Surprisingly I've actually never tried Arlan before, maybe one day once I have enough leftover materials I'll try him out and see cause the early days where people said Arlan was bad definitely impacted my opinion towards him and then I kinda got afraid to level him up
@yakusokumochi Arlan was my first main in hsr so I have him pretty well built and he can surprisingly dish out 300-600k ults depending on the team comp + 50-160k skills!
oh, i'd like to add just one more thing: getting e2 bronya could be REALLY fun....i don't have sparkle so I can't test it in bronya sparkle yet (unless I decide to. uh. yeah), but it could enable blade to reach up to 160 spd, which is the next threshold, I wonder if you could potentially run something where the cycle starts out normally enough: sparkle (pulls up blade), bronya (pulls up blade again), but then the rotation changes to: blade, sparkle, bronya. so, that's potentially an extra turn per rotation that you could do if you ever nab bronya e2. i know I'll try something like that if I get sparkle, lol. the only issue is that speedtuning is hella annoying in this game ROFL

if the turn order is super fast blade then slightly slower(-1) sparkle then bronya slightly slower(-1) it doesnt work, sparkle wont pull him up fully and then bronya acts before blade.
I'd like everyone to keep in mind we have yet to get a Planar Ornament exclusive to Blade or Counter Type characters, can you imagine if we can have more aggro on a Planar? That'd be a crazy good buff for Blade lol Also nice to see BA music, makes the video cooler xD
actually something that I'm interested in the next patch is actually one of the lightcones, it could be a really good buff for Blade, or atleast an interesting build to use BA musics are absolutely fire, definitely improved a lot of videos with those bgm so I'm glad to see you enjoyed it!

I really enjoyed uising Blade + Jade cuz Jade realy helps at giving extra stacks to Blade's passive, helping him to unleash his FUA, besides giving him speed, and a little damage buff, Blade might lose a little bit of personal damage without sparkle, but the damage distribution between him and Jade are pretty enjoyable, Jade might not be the best at doing MOC but i did MOC 11 with 2 cycles, (plus my blade doesnt have his LC, and i used luocha too due to me not having Huo Huo/Fu Xuan). Nice video btw, I'm considering on pulling for Blade's LC.
The Blade + Jade combo sounds broken as a whole, they work really well with each other with one needing FUA to do her FUA and another one needs his HP reduced to do his FUA which you can make it faster by using skill with Jade and then, yeah. If you think you need his lightcone then go for it, it's a really nice QoL with its 18% CrRate at S1

oooo that's actually a tough question to answer, I personally prefer getting his LC first mainly for comfort cause it gives CrRate and also dmg bonus, his E1 is decent but I think getting his LC first is the better option
hp/atk boots are what i mostly use on characters because my builds are good enough to the point where i would rather kill them with less attacks than do less damage but have more attacks. also, there are supports that just passively boost speed such as ruan mei! my only speed boots dps are boothill xueyi and himeko cause they're break focused
ah I see, I completely forgot Ruan Mei buffs speed though lmao. Anyways during the early days I also built most of my DPS with ATK/HP boots mainly because I wasn't focusing on MoC too much, but around version 1.4-1.5 I watched a few guides and most people recommended SPD boots, so I guess that's why I changed to SPD boots. Since then though I've never really watched guides and built my characters however I want but those guides did impact my choice of using SPD boots. Thank you for your opinion on it! This actually did help me a lot in understanding why people would choose ATK/HP more instead of SPD
yeah uh I don't have Jade, I tried getting her but I didn't manage to get her, I just didn't have enough pulls. I could continue pulling but I'd rather save up those pulls for a future character that I don't have
8480 hp, 84% cr and 195 % cd e1s1 blade here 👋, in the early days i somehow got lucky and pulled his e1s1 for less than 70 pulls and although people put him in a bad tierlist somehow he still carried me in moc until 2.2 before i managed to get firefly

God if I had known sooner that Blade performed much better with HP boots instead of SPD, especially with Bronya-Sparkle. But I still think your Blade is better just because I've got too much CrRate compared to CrDmg while you also have more HP, I just need a better body piece and that's it

I honestly don't see it as something forbidden, though to be fair I've always used Blade + Fu Xuan ever since Fu Xuan's release so I guess I'm used to it I definitely get you there, I also want to save up for a high eidolon Blade (initially wanted E6) but like, sooner or later he'll have a rough time beating like Stage 11 of MoC while newer characters can beat it in like 1-0 cycle. So there really isn't a good excuse for me to get E6, but that doesn't mean I can't show atleast some appreciation for the character that carried me to this day so yeah, thank you!
It nice to see a fellow blade enjoyed, my e0s1 blade build is: 8.5k hp, 97spd, 58,2/211 crit with hp orb was really lucky to get a 34.9 and 22 crit dmg rope and orb. Every single moc stage with wind weakness he 0 cycle it no matter the buff with e2s1 bronya, e1 blacksan and e0s1 ruan mei
gosh I wish I had E2 Bronya, someone else mentioned that her E2 is broken with Blade but unfortunately my Bronya luck is nearly non-existent. A bit lower on thr CrRate for stats but he already gets a lot of CrRate from his kit so I guess that should be fine. Interesting though you're using Black Swan with Blade
just friendly advice but you should consider speed tuning your supports: sparkle > bronya > blade this way, you can utilize sparkle's 50% aa fully and you wont struggle with her bringing blade up. of course, bronya being slower doesnt mean much cuz her skill has an 100% aa
at first my thought process was if Sparkle was first, she'd only advance Blade's action before Bronya's turn, meaning that I'd waste 2 SP for 1 turn but someone else pointed out that exact same tip and then I realized that the earlier thing would only happen if Blade attacked first, which of course in this situation it won't cause he's slower than Bronya or Sparkle, anyways thank you for still pointing that out
we did get a small buff recently with Jade, but that doesn't really improve Blade's own personal dmg. And to be honest I don't see him getting a dedicated support soon, but one can hope right?

