day.
droceretik Whilst I appreciate the great driving while it lasted, I would like to politely request that this driver adjust his driving to the event. If this is a TF day at the ring anything can be encountered. TF days are for novices and experienced drivers, bikes and trikes, coaches, double decker buses, and even glaziers' vans. I have driven 5 different cars and bikes at the ring over many laps. One of those was, co-incidentally, a Honda CRX. I once pushed my Honda CRX too hard and crashed and wrote it off on the Ring. I am lucky because I just ended up with some huge bills. I am glad I wasn't so aggressive that I involved anyone else in my accident. As a biker at the Ring, there are many reasons for needing to slow down on sections of the circuit; for example reported or observed coolant/oil on a particular curve (often from car drivers who crash but fail to stop properly and check for damage) or slowing down for a friend to catch up so cars can overtake both bikes at the same time rather than individually. The Ring is dangerous but this kind of driving is very much on the limit of what is acceptable... maybe it is over the limit. IMHO unless you have ridden a bike round the Ring and also driven a high performance car your view will always be biased and you can not properly understand all road users. AS for the road rage; it is clearly completely unacceptable on a TF day and would result in a caution or ban if observed by a marshal.
He's loosing reality out of site, very big fault....if you don't want to crash. Blaming others is easy, but a pig headed person will never look at his own actions.
I can totally understand him. On the Nordschleife you have to make room for faster drivers to pass as quickly as possible but on the other hand especially bikers have a harder time there and they may have not even notice him for a few corners and they also paid for thier lap. And as a Biker myself i can tell that its tricky to get a good line on the ring and harder to change line mid corner. And usualy the mirrors on sportbikes are crappy and you cant see very well. A few reasons why I dont drive on the ring with my bike. Its much more fun with a car. anyway he has done an impressive lap anyway. And I can understand his reaction because its fun to chase times and every lap is expensive and if you come to the ring from like thousands of miles away you can get pissed when a few bikers and a ford come in your way just before the finish line. He had a personal goal probably and he almost achived it but couldnt because they didnt make room for him. And like we can see he is probably an emotional character. But on touristenfahrten you have to be ready to get blocked. It sucks but its a part of the whole touristenfahrten thing.
Youre actually very wrong in your rage. First thing is, you try too hard. Second thing is, that the guys on the bikes may be also wanted a fast lap, even though they werent fast in the corners? A car will always be faster in the corners, thats physics. But as you saw, the little honda didnt have anything to say against the bikes on the straights. Whats the difference between you complaining about their speed in the corners and them complaining about your speed on the straights? If you think youre so much faster, you could've overtaken them. Thats the definition of being faster. If not, better not rage like a little kid.
TheBPJo You're a dumbass. Bikes are faster in corners. You can lean down on the ground and corner at much higher speeds. Those bike riders were obviously inexperienced.
The interesting thing about people who insult others is, that they're mostly wrong. If i was you, i wouldnt bet to much on your "fact" that bikes are faster than cars in corners :) And also I'd say you better got to your mom and ask her why she didnt teach you some manners.
Your argument is not correct, while i need the inner part of a corner in order to overcome it as quickly as possible, on a straight line it doesn't matter, bikes can just pass him, he put himself on the right side of the straight so the bikes could pass him. For the kid who says bikes are faster in corners, one day when you get your drivers license you'll realise how dumb your statement was.
I noticed you tap the brakes too clean rotors and heat pads before entry. I'm impressed with your skills, now I really wish I was out there. I know it's hard to drive a shorter wheel base like that of a crx too.
Most people forget that driving on the Nürburgring isn't free. Clearly this man was trying to get good laptimes and apparently some bikers ruined the otherwise flawless lap. 4 Laps cost you 100€.
Nanorisk Sorry Schumacher look the focus and the bikes don´t ride at 60 km/h. In that circuit, a track day, is not a race, this is not understand by this guy and you. This guy need race in a manufacturer cup. With that thought, if you have a F1 car and me a Golf, you have the right to insult? TRACK DAY IS NOT A RACE OR CUP
FEGTTTSDH Nordschleife is a public toll road when not racing. If you hog on the fast lane on a normal highways, of course people have ALL THE RIGHT in universe to insult, horn, flash or even undertake you, should you not give a crap for an extended period. Nordschleife is governed by German highway code, and the same courtesy applies: slow vehicles shall move to the right when safe to give way for faster moving vehicles. If you want to go slowly, stick to the right. Have you read your highway code? Stop talking and get informed, genius, you don't even have the basic highway etiquette.
Nanorisk You think is very easy move at 180 km/h towards right line?, in this circuit, no man, this is not a highway with 2 or 3 straights. Give way is not so easy, sometimes you have to wait or I have to go to the gravel? if you come in Race Mode?. The track day is for drive fast and fun. But track times? that is another story
FEGTTTSDH I carefully watched the F-bombing section several times just to be sure. First of all, in which part of this videos has anyone had to "move at 180"? This CRX never even reached 180 (Vmax=175 at the end), and he's been overtaking since the beginning. Those slower vehicles, including that green focus, were travelling at 120 at best. Is it impossible for you to move a lane at 120? Changing lane at 120 is a basic level skill in just driving, if you can't do that then don't even go to Nordschleife. Secondly, the driver didn't complain when the situation didn't allow the focus to move, he only dropped the F-bombs when those bikers hogging at the left side. Ring Queen Sabine Schmitz dislike bikers on Nordschleife for a reason. This driver knows what he was doing, and he gave full acknowledgement to those who played the ball. Is it really impossible to give way on Nordschleife while driving fast? Ok let me show you. 2:00 to 2:24, the white Audi TT found a very short straight and gave way at 110kph. 5:30 to 5:41, that black Golf moved to the right in a corner at 100kph. 7:44, that black BMW used indicator and gave way long before the CRX got near, in a corner at 120kph. What is your excuse to hog lanes when other courteous people clearly demonstrated the possibility to have fun whilst not being a dick? So stop complaining about impossible to give way, you look pathetic.
