13:40 the F-450 and F-550 have the same brakes. The difference between the two is cab and chassis and leaf packs for that 19,500 GVW from what I understand.
I put my compressor on the frame above the spare tire. When it comes on… you never hear it in the truck. Also, make sure you’re running some air in the bags when carrying a load. You no longer have bump stops and you’ll destroy the bags if their not pressurized. My fifth wheel is 14000 lbs and it takes about 85 psi to level the truck up. I always pressurize the bags before loading too. Less work on the compressor.
Things change on the rear axle. I removed air lift 5000 ultimate air bags from my old 2019 F350 dually. Did not fit on my new 2021. Some lines on the driver side interfered with the bracket on the driver side. That sux.. had just purchased them for the 19...
If you get a chance some day you should run it all across a scale. Would be good FIY for your operation, and as a viewer I love knowing the weights of different stuff. Cheers!
I have a Ram 3500 and it came from the factory with auto-leveling rear bags. I tell ya, its the cats meow. Does Ford not have a factory option for bags?
They are monsters with no mods, I recently drove a new gas 7.3, great motor but absolutely no comparison to a 6.7, some are going back to gas but not me, I've owned diesels my whole life, ford has the emissions thing figured out! When you have more than 12k behind you, like me, 18k 5th wheel, a 6-8% grade is a friggin breeze with these trucks, gas, you'd have your foot thru the floorboard and slowing down.
Do the new LED lights have a self leveling feature? Regardless, I would say to measure your front and rear ride height and aim your airbag settings to mimic those heights....at least the height with the empty trailer on the truck (that seemed pretty level from this point of view).

My buddy owned a 2018 f250 and I have a 2021 and he drove it. Says the new motor and 10 speed trans tows better and says he definitely feels the power difference. Would you concur?
Yeah your right I just noticed that. Lol thanks for pointing that out. Need to try to find operating weight now. lol I don’t feel they are very accurate on their weights
@@workplaytv best net would be to weigh truck amd trailer empty and then truck and trailer loaded to find that out. Love the content and if you're getting a 40k trailer in the future would love to see content on that!! Keep up the great work!

I think that was the reasoning behind the F600.

Great video and review on the bags. I’m definitely going to add bags to my rig now.
Truck looks like it tows well with the bags. Should be a monster after the rest of the mods are done.

I see familiar area...rolling through the Chester/Windsor Road!
is that adjustable height comes from the factory or did you customized your rear suspension

Thinking about buying a 450. What are the rpms at at 80mph? With that 4:30 rear end
They should have an app in your phone for the airbag. Wonder why ford doesn’t offer airbags as an option
I agree it’s hard to believe ram is the only one.
What’s the number of the shop I need to have a tank done and airbags
Where are you located?
Any exhaust brake improvements over 20?
Show your trans and oil temps next time you tow if you think of it, just curious.

Surprised you didn’t go with airlift 7500lb
They said it wouldn’t fit. Honestly it’s annoying talking to these people
Do think it could’ve ? Not familiar with the undersold the 450
@@cristobalospina620 honestly I’m sure they would fit. Just didn’t want to waste the time. Calling and asking is no help
Disk brakes on the trailer period. I will never consider non disk brake big gooseneck trailers again.
I pull a 40 ft load trail trailer with a 21 ford f350. I need to get me those airbags on order.
Nice!!
