There’s no shortage of World War II vintage jeeps right live in Thailand, but the bodies are often pretty trashed. I’m sure I’ll be able to take advantage of your videos at some point in the future to help me with my restoration. Thanks a lot!
Yes, we had to drill holes for the paddels. Cutting off that little metal edge underneath was necessary to get the clutch padel working. The body tub did not fit 100%.
How big of a problem is rust in Germany? Here in the USA rust is really bad in the upper middle states AKA the “rust belt” but it’s not a big issue on the west coast
I have used tons of Mike Sanders Wax on the Recon and also on the Willys to protect both against rust. But, I do not drive the Willys in bad weather conditions.

Did you still have to cut a hole in the bottom of the tub for the clutch pedal? Or was it achieved by cutting off that little flange underneath?

I got it from REOMIE Netherlands.
Much complicated work. MD Juan should Take proper measurements and improvise.