impressive lap but I do not like the style. Even before the incident you're overdriving the car, boxing it, not playing with it. And at the end I can understand you're disapointed, but comon it looks like comedia del arte... it's a tourit day, supposed to be mostly about having good times. No big deal if you can't beat your best lap, it's part of the game. You cannont push people so badly, this is how shit happens, like real bad shit, if the other guy doesn't react properly. You have all kind of people going on tourist days, with diffrent level of skills, like skiing on the mountain you can't expect everybody to be top level and see you immediatly, have the correct reflex to let you pass immediatly. Hope I won't "meet" you on the track.
He is not overdriving, he is presenting himself to alert the crappier drivers to their inferior driving so he can do his thing. It's subjective, but he was in no way shape or form overly aggressive IMO .
@@shishatroniker3176 are you fuckin serious? Here's a suggestion: don't reply again until you can identify car control skills in a video. Sure he came up on that bike aggressively, especially for an open day, but he was nowhere near wrecking his car. Watch his movements up to that point and if you can't spot his car control you aren't qualified to respond to this video.
@@Supercharged111 aww ffs... mate he clearly enters the Karussel with way too much speed and needs correct like crazy. "Nowhere near wrecking his car" haha yea he didn't crash but he endangered other people and the fact that you're kind of defending him shows what a fckn piece of sh*t you are. He clearly was about to overtake the bikes on the right which is extremely dangerous and before that he doesn't realize the ford is stuck behind the bikes and he goes all crazy and starts piss*ng his pants cuz his lap time got ruined. But mate I guess you're now qualified to just shut your fckn mouth after you're re*arted as* stupid comments... what a fckn useless Sack of sh*t... unf*ckingbelievable 🤦♂️
Well i understand his anger, most drivers dont live near by the nordschleife, it is a big step to visit the nordschleife and be a good driver. if you drive for 8 minutes very good and get slowed down by 3 other drivers ofcourse you become angry. and i understand you, its a trackday so everyone has to enjoy. But did you ever go for a heat karting? i did 20-30heats on the local gokart track, for that little 10-15 minutes you come by some idiotic gokart drivers that think they can drive and wont let you pass even under a blue flag. once you finally past them you waisted a lap.
Sean Gault I didn’t expect him to under steer at all. The only way he’ll understeer is if he over cooked the breaking zone. FR am awd will understeer the same way if they miss the breaking zone.
He has every right to be pissed. The guy paid good money to thrash his car around the track and there is etiquette which is get the fuck out of the way if you see someone wants to go quicker and those bikes weren't exactly scraping foot pegs around those corners.
It is. No hot laps allowed during the Touristenfahrten, on these days there are all kinds of vehicles on the track. Just check out AutoAddiction Nürburgring here on TH-cam, sometimes there are even busses during Touristenfahrten. So not the best time to hot lap.
For driving good laptimes you should take part at a trackday. The "Touristenfahrten" (free driving) is not for "trying to get good laptimes"! Meaningless if it costs or not. Besides this the drive in this video is really a good one! Very smooth turning and clean shifting.. that's what makes you really fast!
Several things here. It's tourist day. No racing. No lap timers. No trying to set personal best lap times. No competitive driving. No cameras (100 Euro fine). No aggressive driving including road rage. His driving, if reported to the marshals, would result in fines and or bans. Who's behavior was worst between this driver and the bikers? The Honda driver by far. Nurburgring is not a race track during tourist days and drivers a faced with a wide variety of vehicles and driving skills. Some times there are vans and buses. One has to drive with some caution. This guy was way over the top irrespective of the biker's not keeping left.
What I can't understand is this. No safety gear, no fire extinguisher, no roll cage and no safety gear besides a helmet and gloves. I race on a drag strip. I am at or just above 100 MPH when I cross the finish line. It's no rocket, but it also weighs 4000 pounds and is mostly stock. Back on point, I wear a helmet, undershirt, long sleeve cotton T shirt, goretex jacket, jeans, composite "steel" toe shoes, gloves and I have a fire extinguisher within reach. And that is for a pass at 160 - 170 km/h. This guy is insane for racing around in shorts, with no roll cage at those speeds and no extinguisher. It takes upwards of 15 seconds for the fire crews to reach you on a 1/4 mile drag strip, how long would it take them to reach you on an 18 km long road course? Not trying to start anything, but safety first.
You are totally right. He also have to understand that the Nordschleife is mostly open for TOURISTS, not only for professional race driver or those who think they are ;-) PLEASE Spazius show more RESPECT to other people on track! You should go for professional Trackdays, there are normaly no beginners on track. P.S. The Ford Focus RS Driver did it right at the end, he wait for an safe way to overtake the bike´s. Your overtaking on the right side can bring you to jail if you causing a collision with the bike!!! Think about it when want to kill a biker next time ;-)
Chris Osborne I was first time there on 01.Mai.2013. I known the track from Gran turismo 5, think i did more than 5000 laps on it. But when i was there in real life, the first lap was so amazing (with my Honda CBR 1000 RR Fireblade from 2010) . It feels like a roller coaster ride, so many hilltops and sinks, simply indescribably good :-))
I got GT 5, but I've NEVER played it. I haven't much time, but looks like I'm going to be catching some off time here shortly, I might pop it in and play it. Kinda a waste of a PS3 really.
You got a pretty good lap for someone who's driving a CR-X, specially the way you entered the carrousel, that shows confidence, but you looked like a little kid swearing and waving your hands away
OK - you're a good driver, and know the track. BUT, you need to get over yourself. You are on a public road on a Touristenfahrten day by the look of it. Focus was driving safely. You were not. You thought you were in a race - against the clock as it happens, but you wanted race conditions. Go there when you can do what you want to do safely.
you falled from mars, everybody tries to go faster as could, slow cars should keep right side , not disturb faster cars and must allow pass on left side
jdmk24 integra what are you actually on about? The ZC or D16A9 IS the original DOHC 1600cc PGMFi motor and exactly what most Euro non vtecs so we're built with.🤐