This is so relatable, ive exclusively been farming longevous/ rutilant for the past YEAR but my best chest piece is just a speed stick (exactly 9 like you!!) with cd main stat. I didn't pull sparkle bc I dislike her character but I have no regrets, just waiting for another 2 Bronya copies to fall onto my lap somehow. My account is cursed with Himeko but otherwise quite lucky, I've built three complete longevous sets now and all my supports are decked out with either 2 or 4 pc hackerspace, each with their own broken keel er ropes. After building Lynx when I scored her e6, Luocha has been slowly rotting in a corner, he carried me for a while as a noob but now he is my biggest reget😭 HOYO WHEN WILL YOU GIVE US HP SCALING SUPPORTS?? I dont care if Blade isnt meta, he's my first and favorite character and I would dump whats left of my wallet to make him better, even by a little. Great showcase btw, the past 2 moc have honestly been a struggle with how much break meta was being pushed, and my lack of limited supports. I'm looking forward to pulling for Blade's eidolons and potential supports in the future, wishing yoi the best of luck because you deserve it!!🎉🎉🎉
Oh this is going to be a long read That's insane that both of our best CrDmg pieces on the longevous set both have 9 SPD, what a coincidence that is. I'd honestly prefer to be cursed with Himeko instead of someone like Yanqing, Bailu, Gepard or Clara lmao. Atleast I can still use her for Pure Fiction so it ain't all bad, but yeah I can see the frustration with the Himeko if you're only hoping to get Bronya. It's kinda unfortunate that there are very few characters that can use the longevous set, the only other character I can think of is probably Yunli or Clara but even then both of them have better sets that they can use. Though the good thing is that the hackerspace set is quite universal. Interesting, this is actually my first time seeing someone regretting getting Luocha, though I'm not too certain how big the healing gap is between E6 Lynx and E0 Luocha. You could still use Luocha for your second team, but that really depends on what dps you're using. The only time that I can see them releasing an HP scaling support would be when they release another HP scaling dps that has the same or similar HP mechanics to Blade. For some reason it didn't even cross my mind that the past few MoC cycles have been absolute hell for most crit-based dps besides Acheron. That might be why I've been struggling a lot with the last few phases of MoC. Anyways then thank you for your support!
@@yakusokumochi Lynx's single target healing is actually considerably worse than healers like Luocha or even Gallagher, though it could just be because I built her hyperspeed to keep up with the sp demand. The actual healing difference doesn't matter too much since I'm mostly using Lynx for the max hp buff (still can't get a good hp orb for the life of me so i'm using wind dmg as placeholder), and using her with shared feeling to spam skill and battery the team without the rng of quid pro quo. It makes sense that another hp scaling dps would powercreep Blade, just like the trend of most new characters coming out with dual scaling (Firefly, Jiaoqiu, Boothill)... BUT I still love my Blade and pull future supports even if he is not in their best in slot team😭 Just yesterday I started farming pioneer/ watchmaker and though I'm proud I let go of my Longevous obsession, the whiplash of not seeing Mr. Malefic Ape in the second phase hit me like a truck. I didn't get any good pieces and was tempted to crawl back to longevous like the trash I am but seeing your video inspired me! Unless you're a max refresher or just insanely lucky, good builds don't get completed overnight, it's a gradual shifting around of various pieces until you look at the stats and feel satisfied for once. So thank you for showing what's possible with enough dedication and braincells necessary to give a proper Bladie showcase💕
Go for it! He might not be the most effective Wind DPS but if you really enjoy his playstyle then that's all that matters, atleast in my eyes. I've used him in every end-game gamemodes for a year and to this day he's still really good

I can't really test out Jade + Blade cause I don't have Jade in this account, but if I were to guess... I think so? Jade helps fuel Blade's FUA which is a huge portion of his dmg and also gives Blade some needed SPD, while Sparkle gives CrDmg and Dmg Bonus. In PF, using Jade would definitely be better but in MoC I'm not too sure, I think it really depends on whether you like doing more frequent dmg (Jade) or doing more dmg per attack (Sparkle). For AS I'm pretty certain Jade's better, atleast in this current cycle. That's my opinion on it but like I said earlier, I don't have Jade so I can't say it with full certainty
I'll get him once his banner got rerun. His play style is fun and as a new player I want to collect all Stellaron Hunters too (I started playing at Firefly's banner, luckily got her E0S1 and need another DPS for second team be it FUA or DoT)

surprisingly I don't use Blade and Ruan Mei often, mainly because Ruan Mei is with Firefly most of the time, I forgot what my highest dmg was on Blade against a single target but it was definitely decently high

