Jerry sthal made the first set of equil length headers and made the original headers for Chevy that came in the trunks of the cars that people ordered like the 67 Camaros thanks Jerry you are the man
I had a 55 flip front end with a full blown 396 c.i. 4 speed back in 76. 2 Door hardtop Red black truck & roll. Ran it a couple of years, sold it then I got a 57 2 door post it was a screamer. Later I got a 67 GT fast back mustang gold color and it hardly ever got out ran. Man what I would give up if I could have them back.

I always get leary seeing the rear-end of a dragster try to go around the front-end on take off ! A friend mine had a friend that flipped his car shortly after take off ! He was lucky to survive the crash but his car was beyond repair !

That is how I got into cars.I am 74 and I own a 33 willys. Looking for a 55 nomad so I can tow my race car You can build mild to wild 55_57 chevys. God bless

55 is my favorite car , but after you cut that stupid circle out of the rear tire quarter panel it ruins it , That's because it was easier to do and boys were too stupid to narrow the rear end
I hear ya on that but I also like the idea of seeing what can be accomplished going EV. Even Big Daddy went after the record for an EV dragster. I’m always gonna prefer the noice and violence of a built, gas engine though. Especially in freakin PROJECT X!!! I hope they aren’t serious about keeping it EV.

The bell housing is for a big block Mopar max wedge probably from back in the day when Mopar dealer ships sold speed parts for drag racing

Ever seen a fake 2 4 barrel tunnel ram ? My dad had a 55 nomad tilt front end and a small block with the fake tunnel ram. Only one I have ever seen

When I was in High School you could buy a decent '55-6 for about $150. '57s were not that cheap even then. More like $300-500.
