They had a show on Friday & sat nights called “the kingdom rock show” & I used to tag along but usually pass out before they signed off at 2am…so nostalgic to hear this & others like white cross, barren cross, stryper, paradox, bloodgood…tourniquet..I can’t think of another one. Good times. ☺️

I have been a Deliverance fan since the 80s and 90's. When I first heard them I was blown away. In 92ish they played at a local church here and it was awesome moshing in front of the steps up to the stage. They played What a Joke as a debut for that album which was just about to release later that year. So cool!!!!
Deliverance is THE Christian Metal Band! I introduced Weapons of Our Warfare as a running cadence in my Army Basic Training platoon. They loved it. My friend Charles met Jimmy P. Brown a few times, and held an interview with him on his Christian Metal radio show, "Disillusionitized Defamation of Psychotic Metamorphasis" at San Bernardino Valley College (CA) in 1992. He was known as "Psycho-Logical." The show was cancelled by Johnny Rocker, for preaching the word, after a year on the air.