I love blade as a character but it's insane how badly he's scaling over time. Like, I've seen some crazy 0 cycle Arlan MOC 12 clears with 3 harmonies, and a PERFECT relics Blade does it in 4 cycles? xD I'm not sure exactly why it came to this, but it's probably because of him scaling off HP for damage that just did not survive the test of time, clearly...
if you're comparing the 3 harmony Arlan doing 0 cycle with this Blade, then I'm afraid you're doing the wrong comparison... This isn't a perfect Blade (hence, the word "near" in the title) and for those runs you'd typically replace the sustain with another support to do more dmg, and most of the time (I'm assuming atleast cause I rarely watch 0 cycle runs) they all have high SPD and using the Dance!³ LC (again I'm just assuming here, but that's from what I've seen). I'm fairly certain that a better player that regularly does 0 cycles can do a 0 cycle Blade run Besides that though, I completely agree with how bad he's scaling nowadays. But I don't think it's because of his HP scaling, it's most likely because of low scalings in general. He was released during early version 1 where his only competition was Seele and Jing Yuan, but now? He's literally going against a character that can do 300k+ dmg with a single skill (Firefly) or against someone that has absurd scalinhs with her ult (Acheron). So it's safe to say his time is basically over if we're looking at it from a meta perspective
I don’t know if u care or not, but Jade is a really good Support/Sub DPS for Blade, but obviously less DMG would come out from Blade but more overall Team DMG would be dished out

@@yakusokumochi hp builds are for if you want to maximize on ultimate damage (C1 basically). But on enhanced attack wind damage orb is better and I'm running Crit dmg body on all builds btw.
i was already frustrated because i refarmed my speed bots for hp and my wind orb for hp (trying it out for sparkle bronya because he gets dmg% buffs from em), one entire year is a lot :O
oh wait I never thought about that, I completely forgot that Bronya and Sparkle gives a lot of dmg bonus so building HP might be more worth it compared to wind dmg. I see why a lot of people are using HP% orb on Blade now, thank you so much for enlightening me (even if it's not intended)
Im blade main with 2pc wind and 2pc hp. Support Robin+sign and Bronya+sign Ruan mei for dealing more damage follow up and his damage can reach 80k per hit single target. Sustainer huohuo for more damage Ultimate Blade
personally as a sustainer, I like Fu Xuan more cause she provides more support capabilities for Blade. She's definitely a lot riskier due to her tanking most of the dmg so she's prone to being one shot. Pretty crazy though that his dmg can reach up to 80k against a single target
I'm using set quantum with CR 60%, CD 210% ,HP around 7,8k since I'm using HP boots .. Always pair him with Jingliu and RM as dual dps..ez 80k per BA qnd 100k+ per ult, 170k per fua.
interesting, so far this is my first time from what I remember seeing someone using the 4 pc quantum on Blade atleast in this comment section (unless I forgot), even then he still hits pretty hard huh
Artifact/Relic farming in this game is such a pain in ass. I have already reached Trailblaze Level 70 and somehow don't even have any decently built characters. Genshin's Artifact grind is way more manageable than Star Rail's 😭💀
I honestly haven't found the grind to be all that tedious. I personally like HSR's relic system more compared to genshin mainly because I can afk it while doing something productive lmao. Sorry to hear your relic luck hasn't been great though, hopefully you'll have better luck in the future!
I personallt, would really like a new character that focuses on buffing a single character by sacrificing that character's HP (similar to Jade's skill), though any support is fine with me as long as it improves Blade. I unfortunately don't see that happening unless they decide to release a character that works similarly to Blade and then add a buff character for it
No brother, you still need work on your blade it's barely top 12 or 15% and I haven't checked the leaderboard, but I know where this blade stands, mained him too for an year now
admittedly it was a poor choice of words to say my Blade was at the top 1%, I've never really taken an interest in those top 1% or things like that so I just blurred out what I thought was right, I apologize for that
This is a really good blade. Try to hit 7000k hp. This will make him hit even harder. For example, my blade was 7300hp with 68/ 230 crid rate/damage. So, on average, he hit for like 89k to 97k on his first enhanced basic. When i got the hp sphere instead of an attack, he had 8400 hp, which made him hit way hicher numbers. But his crid damage went down from 230 to 214, and somehow, the crit rate stayed the same 68.4%
7 mil hp? jk but the only piece that really needs to be changed is the body piece mainly because with this build he doesn't need SPD, so I could probably reach 7k HP if I had better luck. Idk when but I'll definitely be farming for the SPD set for Bronya and Sparkle later so I'll definitely have a chance to build a better Blade
oh that's actually similar to mine, it's just you have more HP than me while I have more CV compared to you. If I had known earlier Blade doesn't really need SPD with Bronya and Sparkle I would've been done with him a loooooong time ago
I make sparkle faster than bronya bc bronya gives 100% of the time another action but sparkle doesn’t, so when u get action first with sparkle u can get another action with bronya easily! This is an advice mostly for the low speed blade’s out there!
That's actually something I was wondering about, I thought Bronya first would be better cause at first I thought Sparkle first would mean Blade would move after Bronya and then I'd waste 2 advance forward for 1 turn but uhh, completely forgot that Blade doesn't move first so Sparkle would actually advance him forward before Bronya which means more turns... Anyways thank you, I'll make sure to remember that!
i really wished i could had good stats on my himeko, poor girl doesnt have any good relic, her crit ratio is 70 to 90, and i've farming relics for her for a year as well, but it doesnt matter much, she already does a lot of damage (not that i need a dps having almost every character in the game)
Speaking from experience, I personally have had a lot of success from using a standard Herta in PF, of course good stats would be ideal but I find it quite difficult to get good relics for PF characters for some odd reason
I probably could've played him a bit more optimally, mainly with the speed tuning but I guess that still doesn't change the fact at max it'd probably take 3 cycles with the right speed tuning. Maybe 2 or 1 cycles with 160+ SPD Bronya-Sparkle
it really just depends on your luck. Ideally you want a double crit piece with 4 substats immediately and all the rolls went towards crit at the highest rolls possible but that's extremely rare to find. Typically double crit values are more valuable but single ones could be more valuable as long as it all rolls into crit. You could do a Crit Value calculation in which if you have CrRate, you multiply it by 2 and then keep CrDmg as it is. A crit value is an addition of the CrRate x 2 and CrDmg (formula is something along the lines of (CR x 2) + CD = CV)

