Exploring The Pinnacles of Putangirua - NEW ZEALAND

- Putangirua is located toward the southern tip of the North Island, about two hours drive from the capital city Wellington.
Erosion over millions of years have resulted in unusual rock formations known as the Pinnacles of Putangirua.
In this episode I check out the area on foot and launch my drone at the end of the video for a unique perspective from above.

"Here was good but down there is better" literally what every Aussie says about NZ! Bloody spectacular indeed. I have never heard about them (not a LOTR fan) but wow nature at its best. Must admit l had to watch it twice second time to see what l missed while looking at the Tattoos!! We have some great ones near Crater Lake .. in fact if you visit Crater Lake make some extra time to visit the Pinnacles there... they are fun!! :) Nature certainly provides some entertainment huh> ?? :D Another great video Finn, Keep it up!!
Muchisimas Gracias @HIVOLCO 😃!! I’ve just googled the Oregon pinnacles and am in awe - looks like we are both living in a slice of heaven on earth with Oregon and NZ have many similarities 😍. Pandemic, just end already!! I’ll be there the moment international travel opens fully.
@@FinnDelMundoTravel I just returned to Oregon from Texas.. It was fun there also, but not nearly as pretty! I really loved the more relaxed Southern Culture.. Music in the streets, great food -> Tex/Mex and the hospitality ranks high! After that trip I am a little hesitant to head back to Mexico given mixed messages regarding restrictions there. As you experienced some closures of many parks, I am not sure I will go this year.. I also have Hawaii on my mind.. LOL Snow in the forecast this weekend so I will be bundled up for that! :D

The erosion that created The Pinnacles has also effected the sea water (which I left out of the video). You will notice it when driving around the coastline, the sediment has made the water a chalky bright blue😃!!