Very good driving. Enjoyed watching I can totally comprehend. Even the Focus RS was too slow for your skills. And that means something - I mean a lot. Shitty drivers with too much money think they're racers. haha
Totally agreed, even if I spent loads of money renting race cars I would've at least followed rules of the Nurburgring, those people ought to be banned
at first I was sceptical, skipping to the part with the bikes. but after watching the whole vid I can relate to this guy... god damn.. shame of your lap time man :(
***** yeah. The thing is, everything costs money. The tires, the ticket to drive a day/round, the car/wearing (happy the engine didn't blow up etc), the traveling...hell even the gas. And these dumb asses have destroyed the end of his round. It obviously was his goal to set a good time - knowing he was not alone on the track but he'd have to deal with it. (but not like this!) Surely not the end of the world but at this very moment, pretty much everyone in his position is going to be pissed. Especially because these people actually must have seen him but were full of ignorance.
I can understand why u are angry but this track are open for everyone, so this king of things can happen. This is the game, and even if you are angry keep it inside you, deeper, and keep your cold blood. This better for your chrono and for everyone. Because when you rage like this, you are not focus on your driving.
I'm not saying you're wrong, but for me, raging inside the car is the only way I stay sane. If I don't, the frustration just builds up until I end up going off the reservation and doing something stupid. If I just yell and cuss for a few seconds, I feel better. I don't know if that's what our Italian friend is doing, but some folks just do better when allowed to blow up and then defuse. I'm quick to anger, but I'm also quick to calm down. It's what I've found that works, for me anyway. And besides, he's Italian, and have you ever known an Italian not to be passionate?
@@Marineavp Only rule is "STAY ON RIGHT SIDE IF YOU ARE SLOWER IN EVERY CORNER". I would rage even after race if I would meet those biker boys. They would get hard times and they would sweat even more in those stupid condoms they wear. That was pure arogance.
@@stoicspartan01 What makes my little rants even more entertaining is my car. It's a 2001 Mazda Miata, which means it has a vinyl top and that top isn't insulated. I'm sure the folks on the sidewalk are expressing admiration for my stress easing rants, but they have to keep those annoyed expressions in place so as not to show it.
Every person who races at that track needs to follow certain rules, like pulling to the right to let a faster driver pass and not ruin his lap. The driver of the Ford aswell the two bike riders didn't follow this rule, therefore he has all the right to be angry.
Desmond der Mondbär lol my granny can drive fast in a straight line. As soon as those turns came up the fuck in the Audi knew he could only buy power and not skills. Sorry. It anyone can step on an accelerator. No bragging rights there fuck boi.
That was no way to react on a semi public road. Go racing if that is you passion. Get a racing license and take you car to the racing weekends! This is outright dangerous what you are doing.
Kazi2812 No it is not a race track. It is a semi public toll road. The Nordschleife is only a race track if a race is going on there and then it is closed for the public.
A semi public toll road that requires you wear a helmet and has no posted speed limits, no signage, no police enforcement, takes you nowhere, and has a permanently installed timing system. It's a racetrack. Get over it. It's arguably that most famous racetrack in the world.
This is not the first time I've seen bikes in the Nurb driving like they fucking own the road (heck they do that in open roads too)... The big issue with bikes is their cornering radius its ridiculously wide comparing it to the cars, They should maybe limit bikes to a certain hour so there aren't a lot of cars driving around... Rules at the Nurb are quite simple, Slow cars on the right, fast cars on the Left and they have right of way THIS APPLIES TO TOURIST DAYS!!!!, Bikes need both fucking lanes to corner which makes them an obstacle when fast cars are cornering... When a fast car is coming you either move the fuck out of the way or slow down because there is no way in hell you are keeping up, Those bikes might outrun the CRX in the straights but considering the Nurb is 98% Corners the CRX was by far faster than ANY BIKE in the track just because of the corners... There is no denying this, Bikes are fucking slow compared to that CRX at the Nurburgring.
skirmich You talk sense about the etiquette. But for the record, bikes aren't as slow at cornering as you make them sound. th-cam.com/video/5jtGSXef_dM/w-d-xo.html
Yes everybody knows that the crx is faster than a nismo gt-r .. amg gt R ..Aventador LP 700-4.. (all slower than the bike record 7:10) Honda basically perfected the automobile in 1983 didn't they? xdd
Touristenfahrten is not a race. You are not a racing driver. Even if you have your helmet and special gloves on. If you want to race, get a car, get a racing licence, and go race. But this is an open day and you are legally on a public road with people who may have no idea what they are doing. You have to behave accordingly. As for your driving, you could go faster if you were more confident. You have a very tense and nervous driving style. You need to practice being more relaxed, and perhaps that would also help you deal with your anger issues, which are actually more dangerous than your nervous driving style.
@@jdmk24integra It might be a race track but he is doing this on a touristenfahrten tag. Therefore you need to take account of, and be aware of other drivers. Here's a link for all the relevant info. www.greenhelldriving.nuerburgring.de/#/landing
@@cccenturion4480 and the main thing to remember on the nordschleife tourist, is be respectful of other drivers on the track, which the Ford focus driver wasn't. Basic rule is if a car is faster and right behind you, pull to the right and slow down at the nearest available chance. Holding up faster cars while sat on the racing line 'this is a racetrack not a public road' isn't the smartest of ideas.
stefan klisarov Exactly! And the rules even say that you have to let the others pass when you are slower, this to not create "jams" and chance of accidents.
I'm a biker and these guys should have give way because they really are slow and not very skilled. But the Nürburgring isn't a proper racetrack and people which are driving on it often behave stupidly and not how you can expect it on a real racetrack.
+Marty M yeah, you're right, it's not a real racetrack that's why they have the rule of pulling over to the right to allow faster vehicles to pass. ironically the bikers were the ones behaving like they were racing and not allowing the car to pass. also, expecting stupid behaviour doesn't mean you won't get angry or start swearing when you encounter it.
The No 1 problem with racing in Nurburgring is you DON'T know who are the Buckaroos who believe they are the fastest. Normally, they drive the cheapest cars.