oh wait oops I just refreshed this Y'know what, you might actually be right! Ratio, Welt, Blade, Gallagher are all characters I regularly use and they're all fun in their own unique way. There are probably a lot of other male characters that I use but I can't think of right now
Actually now that I think about it, I don't think I've ever got one either, atleast in the relic set for blade. I've gotten a few in other relic sets but for Longevous I don't think I've ever gotten one

I have an account where it was farming for DHIL's relics and no joke I spent like 2-3 patches farming that same domain and got mediocre pieces. To add more salt to the wound, apparently that relic set isn't even his best one so I basically spent a lot of TB powers for a mediocre DHIL
i really like blade, but i wish he was better bc he is so fun to play, i farmed 2 months for him and 3 months for speed pieces, so i farmed for him too by osmosis, my E0s0 blade has 60/150 with 6500 hp with arlan lc, and he hits like wet noodles lol, i wish he was stronger at base level
I mean he was pretty solid during the early days, but I guess his time to shine is already over, he's still quite strong even now but not in the level of Acheron and Firefly where they can just breeze through most contents in the game as long as you have decent pieces

He will always best play with bronya, i even play sparkle or robin with them too Hp boots will give him more damage output than 131 speed that cant even cover 3 turns in 1 cycle.. Just let the speed handled by bronya and others And I dare to say my Blade has better damage than this one.
Yeah I noticed that during this video, especially with Bronya-Sparkle so sacrificing SPD (which is like 1 turn for Bronya-Sparkle teams) for more dmg is definitely worth it
I forgot what my Acheron stats were but it was definitely NOT that good, for me personally, getting high crit on Acheron is extraordinarily difficult mainly because of bad luck so I'm actually really jealous of those stats
Is Blade srill worth it to build?I got him in his rerun after i quitte the game like 2 times ;-; but I really want to invest in him so Im sondering If hé is srill a good character I can use
If I'm being honest, efficiency wise Blade's not the best option to build cause he needs a lot of investment and even with a lot of investment he's not as strong as characters like Firefly or Acheron. I don't really know whether you like HP-draining mechanics or not but if you do he's 100% worth it to build cause he's just super fun to use, especially with all of the FUAs. But if you've got limited stamina, then I don't really recommend investing in him as much as it hurts me to say this...
most likely gold and gears, swarm disaster is just a bit too limiting in the dice department. I haven't played a lot of G&G in this account though so my skill tree isn't really that high of a level, which might be a problem

As much as I love him, his dmg is severely lacking in this current cycle and I'm afraid he'll only get worse from here. My only hope is that he'll get a dedicated support but I don't see that happening anytime soon, if they did it's probably a dedicated support for a new character that has similar mechanics to Blade
that's actually really good, especially because Blade needs CrDmg more than CrRate. Though I'm curious to test out salsotto and Blade's other planar set that I forgot the name of that increases NA and skill dmg

