" The house that produces the most spice will control Dune. There are no set territories and no rules of Engagement. " - The Padishah Emperor Frederick.
beautiful! I watched the intro like 1000 time (the original) so I can tell that the music was a little ahead compared to the video. Also the woman voice of the intro is very important IMO. Great work.
This fight DEMANDS you toss the Kid Gloves away and do everything in your power to win. Render sections of Arrakis uninhabitable by toxins? Unleashing Atomic Hellfire upon Sietches? Putting places like Arakeen to the torch? All acceptable.
The fact I got goosebumps listening to this, especially at the crescendo depicting the three Houses, means this track is amazing. I thought the MT-32 made the track great but you made it *better*.
Goosebumps and euphoria since 1994! I can not articulate these sensations accurately nor can I emphasise the intensity of these ‘feels’ this game and it’s soundtrack has had on me for the past two and a half decades.
Jeff Mitchell Yes, Dune: Dynasties sounds goods, or even Dune: Sands of War. I think the only people I would trust to do the remake are either modders who are passionate fans of the game, or small independent studios who have a burning desire to modernise it whilst retaining the look and feel of the original. Like making the heavy troopers armed with both a small rocket launcher and minigun, faithfully remaster the sound effects and music tracks, and keeping the suspense of the early missions (“Enemy units approaching from the east.” Combat music starts playing) and the visceral adrenaline-rush of the late-game.
Ivan this is great work. You've managed to reduce all the problems associated with sampling and timbre that comes with wavetable sound and I think really create the orchestral 'feel' of what the original piece was going for. Very contemporary and a fantastic remake of the original MIDI by Frank Klepacki.
Cool! I came here when I was looking for a cover of "Credits" music from Dune 2 Dynasty. But I found your "Intro" version! This is a great job! I hope some day you will make "Credits" part too.

right in the childhood!
Always the best :)

This is... wow. Goosebumps... how can this not even have 10.000 views?! Seriously, what the heck. Such an awesome cover! 🙌
This is extraordinarily beautiful!! I wish to hear orchestration version of other tracks of Dune II.
This is genius! I feel like I have been waiting for this for, well 25 years - since I first heard that intro soundtrack. Thank you!
I'm glad you like it that much) Thank you! Your wonderful words give me a great inspiration!
Luca Valerio well said brother 🤝
Sheer epicness

Love this version. Hope you could make all the Dune II tracks from the game... they rock as fell!
"There are no set territories, and no rules of engagement." ... when the Great Convention is thrown out the window, it's ON!
What next? Atomics? Smuggled lasers? ;-)

I know this cover doesn't have the voices or the sound effects, but I still hear them when watching....
Same. I played the game when I was about 4 or 5 years old, the music stuck in my head.
Wowww !!! AWESOME !! This is a masterpiece
This is absolutely stunning, now I want to play Dune again!
Majestically done, sir!

Somebody needs to hire this guy and get him to compose the music soundtrack for a future Dune 2 remake if it ever happens.

awesome! you are incredibly talented, man! never heard anything like it. Bill Brown nervously smokes on the sidelines)
wow!!
You should remake the entire soundtrack. It is brilliant.
Awesome !!!!! Incredible !! Why only 2k views ????
❤️❤️❤️!!!
Had this game on Amiga as a kid. Good times
With that low framerate, no sound and orchestral music, it feels like some WWII newsreel.
you are awesome
Before I heard it was Instalike.
After I heard it's Instasubcribe.
Congratulations.
cool !
Imagine a modern remake of dune 2
You open it up and here this.
Why Hans Zimmer did not took any of these melodies for the movies
Самое что запомнилось с детства(((
Me too mate!!
Underrated
DAMN, DAMN DAMN! WHY THERE ARE NO BIGGER LETTERS? Awesome

Are you doing one for the credits theme too? I like that song most of the superb Dune 2 ost.
This is great! Is there sheet music for this?
Жаль что так мало просмотров(
вау это круто

у вас есть чему поучиться, в плане аранжировки)
а по русски описание, чтобы людям понятно было?

Very good, minor point of critique. If the guitars were real guitars it would have kicked a whole lot of ass more