Hyper Horse but you don't see him blocking the straight, he yields to the faster drivers, in the turns the slower should yield, it just makes for good racing.
LOL i found some comments are ridiculous. People are talking shits like "your little honda" and "share the track" but his Honda is making a better lap time than an Audi. When someone drive aggressively on the road they say "Share the road! go to a track" And now he's on a track they say "Share the track" LMAO Some are saying " You're not allowed to race on a tourist day". How about " You're not suppose to take a tour on a track day" ?
You`re way to serious for tourist days man, buy a proper car and go racing if thats what you want. Ok so the bikers were in your way, so what, they`ve also paid their money to have a lap, how would you feel if you knocked a biker off just to shave a couple of seconds from your laptime, chill out man. Get back on ps or xbox or wherever and take a chill pill.
Good driving, but: you are breaking nearly every rule. Exceeding 30 kph in the cones, not waiting to be signaled before passing, making very aggressive and dangerous passes, and pressuring other drivers to get over. Oh, yes, you're also prohibited from running recording/timing equipment on turistenfahrten.
All i see is a guy being shocked and angry that he finds amateur drivers on a public race track... what did you expect? a freaking formula 1 level of drivers there? they are not experienced to safely let you pass or are not experienced to be aware of you that easily... you want to drive with pros then become one, you dont want to dedicate your life to racing, deal with what public race tracks come with... inexperienced drivers...
southeparkfreak you missed my point mate, they could tell them to do a barrel roll when someone faster comes behind them, but it wont change the fact that they are not professional drivers, they could be nervous, in panic, too distracted from the notion of driving so fast and not paying attention too well... again, these are regular people coming on the track for a track day... you want to do your fastest lap you do it when its either not so crowded with people, or do it on a more professional level... but he has nothing to complain about, if for him its within the limits of a hobby and not a professional occupation, then there are limits to whats going to be available for him publicly... a track all to yourself or a track filled with professional drivers does not come with a hobby.
If you don't want other people slowing you down, buy the track and close it, so only you can drive at it. It's not a race, you didn't lost money, so why are you so mad? Just because you lost some seconds in your time? Grow up before driving that fast with other people. I've seen at least 2 blind turns where you were really fast, and if there was someone in the same turn, you wouldn't have time to slow down. You have good driving skills, but you don't have a good "emotional" part in your brain. Chill out next time.
i be pissed of too at the price of his tires i do understand he wants to get the most out of it and the fact that the bikers didnt kept their right to let the focus pass as they didnt seem to check behind them !but i do agree at is overkill reaction werent really mature
Thing is you don't need to buy the track. From your comment it's clear you do not road race at all. If someone faster than you is coming up behind you it's your job to be aware and pull to the side for the faster vehicle. It's actually in the rules that are gone over by every driver prior to them hitting the track. Be better informed next time you make those kind of comments.
I think the point everyone misses is that IN THE STRAIGHTS, Spazius takes the right side of the track to let them pass. From the many vids I've watched, when you seem to slow some other racers down, you need to take the ride side of the track to let them pass. Now if we watch again, the bikes are obviously cutting him in the corners, while he could have done it faster then them. Also, another to consider is the fact taht the green Ford Focus driver gets cuts in the exact same way. This could indicate newbies on the track... The frustration was justified IMHO, just not the RAGE...
I see no assholes in this video except for the bikers ... The video poster did well on the track : Good driving, no risks taken back to other people, thanks people for being overtaken, etc People who're hating the CRX's driver, should have never been doing (more than) one lap on Nurb, I've had the same situation many times, people like those bikers are just idiots : not watching mirrors/won't let the follower pass, just letting horsepower carry them in straight lines but beeing slow in curves, that's just awful ... Well done Spazius
Looks like a fun run. Getting irritated is understandable, but as someone who probably will never get a chance to run at the nurburgring, you should cherish the fact that you are able to go there at all, in my opinion. What I wouldn't do to get a chance to drive there, even a single lap.
Very aggressive driving. It was so stressful to watch. 10 and a half minutes of youtube video were a lot more exciting than any action movie today can be. Man, it takes muscles to turn that steering wheel while driving like this.
Don't waist your time replying back too all the haters, good drive man! Nice double clutch down shift. I wish I was there with you to compete against, too bad I live in washington state America where there's no good tracks to drive on, anyway great drive.
Great driving. Clearly the car is a handful with so much understeer. As for the bikers.... Pffff they must be new. There is an etiquette at the ring. An etiquette that was perfectly observed by every car until the bikers. If you're faster you pass on the left. if you're slow you indicate and let the guy behind pass safely. If you are a biker you only have 2 wheels and you can not break the laws of physics and go faster than a car in the 147 corners. Bikes are slower. Thats physics 101 so let the fucking cars through. The guy was angry and he had every right to be angry after an epic lap in an average car was fucked up by 2 fucking idiots.
If you drove for more than half of the track without a car in your rear view mirror and suddenly there's one, you should bloody know you're slower. If this was in a endurance race i would've rammed the cyclists asses sky high. No manners and no following Nurburgring rules, why should you be there
LOLWUT612 True, it's public. And perhaps the rider forgot the rules of public days and thought this is a track day or race event and he has the rights to professionally block or prevent passing.
Whoa, as if this would be his track. Maybe a nice time, but he needa to work on his anger and realise that this track is not his own private property. There is no obligation to drive fast at all.
who cares about safety when going fast?if you really want to have a extremely safe track day, might as well hypermile the track like Car Throttle once did!
As a biker, I wish bikes weren't allowed on the Nurburgring at the same time as cars.
Every track I go to it's segregated by motorsport for track days. No cars and bikes together, to dangerous.