not really, I forgot what the specific numbers are but with 4 pc longevous and Fu Xuan (which is like a 24% CrRate increase iirc), those are enough buffs for Blade to guarantee a crit everytime he attacks
@@yakusokumochi he has 69 , he gets 28 from fu xuan and the relics set bonus so 97 , 97 isn't enough since he didn't get any crit rate rolls in the body so it is better to find better body
I don't think so? Most DPS characters prefer using their element dmg bonus because they get very few dmg bonuses in their kit, which includes Blade. While you get HP% from his rope, and boots if you're running an HP% one and also more HP% from his signature and then more from traces. Overall Dmg Bonus scales much better than HP%, theoretically atleast. I could probably do a testing video in the future and see
...I was about to defend Blade by saying that Gallagher's dmg relies on superbreak, and then realized that Blade's dmg is supported by 3 other characters
It's honestly kinda sad how much Jingliu beats Blade in nearly every aspect besides survivability, thankfully they're different elements so against wind-weakness enemies Blade still performs better but still...
Entirely depends on you. From a meta perspective he's not great, he does way too little dmg in one turn compared to someone like Firefly or Acheron. But if you don't care much about meta, and you like characters that deal dmg to themselves to buff their attack, go for it! As shown in the video, even though he's one of the weakest limited 5★ DPS right now, he can still help you with most end-game gamemodes
He is not bad . He just doesn't have a proper support for him like ruan mei is for firefly because of this he is thought as weak but tbh I use him the most from my friends support unfortunately I don't have him yet but he is by far the best self sufficient character in the game and if he gets a devoted support that consistently consumes his hp and increase max hp , his DMG would most likely skyrocket. So yea he is like sele exept he doesn't have a properly dedicated support if you wana go long term I recommend you pull for becs he will surely get indirectly buffed like jing yuan. But if you want meta or short term investment don't pull for him . Those are all my thoughts about him. The final decision is up to you

I've heard of a new banner coming soon recently (not sure if it's 2.4 or not) that works similarly to Genshin's chronicle wish. Though I can't fully confirm the validity of that statement cause I'd much prefer watching the livestream which is tomorrow. But if it's true then there might be a chance Blade will be in that banner soon, that's what I'm assuming atleast

Surprisingly I've actually never tried Arlan before, maybe one day once I have enough leftover materials I'll try him out and see cause the early days where people said Arlan was bad definitely impacted my opinion towards him and then I kinda got afraid to level him up
@yakusokumochi Arlan was my first main in hsr so I have him pretty well built and he can surprisingly dish out 300-600k ults depending on the team comp + 50-160k skills!

oh, i'd like to add just one more thing: getting e2 bronya could be REALLY fun....i don't have sparkle so I can't test it in bronya sparkle yet (unless I decide to. uh. yeah), but it could enable blade to reach up to 160 spd, which is the next threshold, I wonder if you could potentially run something where the cycle starts out normally enough: sparkle (pulls up blade), bronya (pulls up blade again), but then the rotation changes to: blade, sparkle, bronya. so, that's potentially an extra turn per rotation that you could do if you ever nab bronya e2. i know I'll try something like that if I get sparkle, lol. the only issue is that speedtuning is hella annoying in this game ROFL

if the turn order is super fast blade then slightly slower(-1) sparkle then bronya slightly slower(-1) it doesnt work, sparkle wont pull him up fully and then bronya acts before blade.
My blade has 124 speed, 80/210 and with e2 bronya+ruan mei he has 162 speed and bronya has 161 speed so i have best situation
My blade reaches like 183 speed with e1 huohuo and jade which is really fun

I really enjoyed uising Blade + Jade cuz Jade realy helps at giving extra stacks to Blade's passive, helping him to unleash his FUA, besides giving him speed, and a little damage buff, Blade might lose a little bit of personal damage without sparkle, but the damage distribution between him and Jade are pretty enjoyable, Jade might not be the best at doing MOC but i did MOC 11 with 2 cycles, (plus my blade doesnt have his LC, and i used luocha too due to me not having Huo Huo/Fu Xuan). Nice video btw, I'm considering on pulling for Blade's LC.
The Blade + Jade combo sounds broken as a whole, they work really well with each other with one needing FUA to do her FUA and another one needs his HP reduced to do his FUA which you can make it faster by using skill with Jade and then, yeah. If you think you need his lightcone then go for it, it's a really nice QoL with its 18% CrRate at S1

oooo that's actually a tough question to answer, I personally prefer getting his LC first mainly for comfort cause it gives CrRate and also dmg bonus, his E1 is decent but I think getting his LC first is the better option

His lc is like a 30% buff from his 2nd best, def get that
hp/atk boots are what i mostly use on characters because my builds are good enough to the point where i would rather kill them with less attacks than do less damage but have more attacks. also, there are supports that just passively boost speed such as ruan mei! my only speed boots dps are boothill xueyi and himeko cause they're break focused
ah I see, I completely forgot Ruan Mei buffs speed though lmao. Anyways during the early days I also built most of my DPS with ATK/HP boots mainly because I wasn't focusing on MoC too much, but around version 1.4-1.5 I watched a few guides and most people recommended SPD boots, so I guess that's why I changed to SPD boots. Since then though I've never really watched guides and built my characters however I want but those guides did impact my choice of using SPD boots.

