People need to take note that the servos' specs are advertised running at 8.4 volts but the Traxxas ESCs only output 6.0 volts so the specs will be around 70% less torque and almost 30% slower.
You should try the servo I run in my rockbouncer. It’s the shiftrcs gt3, 1025oz in at 8.4v, speed is .124sec at 8.4v. Love shiftrcs they’re a family owned business and the owner Ryan is a super nice guy, also lifetime warranty on servo gears and 1yr warranty on electronics.
I exclusively run NitroPro servos now. 1/8 and 1/10. CT2s in my 1/8 stuff. RT2s in my 1/10. I do have a CT1 in my 1/10 truck too. Also ran the 6500 LCG packs when I still ran ebuggy. All are amazing.
This may sound stupid to some but I'm trying to learn more on the servos. How do I know what servo to purchase for my bashers? Like right now I'm trying to get one for my Erevo 2.0 and I have seen people only put one in and when you get the car new, it has two servos. I just wanna know how to know what spline I need and how to tell witch spline I need as well as how to tell what servo or servos I need to get or to get an upgrade from original. I wanna have more powerful servos in my rigs. I really enjoyed this video and I think you had another one on those servos. I wanna try those servos out and with that warranty with them, why not! If they are good servos, the warranty alone makes them worth the buy. Keep up the great work Mark! I hope to hear back from you.
I gave a 500 series in my B6.2...absolutely tank...and I've put that thing through the wringer running novice. I've replaced my servo horn three times but my servo is still going strong
I was wondering when u put that servo in the sledge( 700).. u think the cable will reach or need to add. Cause I am using mine for the track and would like to try this servo.
The R/C community is so tight I guess you could say, someone is always talking about someone else's products or work, on how good they are, very cool hobby to be in. Everybody supports each other....
can anyone tell me why Proline discontinued all their one piece SC, 2.8, 3.8 wheels? I'm not a fan of their new replaceable hex wheels. I see where some people might like them but why stop producing on all the existing versions? I'm old-school and want a lighter wheel that's solid.
If I'm spending that kind of money, they'd better be comparable to Reefs servos. I don't know if I'll ever get a spendy servo like those. They are gorgeous though. I will admit, they have some pretty damn impressive specs

Wow are they really 70%? That seems like a ton for only 1.4 volts