@@MrPowernik ja, ja
@Aurora Borealis as a both car & bikes driver I think no trucks should be allowed on traffic lol
@Mat Kanjo No bicycle only walk

@@hippievogelei Faster in the corners, let them pass. Then pass them if you're faster on the straight sections! Simple no maths involved! 👍😊🏴
its still touristenfahrten not even a trackday. setting pr or even timing your lap isnt allowed.
You handle the F**k outta that Honda, bro!

+ㅤㅤ but they would of only ended up passing the car on the straight.
Clear?
+Spitfires ppl are just stupid sometimes... no matter what u say, they say it is the same the bike will be faster than the car on the straight lol
+irius koid (可爱草泥马)
It's funny that some people think lapping the 'ring is some kind of race against whoever else is there, like a real-life Gran Turismo or something.
Those 3 idiots didn't respect him.
Thats what i mean , everyone should just have more respect for each other , not too much to ask?

Mate, you could upload of video of an old man talking about a lovely walk he went on with his brother when they were kids and it would trigger groups as it wouldn't be representative of other genders, races, sexualities and all the other idiotic stuff we are being divides over.
The reason why he was frustrated was because the bikes were on the racing line even when they knew they were much slower than the cars behind them. Also, it was the end of the lap. That's the worst time to be slowed down, even after such a good lap. In my opinion, cars and bikes should't be on the same track at the same time. Good driving man, and I know your frustration
That was a really good lap time, I didn't know you could enter the Carousel so hard.
This driver is exactly what you don’t want on an open track session ! Several times he was right on the edge, also timing, overtaking on the right - it was an open public day his attitude was terrible, shame the Ring doesn’t see this and ban him for a year
Bra when this was filmed you were allowed to set times
@@bradtheraptortrainer1718 SK was one the guys on a bike though who had no skill, but couldn't stomach letting a CRX pass him.
Fair play, this guy is much quicker than everyone else.
It’s touristenfahren. You aren’t meant to race or so time laps as it’s forbidden. This guy is a c£&t
Lol are you fucking dumb? Goddamn these kids who thinks to know everything
Agree- He needs to calm down a bit. Its a track day, not a race.