8480 hp, 84% cr and 195 % cd e1s1 blade here 👋, in the early days i somehow got lucky and pulled his e1s1 for less than 70 pulls and although people put him in a bad tierlist somehow he still carried me in moc until 2.2 before i managed to get firefly

9:38 thats because tje difference of lvl on enemies and Blade is lower in PF than MoC, at higher lvl difference, enemies have more defense
yeah uh I don't really look at the levels, I just look at the enemy's weakness, use that element and either beat it or not

Running Blade wirh preservation feels forbidden but I'm impressed with your build. I've been thinking about going for lc, and as much as I love Blade I can't really justify getting the lc for a character that I can't use in most content, esp when theres a lot of characters I want coming out 😭

I honestly don't see it as something forbidden, though to be fair I've always used Blade + Fu Xuan ever since Fu Xuan's release so I guess I'm used to it
I definitely get you there, I also want to save up for a high eidolon Blade (initially wanted E6) but like, sooner or later he'll have a rough time beating like Stage 11 of MoC while newer characters can beat it in like 1-0 cycle. So there really isn't a good excuse for me to get E6, but that doesn't mean I can't show atleast some appreciation for the character that carried me to this day so yeah, thank you!
It nice to see a fellow blade enjoyed, my e0s1 blade build is: 8.5k hp, 97spd, 58,2/211 crit with hp orb was really lucky to get a 34.9 and 22 crit dmg rope and orb. Every single moc stage with wind weakness he 0 cycle it no matter the buff with e2s1 bronya, e1 blacksan and e0s1 ruan mei
gosh I wish I had E2 Bronya, someone else mentioned that her E2 is broken with Blade but unfortunately my Bronya luck is nearly non-existent. A bit lower on thr CrRate for stats but he already gets a lot of CrRate from his kit so I guess that should be fine. Interesting though you're using Black Swan with Blade

just friendly advice but you should consider speed tuning your supports:
sparkle > bronya > blade
this way, you can utilize sparkle's 50% aa fully and you wont struggle with her bringing blade up. of course, bronya being slower doesnt mean much cuz her skill has an 100% aa
at first my thought process was if Sparkle was first, she'd only advance Blade's action before Bronya's turn, meaning that I'd waste 2 SP for 1 turn but someone else pointed out that exact same tip and then I realized that the earlier thing would only happen if Blade attacked first, which of course in this situation it won't cause he's slower than Bronya or Sparkle, anyways thank you for still pointing that out

This is so relatable, ive exclusively been farming longevous/ rutilant for the past YEAR but my best chest piece is just a speed stick (exactly 9 like you!!) with cd main stat. I didn't pull sparkle bc I dislike her character but I have no regrets, just waiting for another 2 Bronya copies to fall onto my lap somehow. My account is cursed with Himeko but otherwise quite lucky, I've built three complete longevous sets now and all my supports are decked out with either 2 or 4 pc hackerspace, each with their own broken keel er ropes. After building Lynx when I scored her e6, Luocha has been slowly rotting in a corner, he carried me for a while as a noob but now he is my biggest reget😭 HOYO WHEN WILL YOU GIVE US HP SCALING SUPPORTS?? I dont care if Blade isnt meta, he's my first and favorite character and I would dump whats left of my wallet to make him better, even by a little. Great showcase btw, the past 2 moc have honestly been a struggle with how much break meta was being pushed, and my lack of limited supports. I'm looking forward to pulling for Blade's eidolons and potential supports in the future, wishing yoi the best of luck because you deserve it!!🎉🎉🎉

That's insane that both of our best CrDmg pieces on the longevous set both have 9 SPD, what a coincidence that is.
I'd honestly prefer to be cursed with Himeko instead of someone like Yanqing, Bailu, Gepard or Clara lmao. Atleast I can still use her for Pure Fiction so it ain't all bad, but yeah I can see the frustration with the Himeko if you're only hoping to get Bronya.
It's kinda unfortunate that there are very few characters that can use the longevous set, the only other character I can think of is probably Yunli or Clara but even then both of them have better sets that they can use. Though the good thing is that the hackerspace set is quite universal.
Interesting, this is actually my first time seeing someone regretting getting Luocha, though I'm not too certain how big the healing gap is between E6 Lynx and E0 Luocha. You could still use Luocha for your second team, but that really depends on what dps you're using.
The only time that I can see them releasing an HP scaling support would be when they release another HP scaling dps that has the same or similar HP mechanics to Blade.
For some reason it didn't even cross my mind that the past few MoC cycles have been absolute hell for most crit-based dps besides Acheron. That might be why I've been struggling a lot with the last few phases of MoC.

