@@hungryghost96 I can understand being used to a singer (in this case Wakana), but if we follow that logic then we could also say anytime FictionJunction or Kalafina covers a song by FJ Yuuka, See-Saw, or even Emily Bindiger and others it sounds "wrong". We should be able to extend our appreciation beyond a particular singer being by on stage. I'm personally a fan of different High-level singers singing songs that have been sung by others, especially if the same composer /arranger is in charge.
@@TheSeeking2know This song wasn´t made for FictionJunction, was made for Kalafina. Wakana had a perfect color and texture for the harmonies in this song. Joelle has a great voice, but it just doesn't make justice to the overall powerful feeling that Magia conveys.

I get goosebump when I heard the intro and when they start singing....man....how should I explain this feeling? My body is trembling in fear and I can't close my eyes at all. I just submit on my knee and watch it over and over again. What a masterpiece!

She was just so different from the other singers I'd been hearing. I'm glad that working with Kajiura has exposed her to a bigger audience and also taken her to the Budokan as a performer, which may not have happened otherwise. She needs to keep working with FJ and maybe she'll do some more anime tie-in leads, making her voice more memorable to anime watchers. She's had to endure a lot of comparisons to Wakana from disaffected fans, but she's weathered the storm as a professional.

I think you're right. In the studio version Kajiura's voice was there (layered) with Keiko's for that chanting at the beginning. Wakana and Hikaru did the middle harmony, while Yuriko's voice was probably doubled for the higher harmony.

去年の１２月に開催された梶浦由紀のフェス。梶浦ファミリーの歌手が集合したそうな。
このBDは内容がいいのは言うまでもありません。しかし、制作人にはっきり言う、カメラのピントが残念なカットが多い
そう、お値段すごく高いのにアングルとか抜くタイミングが下手すぎる。今までのはこんなに酷くないんだけど。見せ場理解してなすぎるし、顔が隠れてる方からしか撮れてないとか、歌ってないパートなのに映るとか本当に良くない。綺麗な音質画質で名曲が記録されただけマシかなと思うようにしてるけど…
多数のカメラで同時に撮影している筈だから、編集の問題かな？
貝田さんのコーラスがハマってないの初めて聞いたかもしれない。magiaにwakanaのイメージ強くはないけど、大事だったのがよく分かる。
CDのクレジット確認したけど原曲でも貝田さんコーラス入れてるよ
サビのところは単にwakanaパートのボリュームが大きいのが違和感何じゃないかな。
エエェェ〜のとこはたぶん原曲と同じコーラス割だし、違和感ない。wakanaも少し癖のある声質(歌い方？)だったからJoelleさんがサビも担当した方が違和感はなかった気もする。
私はKalafina無き今Kalafinaの歌を歌い継いでくれるだけでありがたい。
なんならイントロのコーラスは梶浦さんの声をひたすら重ねて作ってる気がしてます