Uhh, that's how you drive a light FWD street car on the track quickly. RWD requires more finesse, FWD hatches need to be tossed around quite a bit.

But did you ever go for a heat karting? i did 20-30heats on the local gokart track, for that little 10-15 minutes you come by some idiotic gokart drivers that think they can drive and wont let you pass even under a blue flag. once you finally past them you waisted a lap.

Back on point, I wear a helmet, undershirt, long sleeve cotton T shirt, goretex jacket, jeans, composite "steel" toe shoes, gloves and I have a fire extinguisher within reach.

This makes me miss my old red CRX Si. Going through backroads and curves. It wasn't the fastest but it was fun as hell to drive it.
Very good driving. Enjoyed watching
I can totally comprehend.
(but not like this!)
Surely not the end of the world but at this very moment, pretty much everyone in his position is going to be pissed. Especially because these people actually must have seen him but were full of ignorance.
Not everybody has the confidence to push their car to the limit. Some go there just to have fun and improve.
Travis Edward such lame ass people must allow to pass everybody.
Like they weren't even on the track...!
Gotta say, that Honda is pretty darn good at holding it's speed through the corners.
Very nice drive, pushing that crx like it was designed to be.
And besides, he's Italian, and have you ever known an Italian not to be passionate?
the game has rules, like all games, is not free.
@@catjudo1 there you go an awesome comment like that is priceless that's what i've found too.