@@yakusokumochi Lynx's single target healing is actually considerably worse than healers like Luocha or even Gallagher, though it could just be because I built her hyperspeed to keep up with the sp demand. The actual healing difference doesn't matter too much since I'm mostly using Lynx for the max hp buff (still can't get a good hp orb for the life of me so i'm using wind dmg as placeholder), and using her with shared feeling to spam skill and battery the team without the rng of quid pro quo.
It makes sense that another hp scaling dps would powercreep Blade, just like the trend of most new characters coming out with dual scaling (Firefly, Jiaoqiu, Boothill)... BUT I still love my Blade and pull future supports even if he is not in their best in slot team😭
Just yesterday I started farming pioneer/ watchmaker and though I'm proud I let go of my Longevous obsession, the whiplash of not seeing Mr. Malefic Ape in the second phase hit me like a truck. I didn't get any good pieces and was tempted to crawl back to longevous like the trash I am but seeing your video inspired me! Unless you're a max refresher or just insanely lucky, good builds don't get completed overnight, it's a gradual shifting around of various pieces until you look at the stats and feel satisfied for once. So thank you for showing what's possible with enough dedication and braincells necessary to give a proper Bladie showcase💕

Go for it! He might not be the most effective Wind DPS but if you really enjoy his playstyle then that's all that matters, atleast in my eyes. I've used him in every end-game gamemodes for a year and to this day he's still really good

I can't really test out Jade + Blade cause I don't have Jade in this account, but if I were to guess... I think so? Jade helps fuel Blade's FUA which is a huge portion of his dmg and also gives Blade some needed SPD, while Sparkle gives CrDmg and Dmg Bonus. In PF, using Jade would definitely be better but in MoC I'm not too sure, I think it really depends on whether you like doing more frequent dmg (Jade) or doing more dmg per attack (Sparkle). For AS I'm pretty certain Jade's better, atleast in this current cycle. That's my opinion on it but like I said earlier, I don't have Jade so I can't say it with full certainty

surprisingly I don't use Blade and Ruan Mei often, mainly because Ruan Mei is with Firefly most of the time, I forgot what my highest dmg was on Blade against a single target but it was definitely decently high

I love blade as a character but it's insane how badly he's scaling over time. Like, I've seen some crazy 0 cycle Arlan MOC 12 clears with 3 harmonies, and a PERFECT relics Blade does it in 4 cycles? xD
I'm not sure exactly why it came to this, but it's probably because of him scaling off HP for damage that just did not survive the test of time, clearly...
if you're comparing the 3 harmony Arlan doing 0 cycle with this Blade, then I'm afraid you're doing the wrong comparison...
This isn't a perfect Blade (hence, the word "near" in the title) and for those runs you'd typically replace the sustain with another support to do more dmg, and most of the time (I'm assuming atleast cause I rarely watch 0 cycle runs) they all have high SPD and using the Dance!³ LC (again I'm just assuming here, but that's from what I've seen). I'm fairly certain that a better player that regularly does 0 cycles can do a 0 cycle Blade run
Besides that though, I completely agree with how bad he's scaling nowadays. But I don't think it's because of his HP scaling, it's most likely because of low scalings in general. He was released during early version 1 where his only competition was Seele and Jing Yuan, but now? He's literally going against a character that can do 300k+ dmg with a single skill (Firefly) or against someone that has absurd scalinhs with her ult (Acheron). So it's safe to say his time is basically over if we're looking at it from a meta perspective

I find that outside of MOC or Pure Fiction, the full HP build is WAY better for Blade dps. On Speed build bronya and sparkle are needed.
I've actually never tried a full HP build before, but since I primarily play end-game content then that build won't be optimal for it

i was already frustrated because i refarmed my speed bots for hp and my wind orb for hp (trying it out for sparkle bronya because he gets dmg% buffs from em), one entire year is a lot :O
oh wait I never thought about that, I completely forgot that Bronya and Sparkle gives a lot of dmg bonus so building HP might be more worth it compared to wind dmg. I see why a lot of people are using HP% orb on Blade now, thank you so much for enlightening me (even if it's not intended)

Im blade main with 2pc wind and 2pc hp. Support Robin+sign and Bronya+sign Ruan mei for dealing more damage follow up and his damage can reach 80k per hit single target. Sustainer huohuo for more damage Ultimate Blade
personally as a sustainer, I like Fu Xuan more cause she provides more support capabilities for Blade. She's definitely a lot riskier due to her tanking most of the dmg so she's prone to being one shot. Pretty crazy though that his dmg can reach up to 80k against a single target

I'm using set quantum with CR 60%, CD 210% ,HP around 7,8k since I'm using HP boots ..
Always pair him with Jingliu and RM as dual dps..ez 80k per BA qnd 100k+ per ult, 170k per fua.
interesting, so far this is my first time from what I remember seeing someone using the 4 pc quantum on Blade atleast in this comment section (unless I forgot), even then he still hits pretty hard huh

Artifact/Relic farming in this game is such a pain in ass. I have already reached Trailblaze Level 70 and somehow don't even have any decently built characters. Genshin's Artifact grind is way more manageable than Star Rail's 😭💀
I honestly haven't found the grind to be all that tedious. I personally like HSR's relic system more compared to genshin mainly because I can afk it while doing something productive lmao. Sorry to hear your relic luck hasn't been great though, hopefully you'll have better luck in the future!

