Looking forward to this. I used to work in a bodyshop in the 90s and we had these in all the time smashed up in one way or another. Same with the cossies too.
Cracking video Adam look forward to seeing the process, followed Tommy f yeah on here for some time and his skyline restorations are beautiful good to see a uk company doing it
Did I hear someone say scrap it more like save it cars like the GTR are one of the most iconic cars you watch ten years they will be in the excess of a quarter of a million pounds + much love for the GTR
Cool video I think I'm more into the preservation more than the modifying these days. A guy in my street has an r34 must have a bigger turbo as always warms it up before he goes out is in a garage and only comes out in nice weather.
US serviceman must be earning a few quid to pay for this level of resto......be interested to know the final cost is going to be but im smelling at least £25k just to get to a decent painted shell.
I know a GTR is worth a pretty penny now but wow that is going to be one hell of an expensive restoration! Def one for someone that has deep pockets. Personally speaking id far rather pay more in the first place to get a shell thats alot cleaner instead of having a shell thats had welds everywhere on it. That would always be on my mind lol.
I remember when the GTR heritage centre was based in Wingate near Lloyd's MOTs. There's been some amazing motors at their place over the years. Cracking place. Nice to know they still local. Looks to be near KNS in your video .
It’s crazy the prices that these cars are demanding these days. I’m 43 now, when I was in my early 20’s my mate had a skyline, beautiful looking thing, that he tried selling me for very little money really. I can’t remember what he wanted for it but I did consider buying it so it can’t of been much. Wish I had bought it and put it in the garage.

Can’t wait to see all this series. There’s loads of GTR restores out there but I know you will make it good to watch an in-depth.❤

My area is full of ukaf and there’s 3 bases in my area and let me tell you some of the motors they have round here are serious
You could end up wanting a GTR before the end of the series. Happy Christmas, I'm sure with everything going on you've had a tough year.

That looks like a very expensive resto.

100k car there
Rust is to a minimum
Salt
Why aye it's a piece of junk 😂
Cheating on cosworth Adam booo.
A Ford Cosworth isn't nearly in the same league as a Nissan GTR.
Skylines are cool though 👌🏼
Skylines are better 😜 on a serious note I love cosworths just as much as I do skylines but I do own a R33 GTR 750hp love it 🍻
He probably just wanted to visit something the goes more rusty and has a more fragile engine and gearbox 😂
@@maverick4177 you can't afford one do you don't need to worry about reliability.
I’ve never been a fan of these 👀
Scrap it ok.
What car do you drive?