I'm sure the folks on the sidewalk are expressing admiration for my stress easing rants, but they have to keep those annoyed expressions in place so as not to show it.
You're a really good driver man. And ballsy.
I agree, would have been a good lap.
Why so angry? They are paying to race too. This track isnt only yours.
Every person who races at that track needs to follow certain rules, like pulling to the right to let a faster driver pass and not ruin his lap.
The driver of the Ford aswell the two bike riders didn't follow this rule, therefore he has all the right to be angry.
ricardo rodrigues Stop talkin bullshit !!
You arent even allowed To drive hotlaps at the Nürburgring !
Julian Duepre
so you go there for tea i suppose?
Julian Duepre Nobody cares if youre not allowed to do "hot laps" its a track .
Another guy who never been there and doesn't know the rules of circuit...
The Audi TT at the bgeinning is like...."pfff, fuck you crx I'm gone...VROOOOOOOOOOOOOOM"
You have never driven on a race track, you probably now own a diesel TT..... well done
More like, "Hey CRX, why you have such a better race line than me!?" LUL>
Desmond der Mondbär lol my granny can drive fast in a straight line. As soon as those turns came up the fuck in the Audi knew he could only buy power and not skills. Sorry. It anyone can step on an accelerator. No bragging rights there fuck boi.
Corners hurt for Audi drivers.
Audi haven't made a decent handling car in years.
Wow its very hard to accelerate on straight , dumbass
He has a lot of lose thing rattling around and I hear a wining in his axle. Good drive. Thanks for the video.
Thumbs down for that ridiculous censor beeping.

this guy is AMAZING!
your swearing beep is too loud it wakes my whole fucking neighbors off
That was no way to react on a semi public road. Go racing if that is you passion. Get a racing license and take you car to the racing weekends! This is outright dangerous what you are doing.
Mate..
Thats a race track.
OTL
lol!
Your a idiot its a race track and hes alot more than you he probably has his own shop wtf do you drive a fiat
@@jdmk24integra It might be a race track but he is doing this on a touristenfahrten tag. Therefore you need to take account of, and be aware of other drivers. Here's a link for all the relevant info.

Who the fek are you Bjørn Borud?
The simon Cowell of the race driver judging?

damit dude...you were supposed to enjoy it...and not to get angry because someone is slow...
Yeah with 150 euro for the lap and some retards ruining your otherwise great driving it is normal to get pissed off
Awesome driving !
stefan klisarov 150 per lap?! I checked a few minutes ago and it was 27 per lap
stefan klisarov Exactly! And the rules even say that you have to let the others pass when you are slower, this to not create "jams" and chance of accidents.
6:49 wow moment
I'm a biker and these guys should have give way because they really are slow and not very skilled. But the Nürburgring isn't a proper racetrack and people which are driving on it often behave stupidly and not how you can expect it on a real racetrack.
+Marty M yeah, you're right, it's not a real racetrack that's why they have the rule of pulling over to the right to allow faster vehicles to pass. ironically the bikers were the ones behaving like they were racing and not allowing the car to pass. also, expecting stupid behaviour doesn't mean you won't get angry or start swearing when you encounter it.
+Marty M The Nürburgring is not a proper racetrack? Huh that's interesting.
He drives very well.. Respect! And yeah those bikers ruined his lap time..
You sir are one hell of a driver!!!!!
Du bist ein unglaublicher Fahrer
The No 1 problem with racing in Nurburgring is you DON'T know who are the Buckaroos who believe they are the fastest. Normally, they drive the cheapest cars.
Watching the bikes fly down the final straight made me laugh.
Hyper Horse but you don't see him blocking the straight, he yields to the faster drivers, in the turns the slower should yield, it just makes for good racing.
@@treatb09 sportsmanship is all that matters
I really like how this guy wheels the car around. Very nice commitment.
LOL i found some comments are ridiculous.
People are talking shits like "your little honda" and "share the track"
but his Honda is making a better lap time than an Audi.
When someone drive aggressively on the road they say
"Share the road! go to a track"
And now he's on a track they say "Share the track" LMAO
Some are saying " You're not allowed to race on a tourist day".
How about " You're not suppose to take a tour on a track day" ?
thankyou
Damn this dude fuckin destroyed the carousel! I wouldnt have thought it possible to go that fast through it with a CRX