I personallt, would really like a new character that focuses on buffing a single character by sacrificing that character's HP (similar to Jade's skill), though any support is fine with me as long as it improves Blade. I unfortunately don't see that happening unless they decide to release a character that works similarly to Blade and then add a buff character for it

This is a really good blade. Try to hit 7000k hp. This will make him hit even harder. For example, my blade was 7300hp with 68/ 230 crid rate/damage. So, on average, he hit for like 89k to 97k on his first enhanced basic. When i got the hp sphere instead of an attack, he had 8400 hp, which made him hit way hicher numbers. But his crid damage went down from 230 to 214, and somehow, the crit rate stayed the same 68.4%
7 mil hp? jk but the only piece that really needs to be changed is the body piece mainly because with this build he doesn't need SPD, so I could probably reach 7k HP if I had better luck. Idk when but I'll definitely be farming for the SPD set for Bronya and Sparkle later so I'll definitely have a chance to build a better Blade

my blade does 200k dmg in average in his ult (stats: 8000hp 70cr 188cd) didn't build him speed cuz i usually play him with 160speed bronya E0S1
oh that's actually similar to mine, it's just you have more HP than me while I have more CV compared to you. If I had known earlier Blade doesn't really need SPD with Bronya and Sparkle I would've been done with him a loooooong time ago

I make sparkle faster than bronya bc bronya gives 100% of the time another action but sparkle doesn’t, so when u get action first with sparkle u can get another action with bronya easily! This is an advice mostly for the low speed blade’s out there!

i really wished i could had good stats on my himeko, poor girl doesnt have any good relic, her crit ratio is 70 to 90, and i've farming relics for her for a year as well, but it doesnt matter much, she already does a lot of damage (not that i need a dps having almost every character in the game)
Speaking from experience, I personally have had a lot of success from using a standard Herta in PF, of course good stats would be ideal but I find it quite difficult to get good relics for PF characters for some odd reason

What is more valuable Double Crit values or single Crit values on relics?
it really just depends on your luck. Ideally you want a double crit piece with 4 substats immediately and all the rolls went towards crit at the highest rolls possible but that's extremely rare to find. Typically double crit values are more valuable but single ones could be more valuable as long as it all rolls into crit.
You could do a Crit Value calculation in which if you have CrRate, you multiply it by 2 and then keep CrDmg as it is. A crit value is an addition of the CrRate x 2 and CrDmg (formula is something along the lines of (CR x 2) + CD = CV)

Y'know what, you might actually be right! Ratio, Welt, Blade, Gallagher are all characters I regularly use and they're all fun in their own unique way. There are probably a lot of other male characters that I use but I can't think of right now

yeah Fu Xuan buffs CrRate and also you get 16% additional CrRate from 4 pc Longevous, so essentially you'll have nearly 100 CrRate

I have an account where it was farming for DHIL's relics and no joke I spent like 2-3 patches farming that same domain and got mediocre pieces. To add more salt to the wound, apparently that relic set isn't even his best one so I basically spent a lot of TB powers for a mediocre DHIL
i really like blade, but i wish he was better bc he is so fun to play, i farmed 2 months for him and 3 months for speed pieces, so i farmed for him too by osmosis, my E0s0 blade has 60/150 with 6500 hp with arlan lc, and he hits like wet noodles lol, i wish he was stronger at base level
I mean he was pretty solid during the early days, but I guess his time to shine is already over, he's still quite strong even now but not in the level of Acheron and Firefly where they can just breeze through most contents in the game as long as you have decent pieces

I forgot what my Acheron stats were but it was definitely NOT that good, for me personally, getting high crit on Acheron is extraordinarily difficult mainly because of bad luck so I'm actually really jealous of those stats

If I'm being honest, efficiency wise Blade's not the best option to build cause he needs a lot of investment and even with a lot of investment he's not as strong as characters like Firefly or Acheron. I don't really know whether you like HP-draining mechanics or not but if you do he's 100% worth it to build cause he's just super fun to use, especially with all of the FUAs. But if you've got limited stamina, then I don't really recommend investing in him as much as it hurts me to say this...

As much as I love him, his dmg is severely lacking in this current cycle and I'm afraid he'll only get worse from here. not really, I forgot what the specific numbers are but with 4 pc longevous and Fu Xuan (which is like a 24% CrRate increase iirc), those are enough buffs for Blade to guarantee a crit everytime he attacks

I don't think so? Most DPS characters prefer using their element dmg bonus because they get very few dmg bonuses in their kit, which includes Blade. While you get HP% from his rope, and boots if you're running an HP% one and also more HP% from his signature and then more from traces. Overall Dmg Bonus scales much better than HP%, theoretically atleast. I could probably do a testing video in the future and see

Entirely depends on you. From a meta perspective he's not great, he does way too little dmg in one turn compared to someone like Firefly or Acheron. But if you don't care much about meta, and you like characters that deal dmg to themselves to buff their attack, go for it! As shown in the video, even though he's one of the weakest limited 5★ DPS right now, he can still help you with most end-game gamemodes
He is not bad . He just doesn't have a proper support for him like ruan mei is for firefly because of this he is thought as weak but tbh I use him the most from my friends support unfortunately I don't have him yet but he is by far the best self sufficient character in the game and if he gets a devoted support that consistently consumes his hp and increase max hp , his DMG would most likely skyrocket. So yea he is like sele exept he doesn't have a properly dedicated support if you wana go long term I recommend you pull for becs he will surely get indirectly buffed like jing yuan. But if you want meta or short term investment don't pull for him .