what about the brakes?..
remzoli if he has carbon ceramic brakes you need to put heat into them before they really start working. Idk if he actually does tho
Shnurpy Altf he probably is trying to put heat in his brakes or get water out of them
You`re way to serious for tourist days man, buy a proper car and go racing if thats what you want.
Ok so the bikers were in your way, so what, they`ve also paid their money to have a lap, how would you feel if you knocked a biker off just to shave a couple of seconds from your laptime, chill out man.
Get back on ps or xbox or wherever and take a chill pill.
Actually, that's a great car to learn the track, handles decent, not of enough power to kill ourselves, then move up to a bigger HP car!
-GA- Mancsfinest nah, I drove my eg Into a tree and that only has 50 more hp
That car's handling is a handful. Most people would have spun it off into the fence on one of the first turns.

Well open track days are not time attack. If you wanna break records youll have to rent the track. lol
Still, the bikers should move for faster traffic.
You are not alone on the world. Keep cool, have fun and try it again next time.
BTW, the guard rails are closer than you believe.
8:30 in 25 years old Honda?? You are fantastic driver!!!
All i see is a guy being shocked and angry that he finds amateur drivers on a public race track... what did you expect? a freaking formula 1 level of drivers there? they are not experienced to safely let you pass or are not experienced to be aware of you that easily...
you want to drive with pros then become one, you dont want to dedicate your life to racing, deal with what public race tracks come with... inexperienced drivers...
beepIL
I thought that they tell you to let faster vehicles overtake you before you enter the track. They should have let him overtake them.
southeparkfreak you missed my point mate,
they could tell them to do a barrel roll when someone faster comes behind them, but it wont change the fact that they are not professional drivers, they could be nervous, in panic, too distracted from the notion of driving so fast and not paying attention too well... again, these are regular people coming on the track for a track day... you want to do your fastest lap you do it when its either not so crowded with people, or do it on a more professional level... but he has nothing to complain about, if for him its within the limits of a hobby and not a professional occupation, then there are limits to whats going to be available for him publicly... a track all to yourself or a track filled with professional drivers does not come with a hobby.
beepIL I understand your point and I agree, they shouldn't be blamed for it. Even though they are wrong, it's understandable.
beepIL Nothing more to say. A noob who tries hard. Ridoculous...
Awesome record! IMO is all about enter and exiting turns.
Chill out next time.
das wären die 8 min. gewesen danke biker
i be pissed of too at the price of his tires i do understand he wants to get the most out of it and the fact that the bikers didnt kept their right to let the focus pass as they didnt seem to check behind them !but i do agree at is overkill reaction werent really mature

Anger Management.
I love the beeps. It’s music to my ears
The video poster did well on the track : Good driving, no risks taken back to other people, thanks people for being overtaken, etc
People who're hating the CRX's driver, should have never been doing (more than) one lap on Nurb, I've had the same situation many times, people like those bikers are just idiots : not watching mirrors/won't let the follower pass, just letting horsepower carry them in straight lines but beeing slow in curves, that's just awful ... Well done Spazius
No matter how angry you are, never try to advance on the right.
Looks like a fun run. Getting irritated is understandable, but as someone who probably will never get a chance to run at the nurburgring, you should cherish the fact that you are able to go there at all, in my opinion.
What I wouldn't do to get a chance to drive there, even a single lap.
***** Oh, you're that kind of guy... Only because you have a expensive car doesn't mean you have racing skills.
You pay for evry turn and when you have some moto they are alway slowler in turn...
We'll said mate
Finally someone who actually know the rules of the track.
I can't wait to visit next year with my 89 CRX HF!!! It's going to be a hell of a time!!!
Asshole bikers ruining lap times for a joy ride. Still not bad numbers though.
Awesome driving !!! Big respect to you my friend
Good drive, feel sorry for you when they fucked up your lap. At least you've got a very clean track until that happens.
This guy really knows how to drive!
I remember playing this map on Grand Turismo 4 took ages to cross the line and finish. It's really big.
Whoa, as if this would be his track. Maybe a nice time, but he needa to work on his anger and realise that this track is not his own private property. There is no obligation to drive fast at all.
There *is* an obligation to move right and let faster vehicles pass. Blocking is prohibited; his anger is justified.
who cares about safety when going fast?if you really want to have a extremely safe track day, might as well hypermile the track like Car Throttle once did!
